"By the way, you called for me. Is there something you need?"
He had already spoken as he stepped out of the room.
"Um, let me introduce myself first. My name is Xia Xiaoyu, and I'm a student at Cherry Blossom University. May I ask how to address you?"
Talking to this guy gave Xia Xiaoyu an inexplicable pressure, making him hesitant to act out.
"Zifeng."
He replied calmly with just two words.
Zifeng, what a strange name?
Xia Xiaoyu thought for a moment and then continued, "Um, Xu Qian asked me to find you..."
"Are you looking for me to go shopping or just to chat?" Zifeng raised an eyebrow. Hearing Xu Qian's name, he knew trouble was coming...
"No, I've run into some trouble."
Xia Xiaoyu frowned slightly and then briefly explained the strange occurrences he had encountered.
"Alright, no need to say more. I actually want to help you, but I can't. I usually study some feng shui and secret techniques, like Yin Yang and Bagua, but I'm not that impressive. If you want me to help you deal with the ghost you mentioned, I think I'm powerless."

Zifeng smiled, but the smile felt distant and unapproachable.
"Are you really not going to help me?"

As she reached the door and was about to step out of the courtyard, Xia Xiaoyu's phone rang. It was Xu Qian calling.
"Hello!"
Xia Xiaoyu sounded somewhat displeased, knowing that it would have been better if he hadn’t called at all.
"How's it going? Did you go find Zifeng?" Xu Qian asked tentatively. "You haven't gone yet, have you? He's my friend who can communicate with spirits!"
"I didn't see your spirit-communicating friend; I only saw an annoying guy..." As she mentioned Zifeng, Xia Xiaoyu instantly transformed from being half-dead to furious.
"It seems you've already met him..."
"Just came out of his place!"
"He refused to help you, didn't he?"

"Hey, can we be reasonable here? I told you he's hard to deal with! But he's so handsome; girls seem to like him."

"Xu Qian!"

Xu Qian said firmly.
"I'm not going."

Xu Qian understood Xia Xiaoyu's personality; her childishness was understandable, and he naturally had his ways.
Sure enough, Xia Xiaoyu fell silent.

After saying that, Xu Qian hung up the phone.
