Xia Xiaoyu was secretly astonished.
"Don't overthink it. Let's find a quiet place and see what has been recorded inside," Zifeng said, not responding to Xia Xiaoyu's words, and quickly walked ahead.
Not far from Cherry Blossom University, in a small restaurant, Zifeng and Xia Xiaoyu found a secluded spot. Since it wasn't mealtime yet, they were the only two customers inside.
"How is it? Open it up and take a look," Xia Xiaoyu urged, pushing the juice aside.
"Okay..." Zifeng replied and opened Xu Ke's diary.
There were quite a few entries from the previous year, detailing places visited and happy events encountered. This made Xia Xiaoyu feel a bit embarrassed, as she never used diaries to pass the time.
As she flipped through the pages, Xia Xiaoyu felt increasingly anxious. She was worried that she wouldn't find any entries from the days leading up to Xu Ke's incident. Fortunately, her fears were unfounded. After painstakingly turning to the last dozen pages, she reached February 4th.
On February 6th, Zifeng paused his finger as he turned to the next page.

The weather today isn't great, and I'm feeling a bit down. I saw him and her holding hands on the street, both of them looking very happy. It made my heart ache, but I know that the two of us are impossible. I really wanted to go up and tell him personally, but I held myself back...
At this point, Xia Xiaoyu seemed to sense the bitterness that Xu Ke felt while writing this diary. The "he" that Xu Ke mentioned must be the boy she likes, together with another girl...
Zifeng paused briefly before turning to the next page.

The sky is dark and heavy, as if a storm is about to break, and my mood is just as terrible. I don't know how to describe myself; I've been feeling really down lately for no apparent reason. Last night around eleven, I couldn't sleep because of him, constantly thinking about him. I kept telling myself that I was overthinking and shouldn't dwell on these thoughts, but I still can't forget him. At midnight, I went to the bathroom, and when I turned around to come out, I thought I saw a woman appear in the bathroom mirror. She was smiling, and it scared me a bit. But when I looked closely, there was nothing there. I've been feeling dazed these past few days; maybe I'm just seeing things...
When Xia Xiaoyu read this part, her heart skipped a beat. The woman that Xu Ke mentioned in the mirror must be related to the deaths of Lin Xi and Lan Ling...

There isn't much worth recording today. However, something strange happened yesterday. At around two in the afternoon, I suddenly fell asleep for no reason at all. I had a terrible dream. I dreamt again of the woman who appeared in the mirror the other day; she told me that she would come to find me in seven days. I was terrified and woke up. I thought to myself that dreams are perhaps just dreams...
A few short sentences made Xia Xiaoyu tremble slightly, and even the calm Zifeng showed a change in expression, as both of them recalled something the woman inside had said.
Seven days?
It was indeed seven days. Before Lin Xi died, she had also seen the woman leaning against the window in the Old School Warehouse, who said she would come to find her after seven days. Seven days later, she died...
Now Xia Xiaoyu was certain that their deaths were definitely suspicious... and it was related to that woman...
But who was that woman? What was going on?
