Although it was a sports car, Lin Qianqian drove it slowly and cautiously. To be honest, this somewhat wasted the car's capabilities, but safety was paramount. 0

Lin Qianqian's grandfather lived in Water Heart Garden, a well-known affluent area. There were a hundred villas in total, and acquiring one required not only immense wealth but also significant social status. Of course, Ye Mingshang was unaware of this. 0

After driving at a speed of forty miles per hour for about an hour, they finally arrived at the villa area of Water Heart Garden. As soon as they reached the entrance, they were stopped by the security guard. The guard was dressed differently from ordinary security personnel; he wore a black suit that resembled that of Special Operations forces. Moreover, Ye Mingshang noticed his sharp gaze and steady footsteps, exuding a faint aura of menace. He must have undergone special training and likely had experience in combat; it was unclear whether he was a soldier or a mercenary. 0

After some questioning and a phone confirmation, they were finally allowed to enter. This made Ye Mingshang unable to refrain from complaining; getting in here was far more complicated than entering a military zone. He wondered what kind of people lived inside that required such stringent security. Wasn't Lin Qianqian's grandfather involved in metaphysics? And since he couldn't enter the Yin Yang Circle, his abilities couldn't be that impressive either; it seemed excessive to have such protection. 0

Once inside, Ye Mingshang realized that the interior did not resemble an ordinary villa area as he had imagined. Instead of rows of houses, there were large distances between each villa, with careful consideration given to their placement—likely following principles of feng shui. 0

After driving for nearly ten more minutes within the complex, they finally stopped in front of one villa. This particular villa looked distinctly Chinese, resembling an ancient wooden structure but built with brick materials, blending traditional and modern styles. 0

The outer wall of the villa was quite low, serving merely as decoration; even a child could easily climb over it. Pushing open the outer gate, they entered to find an elderly man dressed simply watering the plants. 0

"Grandpa, we’re here!" Lin Qianqian called out cheerfully while waving at the old man. 0

"Oh, Qianqian is here!" The old man looked up upon hearing her voice and smiled happily upon seeing Lin Qianqian waving joyfully. 0

"Grandpa, why are you still watering the flowers? There are people who can do this; you should rest properly," Lin Qianqian said as she approached him and hugged his arm with concern. 0

"Hehe! I can't sit still at my age, and these flowers have accompanied me for so many years; I don't trust anyone else to take care of them," the old man replied kindly. He then noticed Ye Mingshang standing nearby and asked, "Is this your friend?" 0

Lin Qianqian pouted playfully and said, "Grandpa, how could you forget? This is Brother Ye who practices Exorcism that I told you about! Didn't I say I would bring him to meet you?" 0

"Right, right! I remember now. Grandpa is getting old; my memory isn’t what it used to be," the old man chuckled without any irritation and then turned to Ye Mingshang, asking, "Young man, do you really practice Exorcism?" 0

"Yes," Ye Mingshang nodded affirmatively. 0

"Are there really ghosts in this world?" The old man asked with curiosity but also some skepticism. Although he specialized in metaphysics and had deep knowledge of feng shui, he had never delved into matters related to the Yin Yang Circle nor had he encountered any so-called ghosts or spirits. When he first heard from Lin Qianqian about her acquaintance with Brother Ye who practiced Exorcism, he felt both intrigued and doubtful. Thus, he invited Lin Qianqian to bring him home to gauge Ye Mingshang’s character. 0

"There are," Ye Mingshang's response was simple; he merely affirmed without elaborating or providing proof. This left the old man feeling somewhat displeased; Ye Mingshang's attitude struck him as impolite. Regardless of social status, at his age, shouldn't a younger person understand basic respect towards their elders? 0

"Ah, Grandpa. Let's not stand outside. We can talk inside," Lin Qianqian quickly intervened, sensing the awkward atmosphere. She knew Ye Mingshang's temperament; he always appeared cold and aloof. 0

The interior was a blend of Eastern and Western styles, with a spacious living room furnished with several European medieval-style sofas. There was also an open study made of mahogany, adorned with a few famous calligraphies and paintings on the walls. 0

The group sat on the medieval sofas, and soon a white butler brought in tea. After taking a sip, the elderly man asked, "I heard from Qianqian that your surname is Ye? That's quite rare." 0

"Yes, our principal's surname is Ye. I share the same surname with him," Ye Mingshang replied, holding the teacup with one hand while resting his elbow on the other. 0

"Principal?" 0

"Grandpa, Brother Ye is an orphan who was adopted by our principal. Let's not discuss such sad topics," Lin Qianqian said disapprovingly. 0

"Alright, let me ask a different question then. Ye... I'll just call you Mr. Ye. I heard from Qianqian that you practice Exorcism. I'm quite curious about this matter. Although I've studied Feng Shui and metaphysics for most of my life, I've never encountered any ghosts or spirits. I wonder if Mr. Ye has a way to let me see one?" The old man squinted his eyes, staring intently at Ye Mingshang. 0

Ye Mingshang understood; it seemed this old man suspected him of being a fraud. However, he shook his head in response to the old man's request. 0

"What? Is this something Mr. Ye cannot do?" Seeing Ye Mingshang shake his head, the old man felt a hint of disdain rise within him, further convinced that this cold young man was merely a charlatan. 0

"If I'm not mistaken, the entire villa area is actually a Feng Shui setup. Although I can't see the whole picture, I can sense its uniqueness. The road we came in looks ordinary but is actually a waist waterway, encircling the villas like a jade belt around the waist, which is beneficial for gathering wealth. A stream complements the road, creating a dual dragon emerging from the sea effect. The entire villa area is built against a mountain, which in Feng Shui is referred to as sitting solidly while facing emptiness—beneficial for both prosperity and wealth..." As Ye Mingshang explained, the old man's expression gradually softened. 0

"The entire villa area is indeed a setup for gathering wealth; although it's not a grand formation, it still has good effects. These formations deter wandering souls and ghosts from entering; even vengeful spirits dislike it. That's why I cannot let you see them; summoning wandering souls would frighten them away, and summoning powerful ones could lead to trouble. Do you understand?" After explaining extensively, Ye Mingshang took a sip of water and looked calmly at the old man. 0

"Not bad; it seems you've put in some effort. You have some knowledge of Feng Shui. However, even so, that doesn't mean you can perform Exorcism," the old man maintained an air of indifference while observing Ye Mingshang with interest. 0

"Indeed, I'm not proficient in Feng Shui; I only know a little about it. As for Exorcism and subduing demons—that's my specialty. I don't need to prove or demonstrate anything to you. However, I dislike your attitude." 0

"Golden Fire Flourishes, Jiao Lian Yuan Shen. Internal Protection Form, External Demon Spirit. Urgent Order!" Ye Mingshang produced a Yellow Talisman and recited the incantation as it ignited. 0

"Is this some kind of magic trick?" The old man scoffed. 0

"Old man, watch closely; metaphysics isn't as simple as you think." As soon as he finished speaking, the talisman burned completely, yet the flames did not extinguish; instead, orange-red flames danced in the air like fiery spirits. With Ye Mingshang's manipulation of his magical power, the flames took on shapes resembling swords and birds before he waved his hand and transformed them into a one-meter-tall Fire Phoenix that circled around the old man in astonishment. 0

The old man could clearly feel the intense heat of the flames. Observing closely, he realized that this was not some kind of magic. He had never seen any magic that felt so real. 0

"It seems I misunderstood you, brother. Let me apologize to Brother Ye with tea instead of wine." The old man was quite straightforward; upon witnessing Ye Mingshang's abilities and encountering the Expert, he immediately raised his teacup and drank it all. 0

"It's only human nature, no harm done." Those who insult others will always be insulted in return, while those who respect others will always be respected. Since the other party had already lowered themselves to apologize, Ye Mingshang did not pursue the matter further. 0

"Brother Ye, you are young yet possess such skills, and you are neither arrogant nor impetuous—truly impressive. It's getting late; if you don't mind, please stay for a meal." 0

Ye Mingshang initially wanted to refuse, but seeing Lin Qianqian's expectant gaze, he nodded in agreement. 0

"Henry! Prepare more of your signature dishes; I want to entertain our esteemed guest." After instructing the butler, the old man invited Ye Mingshang to his study for a chat. He had an almost fervent love for metaphysics. Over the years, he had collected many discussions on Feng Shui and Physiognomy. Although he had not mastered the Yin-Yang Technique after years of study, he had learned Feng Shui and made a name for himself with this skill. 0

His study was actually just a corner of the living room with a table and two rows of bookshelves. Ye Mingshang could see that the shelves were filled with books like "I Ching," "Zhou Yi," "Wen Wang Bagua," "Feng Shui and Physiognomy," and "Supernatural Discussions." The creased corners of the books indicated that they were frequently read. While some books were nonsensical, there were also genuinely useful ones. For instance, an old book resembling a pirated copy titled "Ghostly Encounters" contained accounts from ordinary people who had seen ghosts, including illustrations of Yin Yang Masters and Exorcism. 0

"That book was something I found at a street stall twenty years ago; I spent a long time looking through it. I learned some methods from it, but without a way to test them, I don't know their authenticity," the old man explained as he saw Ye Mingshang flipping through the yellowed pages. 0

"The stories should be true; some Exorcism methods are indeed useful. However, if you can't open your Yin Eye, you won't be able to see spirits. You might not encounter supernatural events in your lifetime, so these things may not be of use to you." 0

"Is there any way for me to see ghosts?" He didn't catch everything else clearly, but he noticed the mention of opening the Yin Eye and immediately asked with excitement. 0
