After a long while, she finally gathered her courage and pushed with all her strength against the heavy lid above her. It was heavy, but driven by her stubborn will, she summoned an unprecedented amount of strength.
However, when Xia Xiaoyu stood up and looked outside, her scalp went numb.
The ghostly woman dressed in Qing Dynasty clothing was surrounded by hundreds of people—no, to be precise, they were also ghosts—writhing together as they fought. They spilled from the concrete path into the forest, their wails and the ferocity of their struggle made Xia Xiaoyu feel as if her scalp were about to explode.

Seeing such a scene, Xia Xiaoyu's heels began to tremble; it was too terrifying...
Xia Xiaoyu immediately took out her phone and dialed Zifeng's number.
"I’m in trouble, please come save me..." Xia Xiaoyu was on the verge of tears. She had encountered many frightening situations before, but witnessing the chaotic battle among the ghosts left her pale with fear.
"Where are you..."
On the other end of the line, Zifeng's heavy voice came through.
Before Xia Xiaoyu could respond, an elderly voice suddenly rang out behind her.
"At Ouhai Cemetery..."
The voice came so suddenly that Xia Xiaoyu dropped her phone in shock and quickly turned around.
At that moment, two elderly people appeared behind her. The man looked to be in his sixties or seventies, dressed in formal military attire, while the woman seemed to be his wife, of similar age.
However, Xia Xiaoyu suddenly realized something; she could tell that these two were not human at all...
"Little girl, you don’t need to be afraid; we won’t harm you..."
The Old Woman spoke kindly, but her voice sent shivers down Xia Xiaoyu's spine.
"What happened?"
Xia Xiaoyu was completely bewildered and asked in confusion.
"At first, that woman from the Qing Dynasty wanted to harm you, so I called some Neighbors to drive her away..." the Old Woman continued to smile.
"Neighbors?" Xia Xiaoyu felt a chill again as she vaguely saw the tombstones scattered across the mountain.
Could it be that they are their Neighbors!
