Xia Xiaoyu shook her head, her expression filled with fear. "I don't know. Last night I went to Qingshui Village. It was under maintenance outside, so I entered the forest alone. I got lost in there, and it started to rain heavily. The forest looked dark and shadowy, and I was so scared. Then I heard a coughing sound, so I ran away. I heard the sound of a vehicle and found it, but in my panic, I forgot everything. I didn't even think that the car was far away, but suddenly it was right there. I got in, and then I arrived at Qingshui Village. After that, I went into the Haunted House, and there were ghosts inside..."
"This situation is very concerning. Don't panic; try to stay calm," Xu Qian said, noticing Xia Xiaoyu's emotional turmoil and quickly intervening.
"I'm scared. I'm really scared..."
Xia Xiaoyu's mind flashed back to last night in the Haunted House at Qingshui Village, where three Evil Spirits stared at her menacingly. The indescribable fear she felt then still sent shivers down her spine.
"Just sleep for a bit; you'll feel better," Zifeng said as he grasped Xia Xiaoyu's trembling shoulders and softly murmured in front of her. A glimmer of blue light flashed in his eyes, and Xia Xiaoyu's shaking gradually calmed down as Xu Qian supported her, allowing her to slowly relax.
"How is she? Is she okay? She doesn't seem well..." Seeing Xia Xiaoyu fall asleep again, her peaceful face reminded Xu Qian of someone dear to him.
"I've temporarily soothed her emotions, but this isn't a long-term solution. She needs to overcome her fears on her own," Zifeng sighed. Xia Xiaoyu's current state was not good.
"What do you think about what she said?" Xu Qian shifted his gaze to Zifeng and asked curiously.
"Yesterday, if the day could be turned back, or if she could return when entering the forest, then it wouldn't have happened..." Zifeng's voice was calm, but those eyes were quietly gazing at the sleeping face that bore a hint of cuteness.
"But it was daytime then; how could anything come out...?" Xu Qian asked in surprise.
"It was heaven giving an opportunity. The weather started changing in the afternoon, with dark clouds gathering. Therefore, some things could come out. As for her getting lost, that should be because she was distracted while walking, and then something in the shadows could easily mislead this light-hearted woman. The series of events that followed were all part of her falling into the trap. So, something was indeed paying attention to her..." Zifeng naturally did not believe that Xia Xiaoyu would suddenly get lost in the forest and that after walking for such a long time, she still couldn't find her way out. Clearly, something was causing trouble in the dark.

Xu Qian felt grateful that he had been at the edge of town last night due to a minor issue and was heading towards Qingshui Village. Otherwise, if it had been any later, Xia Xiaoyu would have been in serious danger. And it was fortunate that he was on a motorcycle.
