Xia Xiaoyu bid farewell to Zifeng and walked out of the restaurant alone, her heart in turmoil. She felt frustrated and troubled, completely unsure of what to do next. However, as she entered the Office Building on campus, her homeroom teacher, Li Hongmei, brought her some shocking news.
When Xia Xiaoyu arrived at the Office Building, she happened to run into Li Hongmei.
"Hello, Teacher," Xia Xiaoyu greeted Li Hongmei casually.
"I was just about to go to your dorm to find you," Li Hongmei said with a beaming smile as she saw Xia Xiaoyu approach. She then took out her phone from her black bag. "Here, your phone."
"Teacher, did you find out anything?" Xia Xiaoyu asked as she took the phone and smiled.
"Yes, I asked the guidance counselor to check. These are all graduates from four years ago; they graduated a year ago. However, it seems that two of the students didn't graduate normally," Li Hongmei said, pausing for a moment before looking at Xia Xiaoyu. "One of them is named Guan Tingting, who is currently in a psychiatric hospital. Her family is quite poor, and it seems she suffered a shock during her time at university that caused her memory loss. The university has been providing her with financial support periodically since then."
"Memory loss?"
Xia Xiaoyu's eyes widened, especially upon hearing that it happened at university. Was there some hidden secret behind this?
"Teacher, do you know which psychiatric hospital she's in?"
Xia Xiaoyu asked tentatively, feeling anxious that Li Hongmei might misunderstand her. After all, asking such questions out of the blue would seem strange to anyone.
Indeed, Li Hongmei first looked at Xia Xiaoyu with confusion, but after seeing that there seemed to be no hidden meaning in Xia Xiaoyu's eyes, she paused for a moment before speaking, "It's at the Second Hospital..."

But then Xia Xiaoyu quickly realized that Wang Xiaojia was a student from four years ago; how could she still be at the university?
At that moment, Xia Xiaoyu understood that the Wang Xiaojia she had seen was the girl who had disappeared four years ago.
"But she disappeared; her family should have come looking for her..."
Xia Xiaoyu was even more puzzled. After all, a living person going missing would definitely prompt their parents to come to the university to search for them.
"I'm not too sure about that, but the head teacher said her parents have never come to the university..."
