"Let's go, or I'll call security..."
The Seductive Woman continued, then gracefully walked past Xia Xiaoyu.
"What a piece of work..."
Xia Xiaoyu felt a bit frustrated.
"Hi..."
Just when she was feeling disheartened, Xia Xiaoyu saw Zifeng stepping in personally.
He walked up to the Seductive Woman, greeting her in a friendly manner. With a laid-back and rogue-like demeanor, his sharp features and those dark, wise eyes seemed to shine like a light. With a faint smile, he stood there naturally, like a picturesque scene that dimmed everything around him.
Indeed, even with his back turned to her, Xia Xiaoyu felt as if she could see the sparkles of admiration in the Seductive Woman's eyes at the sight of Zifeng's stunningly handsome face and that slightly mischievous smile.
"Hi..."
The Seductive Woman's voice trembled, not out of fear but excitement. What made Xia Xiaoyu even more exasperated was how her tone did a complete 180; from indifference to being overly sweet under Zifeng's gaze. Coupled with his strikingly handsome face that could make gods and men alike envious, the Seductive Woman was instantly captivated and transformed into a demure figure, her tone becoming somewhat clingy.
"Could you do me a favor?"
Although Zifeng's tone carried a hint of pleading, Xia Xiaoyu still couldn't detect any sense of humility in it; instead, it exuded pride and an air of superiority.
But some women are just "shameless," like the one in front of him. She had been indifferent when he complimented her, but under Zifeng's persistent questioning, she immediately surrendered.
"Yes, of course. What do you need?"
The Seductive Woman had been completely conquered or bewitched by Zifeng. Seeing the determination in her tone, it seemed she wouldn't mind offering herself.
"The world is going downhill..."
Xia Xiaoyu couldn't help but sigh. In front of the handsome guy, that Seductive Woman could still pretend to be so understanding. It seemed that it wasn't Zifeng pursuing her, but rather she was the one pursuing Zifeng.
"It's about Xu Ke..."
Zifeng's tone remained calm; she was very natural.
"About Xu Ke..."
The Seductive Woman paused for a moment and then looked back at Xia Xiaoyu.
She seemed a bit hesitant, as if she was contemplating something, but under Zifeng's captivating gaze, she immediately lost her composure.
"I used to share a dorm with her?"
The Seductive Woman spoke somewhat dimly, saying it softly.
"Ah..."
Now, Xia Xiaoyu was a bit surprised.
"Did I finally ask the right person?"
"Can you tell me what happened?"
Zifeng's eyes sparkled with a hint of intrigue as she looked at the Seductive Woman, her gaze briefly shifting before returning to normal.
"You don't seem to be her friends, do you?"
The Seductive Woman questioned, having noticed Zifeng's demeanor. The charm and aura she possessed were clearly beyond what Xu Ke had back then.
"Um..."
Zifeng did not hide the truth.
The Seductive Woman seemed surprised by Zifeng's admission, but after a moment, she gathered her thoughts and began to share what she knew.
"I think I remember it was on February 7th when Xu Ke was talking in the dormitory. She mentioned hearing some kind of sound, but I don't know the specifics. However, the next day, she didn't seem well; her complexion was off. Sometimes when people have insomnia or stay up late, they look like that, so we didn't pay much attention. If there was a day of significant change, it would probably be February 13th. That night, she kept saying she felt dizzy, and for several nights after that, she mumbled strange things. Even when we woke her up, we couldn't understand what she was saying... And..."
At this point, Zifeng interrupted her and asked, "What was she saying? Did you not understand anything at all, or could you guess what it meant?"
Zifeng knew very well that Xu Ke's sleep talking might be related to her death...
