Yin Yang Demon Suppression
"Are you starting to take this seriously?" Ye Mingshang looked at the Zombie in front of him, who had transformed from a Korean oppa into an American muscular man, with amusement.
"Human! I will kill you!" The Zombie panted heavily, charging forward like a Humanoid Titan, each step shaking the ground.
"Roar!" The Zombie clenched his fist and swung it towards Ye Mingshang. If that punch landed, even Ye Mingshang would meet his end, as powerful as his Daoist Arts were; he was still flesh and blood.
"Hmph! Arrogant!" Ye Mingshang shouted coldly, also clenching his fist and striking back from a distance. His Smoke Palm mirrored the action, aiming at the Zombie.
"Bang!" A dull sound echoed as a strong impact created a gust of wind!
This time, the Zombie did not get knocked back but stood firm, matching the strength of the smoke fist.
"Roar!" The Zombie roared, unleashing his power once more and shattering the Smoke Palm. Without hesitation, he charged straight at Ye Mingshang, clearly intent on killing him in one blow.
"Not bad... but you underestimate me. Hehe~" Ye Mingshang chuckled lightly, positioning his hands in a claw shape as if holding a sphere.
As Ye Mingshang moved, the dissipating smoke began to gather again. It seemed to emanate directly from the Zombie's body due to his charge, forming smoky ropes that coiled around him like Spirit Serpents, binding him tightly no matter how much he struggled.
More smoke condensed around them, gradually forming a sphere that surrounded the Zombie.
"This is your Tomb..." Ye Mingshang pressed his hands together, causing the smoke sphere to shrink bit by bit. It looked as if he intended to crush the Zombie directly, exuding a sense of violent beauty.
"Smoke Burial!" A voice came from clenched fists as the spherical smoke twisted and elongated into a humanoid shape.
"Why does this move resemble my Aira's Sand Funeral so much?! The name is similar too?!" Joan couldn't help but comment.
As the terrifying Zombie was distorted by the smoke, everyone couldn't help but cheer. However, before they could celebrate for long, the smoke began to move.
"Chirp~ Chirp~" The smoke trembled, making a sound like wringing clothes.
"Boom!" After a few breaths, the smoke exploded, revealing a tall figure.
The smoke lingered as a large shadow stood in the center, with only a pair of crimson eyes visible, emanating an eerie power.
"Human, you are indeed strong. You are the strongest human I have ever seen, able to force me into this state," the Zombie's hoarse voice came through.
"I should say the same; your power is indeed beyond my expectations," Ye Mingshang said with a charming smile.
As the smoke dissipated, the Zombie's size returned to that of an ordinary person. At this moment, he looked up at the sky.
"Today is the night of the full moon..." The Zombie's eyes revealed a sense of obsession.
Seeing the full moon in the sky, Ye Mingshang thought to himself that it was bad and was about to strike down the Zombie but was a step too late.
Moonlight fell gently, and the Zombie's face was filled with enjoyment and satisfaction. A powerful aura spread outwards. The trees with trunks as thick as bowls seemed about to break, and dust flew around so violently that people could hardly open their eyes. Some weaker individuals were even nearly blown away by the fierce wind.
Among all those present, only Ye Mingshang remained unaffected. He squinted his eyes to protect them and stood rooted to the ground as if he had taken root, while his black leather coat fluttered wildly in the wind.
From a distance, it could be seen that the ground beneath the Zombie began to crack under pressure, spreading until it reached a diameter of three meters before stopping. The wounds on the Zombie's body also began to heal at a visible rate; his previously pale skin became radiant. His crimson eyes gradually cleared up, and his disheveled hair started to shine.
"Damn! Is he about to turn into a Super Saiyan?" Joan exclaimed as she was nearly blown away by the wind.
The process did not take long; after about a few dozen breaths, the wind finally calmed down. Everyone let out a sigh of relief, as they had exhausted themselves fighting against the strong winds.
"I didn't expect you to break through at this moment," Ye Mingshang said, his expression somewhat serious.
"Yes, originally using blood as a catalyst would have suited me better. Unfortunately, your strength forced me to use moon essence for my breakthrough," Zombie's voice was no longer hoarse but had become rich and magnetic.
"Oh? Now I'm curious. While most Zombies choose to break through using blood, that's because they cannot rely on moonlight for various reasons. Since you have this opportunity, why lament? Breaking through with moon essence can make a Zombie more spiritual and powerful, can't it?" Ye Mingshang questioned.
"My strength doesn't matter; I'm merely a sacrifice for Master’s resurrection. Since I can't use blood as a catalyst, I have to resort to other methods," Zombie shook his head.
"You are so powerful yet still have a master? Could it be the Holy King?" Ye Mingshang was shocked. Just this Zombie already possessed the strength of a Flying Zombie, and there were very few who could contend with him at that moment. Moreover, relying on moon essence for the breakthrough meant that he had washed away his blood energy, leaving plenty of room for future growth. Such immense power and potential yet still having a master? How strong could that master be? The strength of the Holy King?
"Strength does not determine everything..." Zombie said lightly but suddenly made his move.
With a gentle leap, he soared seven or eight meters high and charged down towards Ye Mingshang from above.
Ye Mingshang did not dare to underestimate the attack from the Flying Zombie. He naturally spread his legs apart and brought his hands together to form a Buddhist Seal. Suddenly, the winds surged and clouds gathered. A mist behind Ye Mingshang condensed into a giant ten meters tall.
"Amitabha!" He softly chanted the Buddha's name while maintaining the seal with his left hand and thrusting his right hand forward.
The Smoke Giant mirrored his actions, striking down towards Zombie with a seemingly slow but unavoidable palm strike.
Zombie's gaze sharpened as he abandoned his attack on Ye Mingshang and struck towards the Smoke Palm with both hands.
"Bang!"
"Buzz!"
First, a loud collision sound echoed, followed by a ringing noise that resonated in the mind. Accompanying this was a strong wind generated by the impact.
After a few seconds of stalemate, the Zombie was knocked back several meters, floating in the air, while the Smoke Palm dissipated somewhat.
"I didn't expect you, a Taoist, to use the Buddhist Seal technique!" the Zombie said, narrowing its eyes in surprise.
"I'm not a Taoist; there's no distinction between Taoism and Buddhism for me. As long as it's useful, I would even use Evil Arts," Ye Mingshang replied calmly.
"You are quite interesting... However, if those Taoists and monks heard you say this, they would probably think you've gone mad and fallen into demonic ways. Haha!" Ye Mingshang's words gave the Zombie a sense of encountering a kindred spirit.
"Right and wrong, good and evil do not depend on the techniques used but on one's heart. Without kindness, no matter how bright or sacred the techniques used are, they cannot change the ugly truth of one's soul." At this moment, Ye Mingshang's use of Buddhist principles somewhat altered his demeanor; with his hands pressed together in prayer and a serious expression, if he were to shave his head and don monk robes, he would definitely resemble an enlightened High Monk.
"You speak with some Taoist wisdom," the Zombie smiled, then suddenly flashed forward to attack.
"Indeed, you've become quite clever," Ye Mingshang said with compassion as he struck out with his palm.
With a loud "bang," their forces collided, though it wasn't as intense as before. The Zombie had just broken through and was unfamiliar with its own strength, using too much force at first. Ye Mingshang understood the Flying Zombie's prowess and didn't dare to underestimate it, thus exerting considerable effort which resulted in that strong wind earlier.
At this point, both knew they couldn't take each other down in a short time and naturally wouldn't use all their strength with every attack. Instead, they continuously probed for opportunities to strike.
As they clashed again, the Zombie was sent flying by a palm strike but quickly executed a graceful arc in mid-air before charging again.
Ye Mingshang performed the Vajra-like Majesty technique, forming a hand seal and striking again with his left fingertip aimed to the side, sending the Zombie flying once more. The Zombie then adjusted its angle and attacked again.
With a hand gesture reminiscent of the orchid finger, a spell was cast, sending the opponent flying once again.
Thus, the two continued to exchange blows, repeating similar yet distinct actions. Zombie attacked from different angles, attempting to find Ye Mingshang's weakness and looking for an opportunity to strike.
Ye Mingshang, on the other hand, consistently changed his hand seals, repeatedly sending Zombie flying away.
"Bang!" This time, as Zombie made contact with Ye Mingshang's palm, he feigned an attack and suddenly changed direction to charge at Ye Mingshang, trying to destroy his true form. Just a few meters away from Ye Mingshang, when he thought he was about to succeed, a slap at an unusual angle sent him crashing sideways.
After crashing into a wall, Zombie slowly stood up and wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth. He stared intently at Ye Mingshang.
Ye Mingshang's strength was far beyond his expectations; despite appearing only twenty years old, he possessed such profound magical abilities. His combat experience was incredibly rich, akin to that of a seasoned warrior.
Such formidable power was rarely seen! This was Zombie's assessment of Ye Mingshang.
However, after exchanging so many moves, Zombie had formed a rough evaluation of Ye Mingshang's abilities. They should be roughly equal; even if Ye Mingshang was stronger, it wouldn't be by much. Although his magic was advanced, Zombie's body was incredibly tough, with terrifying physical strength. His speed and power were nearly perfect, even possessing the ability of Flying.
As long as he seized the opportunity to break through Ye Mingshang's smoke spell, he would have a chance to close in! At that point, a single punch would be enough to shatter Ye Mingshang's Heart! After all, he was merely a mortal; no matter how strong his Daoist Arts were, he could not withstand Zombie's punch.
"You are strong for someone so young. Given time, your future would be limitless. Unfortunately, you are still too young!" As soon as he finished speaking, Zombie charged forward like an arrow released from a bow.
Ye Mingshang naturally did not dare to be careless; the opponent's defense was terrifying. What seemed like multiple hits earlier had not caused him any substantial harm.
