"Working? Is this what you call work?" Chen Mo laughed as if he had heard a funny joke, his tone full of sarcasm. "Who was it that gave up their career for the family? Who stayed home doing laundry and cooking? Now you're out here trying to show off online..."
"Chen Mo!" Lin Wan suddenly stood up, cutting off Chen Mo mid-sentence as she flung her mouse onto the floor.
The Live Streaming room fell silent instantly; everyone was taken aback by Lin Wan's sudden outburst, and the chat paused for several seconds.
Chen Mo looked at Lin Wan, a hint of panic flashing in his eyes, but it was quickly masked. He chuckled lightly, his tone filled with disdain, "What? Did I say something wrong? Aren't you doing all this for money? I can give it to you, so why bother..."

The crisp sound of a slap echoed in the Live Streaming room as Chen Mo covered his face, staring at Lin Wan in disbelief.
"Chen Mo, you disgust me!" Lin Wan was furious, pointing towards the door and saying sharply, "Get out! You're not welcome here!"
Chen Mo wanted to say something more, but seeing Lin Wan's angry gaze and the barrage of "Get out" flooding the Live Streaming room, he ultimately said nothing and left in shame.
