Jijun took Li Xiaolu back to his home.
In the elevator, Li Xiaolu looked at the doors, her heart racing. She didn't expect Jijun to suggest that she move in with him. Did this mean their relationship was progressing?
Li Xiaolu stole a glance at Jijun and quickly averted her gaze. She was afraid he would discover her thoughts.
When the elevator arrived, Jijun held her hand as they walked out. Li Xiaolu followed behind him, her head down, looking like a shy bride.
Suddenly, she remembered that her luggage was still at the apartment. Li Xiaolu stopped and said, "Um... my luggage is still at the apartment."
Jijun looked at her and replied, "I'll go with you to get it tomorrow."
Li Xiaolu nodded, "Okay."
Jijun then asked, "So should we go to my place now?"
Li Xiaolu's cheeks flushed, "Mm-hmm."
Jijun smiled and led her into the parking lot.
In the parking lot, they encountered an elderly couple. The grandmother seemed to have difficulty walking, and the grandfather was pushing her along.
Li Xiaolu watched them, feeling a pang of emotion in her heart. She quietly asked Jijun, "If we grow old, will you take care of me like that?"
Jijun looked down at her and said, "I will."
Li Xiaolu felt sweet inside and replied, "I will take good care of you too."
Jijun smiled again and said, "Good."
They got into the car, and Jijun started the engine, driving out of the parking lot.
On the road, Jijun asked Li Xiaolu, "Do you want to go out and have some fun?"
Li Xiaolu blinked, "Go out and have fun?"
Jijun nodded, "I have a friend in Yunnan. He said there are many beautiful sights there; we can go see them."
Li Xiaolu thought for a moment, "But my leg..."
Jijun looked at her, "Your leg is fine; we can use a wheelchair."
Li Xiaolu hesitated, "But... won't I delay your work?"
Jijun shook his head, "No, you won't."
Li Xiaolu still seemed a bit uncertain.
Jijun looked at her, "If you don't want to go, then forget it."
Li Xiaolu shook her head, "I want to go; I'm just afraid of delaying your work."
Jijun smiled, "It won't be a problem. My work is all on the computer; I can do it anywhere."
Hearing him say that, she felt relieved.
She said, "Then I want to go see it."
Jijun nodded, "Okay, I'll make arrangements and take you there as soon as possible."
Li Xiaolu happily nodded, "Mm."

Back home, Li Xiaolu sent a message to Zhang Lin.
[Linlin, thank you.]
Zhang Lin: [Thank me for what?]
Li Xiaolu: [Thank you for encouraging me to tell Jijun about my accident.]
Zhang Lin: [Haha, no need to mention it. How are things going with you two now?]
Li Xiaolu: [He asked me to move in with him so he can take care of me more easily.]
Zhang Lin: [Wow, congratulations! You two are officially going to live together!]
Li Xiaolu: "Hmm."
Zhang Lin: "Then you should seize the opportunity and win him over soon."

Before going to bed, Li Xiaolu sent a message to Jijun.
"Are you asleep?"
Jijun quickly replied: "No."
Li Xiaolu: "I want to video chat with you."
Jijun: "Okay, wait a moment."
A few minutes later, Jijun's video invitation came through.
Li Xiaolu clicked to answer.
Jijun's handsome face appeared on the screen.
Li Xiaolu looked at him, "What are you doing?"
Jijun looked at her, "Thinking about you."
Li Xiaolu's cheeks flushed, "You... why did you suddenly say that?"
Jijun smiled, "Because you're very cute."
Li Xiaolu's face turned even redder, "You... don't compliment me, or I'll get proud."
Jijun chuckled softly, "If you're proud, then be proud. I like your pride."
Li Xiaolu's heart raced; she felt like she was being charmed by Jijun.
She quickly changed the subject, "What do you want to eat tomorrow morning? I'll make it for you."
Jijun looked at her, "I like everything you make."
Li Xiaolu's cheeks were as red as an apple, "Then... I'll cook some porridge for you."
Jijun nodded, "Okay."
After chatting for a while longer, they finally ended the video call. Li Xiaolu lay on her bed, her heart racing. She felt as if her heart was about to leap out of her chest.
