Everyone who could still fight stood up, preparing for the impending battle.
Footsteps approached, branches were pushed aside, and a weary Xu Feng appeared before everyone.
Seeing Xu Feng, Hua Du's expression relaxed, and he stepped back. Cai Shujun's gaze was complex; this loose cultivator who had forfeited in their semifinal match now played a crucial role in the Otherworldly Secret Realm, and all the cultivators owed him a life.
"Yan Daoyou," Cai Shujun proactively approached, "Your divine power is unmatched, I am ashamed to be inferior. Thank you for your help here." She performed a bow in accordance with modern etiquette.
With four entering and one coming out, the outcome was already clear.
Seeing Cai Shujun take the initiative to bow, everyone else also expressed their gratitude to Xu Feng, while Hua Du felt embarrassed, as if he had been slapped hard.
"There’s no need for everyone to be polite. Honestly, I’m doing this to save my own life. If I don’t kill them, they will kill me," Xu Feng returned the bows, busy and somewhat disoriented.
Hua Du steeled himself to explain what had happened during the battle to Xu Feng, then pointed to the two Nine Dragon Pool cultivators lying on the ground and said, "Since Yan Daoyou hasn’t returned yet, we didn’t touch those two’s belongings, fearing we might overlook some details." The meaning was clear: they were waiting for Xu Feng to return and divide the spoils.
Xu Feng had single-handedly faced three opponents and had unwittingly become the top expert in the Otherworldly Secret Realm. Everyone owed him a favor and felt it inappropriate to act unfairly regarding their critical interests.
"Open the storage bags; let’s divide everything equally," he suggested. This was the simplest way to distribute the loot. Hua Du agreed and walked over with Cai Shujun.
Yi Jiuzhou sat cross-legged on the ground; his back was wrapped with medicine. His injuries were not severe but required time for recovery due to internal damage from sword energy, leaving his complexion poor.
Xu Feng handed him a Sixth-Level Revitalizing Pill and said, "Take this."
The Sixth-Level Revitalizing Pill, worth no less than ten thousand spirit stones each, was presented before Yi Jiuzhou. He had just taken medicine but it certainly wasn’t a Sixth-Level Elixir.
"Thank you." Yi Jiuzhou accepted the pill without hesitation and swallowed it. The Qiangsheng Pill was a holy medicine for healing; a Foundation Establishment Period Cultivator could take a Sixth-Level Elixir without dilution—just swallow it directly.
Watching Yi Jiuzhou's complexion gradually turn rosy, Xu Feng finally got up to leave.
Hua Du had already divided the contents of two storage bags according to the number of participants in the battle into over ten portions, each roughly equal in value; even those who died in battle received their share of spirit stones.
The two from Nine Dragon Pool were financially strong; they had over a million spirit stones just between them, plus spirit swords, elixirs, and other miscellaneous items totaling no less than two million in value. Each person received tens of thousands along with some other objects, and soon everything was distributed.
The armor on both of them had been destroyed during the fight; however, two Superior Spirit Swords became the focus of everyone's attention. Hua Du and Cai Shujun voluntarily gave up competing for the swords; one was given to Xu Feng while the other was jointly purchased by the two from Black Wind Stronghold.
Xu Feng did not refuse and accepted the spirit sword. His decisive role in this battle made it a consensus that he should take one; if he didn’t, it would only cause unease among the others.
Xu Feng handed the sword over to Yi Jiuzhou, who was taken aback. He had just received a Sixth-Level Revitalizing Pill from Xu Feng and was already very grateful. Receiving a sword on top of that felt like too much reward for his efforts. However, seeing Xu Feng's insistence, he accepted it.
Yi Jiuzhou risked his life to strike a blow, creating an opportunity for Cai Shujun to isolate the enemy, which significantly influenced the entire battle situation. Everyone witnessed this and felt admiration for Yi Jiuzhou. Since Xu Feng had survived a one-against-three confrontation, it was only natural for him to not come out empty-handed; giving Yi Jiuzhou a Superior Spirit Sword was merely a small gesture.
The Identity Jade Tablets of the Nine Dragon Pool were taken back by Hua Du and Cai Shujun. These two had special identities, and Hua Guinian and Chu Wushang would surely be able to discern their significance.
"Yan Daoyou, the It Mountain Temple has been opened; let’s go in now," Hua Du reminded.
This battle lasted nearly two hours. Due to Xu Feng's absence, no one entered the It Mountain Temple after it opened. According to past experiences, the It Mountain Temple would close when the sun reached its zenith at noon, sealing off the entire Otherworldly Secret Realm once again.
Estimating the time, there was less than an hour left for everyone in the It Mountain Temple.
The stone door of the It Mountain Temple automatically moved aside, and the electric light at the entrance calmed down. The entire temple was in a state of tranquility and peace.
As everyone entered the temple, an immense pressure suddenly enveloped them, making it hard for them to breathe. The injured Jiang Quan and Duan Shu were even forced to spit blood under this pressure. Cai Shujun quickly instructed Huang Chang to take both of them outside. Yi Jiuzhou managed to hold on for a while but ultimately had to exit the temple due to his severe injuries.
Inside the temple, radiant light filled the space—bright yet not blinding. The walls had no corners, and there were no supporting pillars in the center; the entire temple was carved from a massive piece of jade-like stone.
The spiritual energy within was abundant, invigorating those who breathed it in. If not for an invisible pressure present, cultivating here would yield remarkable results and rapid progress.
The central hall was empty except for a mountain-shaped white jade pedestal on the right side. A dragon as thick as a bowl—the Azure Green Dragon—emerged from the jade stone, coiling around the stone mountain. The dragon appeared lively and poised to leap out at any moment. Its head was fierce with bared fangs and claws, and something seemed ready to drop from its mouth but remained suspended in mid-air.
Directly beneath the dragon's head was a jade basin about the size of a bucket. The basin sparkled with vibrant green liquid filled with rich Spiritual Energy.
"It Mountain Spring!"
Everyone recognized this basin of emerald liquid at once. According to records, It Mountain Spring flowed from the mouth of this coiled Azure Dragon, which served as the Spiritual Vein's dragon head in the Otherworldly Secret Realm. The Azure Dragon transformed Spiritual Energy into liquid form that flowed into the Jade Basin below, forming It Mountain Spring.
The glow from the dragon's mouth represented condensed It Mountain Spring; however, it took ten years to form just one drop, which explained why it had yet to fall. The jade basin contained a full decade's worth of reserves.
While cultivating with spirit stones required effort to extract and absorb energy, It Mountain Spring—liquefied Spiritual Energy—could be consumed directly with effects far superior to spirit stones. No wonder various sects sought after It Mountain Spring so desperately that they resorted to violence among their disciples within the Otherworldly Secret Realm just to monopolize it.
Hua Du said seriously, "It takes ten years to generate a single drop of It Mountain Spring, and in ten years, there are only about three hundred sixty drops. According to past practices, we will distribute it based on the number of people entering the It Mountain Temple." With that, he took out a spoon-shaped measuring device he had prepared in advance.
Hua Du placed the spoon into the spiritual spring of the Jade Basin and said, "One spoon here equals ten drops, and there are scales on the spoon for accurate measurement. It Mountain Spring is incredibly precious and can only be measured in drops."
This method of distribution has been used for many years. Before entering, the elders of each sect informed their disciples, but only the Loose Cultivator Alliance secretly kept quiet about this matter.
Xu Feng glanced at the two disciples from Black Wind Stronghold, who lowered their heads in response.
Currently, there are a total of sixteen people from various sects. Jiang Quan from New Moon Sect has been severely injured and is not included in the distribution. The remaining fifteen will share three hundred sixty drops of It Mountain Spring, meaning each person can receive twenty-four drops.
"Each person gets twenty-four drops; the remainder will go to Yan Daoyou," Hua Du proposed as the final discussion result. Such benefits were usually taken by Wuhua Island in the past, but now with Xu Feng's unexpected emergence, things have changed significantly.
No one objected. Hua Du lifted the spoon and began distributing it one by one. Twenty-four drops is actually a small amount; each sect had prepared jade bottles in advance to hold the spiritual liquid.
Before long, the distribution was completed, and everyone received their twenty-four drops of It Mountain Spring. There were less than ten drops left in the Jade Basin, which Hua Du gave entirely to Xu Feng.
