The training ground was surrounded by more than two hundred disciples from Wuhua Island, while Xu Feng and his group numbered only about thirty, making them appear weak in comparison.
Once everyone was seated, several leaders from Wuhua Island finally arrived. Hua Guinian and Hua Wanduo walked in front, followed closely by the day's main character, Hua Du.
Hua Guinian strode confidently, exuding an imposing aura. Due to Hua Qian Zhi's powerful emergence, no faction could rival him. After waiting for many years, he finally saw the opportunity to unify Liuxiang Kingdom. With the Antidote from One Hundred Years of Solitude being replicated, Wuhua Island had faced numerous setbacks over the past few months, and the reputation of Liuxiang Xian Dao's first island had become meaningless. Hua Guinian wished he could kill the person who created the Antidote with a thousand cuts; unfortunately, Wei Xianshu's dispatched Purple Flower Disciples either returned empty-handed or not at all.
Now that Hua Qian Zhi had appeared and defeated the strongest New Moon Sect in one fell swoop, shaking Liuxiang Xian Dao to its core, Wuhua Island had finally regained the initiative. Although Hua Guinian's cultivation was average, his ambition was not; this was the best time to seize control of Liuxiang Kingdom, how could he not be excited?
Hua Wanduo remained calm, showing no signs of joy or sorrow. In his distant gaze lay untold stories.

Hua Du was not a fool; he knew that Cai Shujun did not like him and that this marriage was merely a political maneuver aimed at suppressing the resistance of various factions. To him and Cai Shujun, they were nothing more than pawns in Hua Guinian's game.
Hua Guinian took his seat at the center and raised his hand to silence the noise. "Dear friends from Liuxiang Kingdom," he began, "three months ago, we faced the atrocities of Nine Dragon Pool together and defended the stability and honor of Liuxiang Kingdom with our blood and lives. Your bravery is unmatched, and Wuhua Island admires you greatly." He delivered a rather nonsensical speech.
"However," Hua Guinian continued, "during this time, there have been misunderstandings between New Moon Sect and Wuhua Island that led to unnecessary conflicts with casualties on both sides. Every time I think of it, my heart aches." It was common knowledge that New Moon Sect and Wuhua Island had fought fiercely over Qinglong Mountain; Hua Guinian wanted to gloss over it but could not hide it from others.
A total of eight sects were invited this time; apart from Wan Jian Sect, all of the Top Ten Factions involved in the Great War against Nine Dragon Pool were present. Everyone understood the significance of this gathering: it was merely to showcase New Moon Sect's humiliation. Therefore, only minor disciples came to represent their factions, just to give Wuhua Island some face. Wuhua Island did not expect prominent figures from each faction to attend; they would eventually deal with them regardless of their presence.
Chu Wushang sat with a grim expression at the left side of Hua Guinian's seat; these two rivals were about to become in-laws in just a moment.
Hua Guinian continued, "Chu Zhangmen is highly respected and has put aside past grievances to ease relations between our two sects. To express gratitude for Wuhua Island's assistance during the Nine Dragon Pool battle, we have decided to marry New Moon Sect disciple Cai Shujun to our own Hua Du. The two disciples have mutual feelings for each other; this union brings joy to all and creates a beautiful story for Liuxiang Xian Dao."
What was essentially an act of coercion was framed by Hua Guinian as a romantic tale. The representatives from various sects felt embarrassed; even Hua Du felt ashamed and couldn't lift his head. He had feelings for Cai Shujun but did not wish to win her over through such means; however, as the foremost disciple of Wuhua Island's younger generation, he had been forced away from his own love.
No one interrupted as some oblivious disciples from Black Wind Stronghold pulled out snacks and began munching without care.
Unfazed, Hua Guinian continued, "There's no better day than today; moreover, today is indeed an auspicious day. Together with Chu Zhangmen, we have decided that today shall be the wedding day for this couple. Wuhua Island and New Moon Sect shall unite as one." What unity? It was clear that they intended to swallow New Moon Sect whole.
A disciple from Eight Directions Cave spoke up: "Flower Island Master, why hasn't Cai Shujun appeared yet? We want to bless her." Other disciples chimed in with similar remarks.
"Yes, Flower Island Master, after all this time, where is Cai Shujun?"
"I'm not afraid for everyone to know, I've had a crush on Cai Daoyou for many years, but I've never dared to confess."
"What crush? I've written her so many love letters. To confess in person, I was severely injured by Huang Chang from the New Moon Sect, which is why I haven't advanced to Golden Core yet. My sacrifice has been tremendous."

The disciple who brought her retreated, and Hua Du approached Cai Shujun. Just as he was about to speak, he was met with a glare from her, causing him to involuntarily take a step back, which drew a round of suppressed laughter from the various sect cultivators. This glare had already made Cai Shujun's attitude clear, and Xu Feng felt a sweetness in his heart as he observed.
Hua Du's face flushed slightly as he whispered, " Cai Daoyou, I sincerely believe in my feelings for you; there is absolutely no..."
"Jealous!" Hua Guinian quickly interrupted upon hearing his weak words. He turned to Cai Shujun and said, "Shu Jun, from now on we will be one family. In front of the various sects of Liuxiang, you should exchange vows and complete your marriage. Elder Qiu is still waiting to celebrate your wedding." As soon as these words were spoken, Cai Shujun indeed froze momentarily; with Qiu Wuling still in their hands, whether they married or not was not up to her.
Chu Wushang spoke up: "Since it's a disciple's wedding, how can we proceed without the master present?" Chu Wushang had given up on Cai Shujun just to retrieve Qiu Wuling. Without Cai Shujun, they could always find another; without Qiu Wuling, the New Moon Sect would be finished.
Hua Guinian smiled and said, "Chu Zhangmen is right. Someone go invite Elder Qiu."
Another person flew into the arena; Qiu Wuling was brought in by two Golden Core Cultivators. Like Cai Shujun, his spiritual power had also been sealed, making him no different from an ordinary person at that moment.
Qiu Wuling seemed to age thirty years in an instant as he looked at Cai Shujun, his eyes filled with regret. Tears welled up in Cai Shujun's eyes as she began to cry.
Anyone can see that this master and disciple are parting ways here, with Cai Shujun sacrificing his pure body to ensure Qiu Wuling's safe escape. The regained Qiu Wuling will undoubtedly seek an opportunity to fight against Wuhua Island.

In truth, even if Hua Qian Zhi had not acted, a conflict between Wuhua Island and New Moon Sect would have eventually occurred. Qiu Wuling sighs lightly and turns to Chu Wushang, saying, "Let's go."
However, Hua Guinian interjects, "Elder Qiu, your beloved disciple is getting married. As a master, how can you leave first? It would be better to wait until the newlyweds finish their ceremony before departing."
Hua Guinian has a point, but Qiu Wuling becomes furious and retorts, "Do not go too far! If I die here, it will not reflect well on you either." The implication is clear: if he must watch his disciple suffer humiliation, he would rather die.
Cai Shujun bites her lip, resolute in her decision that as soon as Qiu Wuling leaves, she will find a way to seek death.
Hua Guinian finally shows his true colors and sneers, "I am keeping you here as a witness; what is wrong with that? If you wish to seek death, what does it have to do with me?"
Chu Wushang can no longer sit still; upon hearing this, he slams the table and looks ready to explode.
"Don't get angry! Don't get angry!" Xu Feng sees an opportunity and immediately jumps out to say, "I believe Flower Island Master is right; Guo Shan Sword Sect supports Flower Island Master." He steps forward as he speaks.
Upon hearing his supporter speak up for him, Hua Guinian's expression softens. This is precisely the support he needs to avoid being pressured by others and bullying Qiu Wuling. Although Xu Feng's interruption is somewhat rude, Hua Guinian decides not to hold it against him given his support for Wuhua Island.

The voice isn't loud but certainly catches Hua Wanduo's attention. He steps forward to separate Xu Feng from Hua Du while shouting angrily, "Who are you?!"
Though Hua Wanduo is understandably upset, he is still a moment too late. Xu Feng has come prepared; now that he is so close at hand, he will not let this opportunity slip away. With a dull thud, an unsuspecting Hua Du is knocked down before he even hits the ground. Xu Feng grabs him and unleashes the Wings of the Strange Dragon, soaring high into the air with the limp Hua Du in tow, evading Hua Wanduo's attack.
"That's him!"
The training ground on Wuhua Island erupted in chaos. As Xu Feng unleashed his Wings of the Strange Dragon, he could no longer hide his identity and decided to reveal his true form with a surge of spiritual energy.
In an instant, the winds on Wuhua Island stirred, and over a dozen Late Golden Core Cultivators rushed in, each riding their Flying Swords, surrounding Xu Feng completely.
Hua Wanduo shouted, "Xu Feng, this has nothing to do with you. Release Hua Du, and I will ensure you leave safely."
Xu Feng took out a ribbon and tied the unconscious Hua Du around his waist, resembling someone carrying an oversized wine gourd. With just a slight exertion of force, Hua Du's life would be at risk.
However, Xu Feng ignored Hua Wanduo and said to Hua Guinian, "I'll take him first, and we can discuss terms later."
