When Zifeng came back to her senses, she realized that the moment had only been an Illusion.
He had not expected that just half a month could turn the Evil Spirit into a half-demon, filled with such strong resentment. The first time, he remained completely unmoved; he knew it was an Illusion.

Xia Xiaoyu was still at Cherry Blossom University, completely unaware of what had happened last night. She hadn't seen Zifeng all night.

She thought to herself with relief that the answer to the situation had been found, even though it still left her with a sense of unreality. But she continued to think that it was all in the past, and from now on, she could live a normal life.
She had never felt so relieved; after the layer of gloom in her heart dissipated, a rare radiant smile appeared on her face.
However, in the afternoon, a phone call from Zifeng once again brought a chill over her.
On the call, Zifeng didn't say much; she only asked Xia Xiaoyu to come to her house in the afternoon. But from Zifeng's tone, Xia Xiaoyu faintly sensed an indescribable heaviness.
She could sense that something big was about to happen—
The atmosphere was quite oppressive, and that brilliant smile had faded away with Zifeng's phone call, leaving Xia Xiaoyu feeling a level of anxiety she had never experienced before.
The pressure was suffocating!
With a restless heart, Xia Xiaoyu spent a long four or five hours waiting. It was only two in the afternoon, but she couldn't wait any longer and rushed to Zifeng's house.
She was desperate to know what had happened last night and what Zifeng's purpose was in calling her.
Her heart had never felt this frantic; even when facing all her fears, she had never felt such urgency.
By three in the afternoon, she arrived at Zifeng's house. As before, Xu Qian and Zifeng were waiting in the living room, sitting quietly on the sofa without speaking. The atmosphere was eerily silent.
"What’s wrong with you two?"
Xia Xiaoyu glanced at their gloomy faces and couldn't help but ask.
The unease in her heart intensified.
After a moment of silence, Xu Qian looked up at Xia Xiaoyu but said nothing, lowering his gaze again.
"Last night, she escaped!"
Zifeng spoke calmly, but there was a hint of apology directed at Xia Xiaoyu.
"She escaped!" Xia Xiaoyu frowned and then questioned, "How could she escape?"
"She broke the restraints I set up. The Mirror shattered, and she escaped through the broken shards of the Mirror!"
Zifeng did not mention that it was her illusion that caused her to momentarily lose focus. It wasn't out of fear of embarrassment; rather, he simply didn't want to bring it up.
"I'm sorry!"
Zifeng's expression was dim and colorless. Indeed, last night, Xia Xiaoyu had risked her life to draw her out. Zifeng initially thought she wouldn't be able to do it, but she performed admirably. However, Zifeng had failed! This was an opportunity earned at the cost of her life, yet she had let it slip away.
"What are you doing?"
Xia Xiaoyu felt a jolt in her heart but quickly relaxed. Although she felt heavy-hearted, she knew that Zifeng must have encountered unexpected trouble along the way. Besides, this matter was never their responsibility, and she had no reason to blame them.
"What should we do now? Should I try to draw her out again tonight?"
Despite being terrified, Xia Xiaoyu forced herself to ask.
"No need!"
Zifeng shook her head and then looked directly at Xia Xiaoyu as she said, "You don't need to draw her out. Tonight, she will come looking for you!"
Zifeng knew that the weather would change by nightfall. When the moon rose, it would transform. Today, the moon was not supposed to be full; however, the Evil Sun would cause a full moon to appear!
This was an opportunity for the vengeful spirit Cheng Sha, and it was also her chance. She would definitely come looking for Xia Xiaoyu!
