Lin Xi and Xia Xiaoyu were somewhat afraid. The surroundings were desolate, and they chose to walk towards the empty streets.
At six o'clock, the gates of the University opened, and Xia Xiaoyu and Lin Xi entered the University on time, heading straight for their dormitory.
The people in the dormitory had not yet woken up. Lin Xi and Xia Xiaoyu did not say much, recalling the series of terrifying events they had encountered the previous night.

When Xia Xiaoyu heard the bad news, she knew that this was far from over; it was just the beginning! More terrifying and shocking events awaited her.
The news came on Wednesday afternoon of the second week.
Originally, on Monday, Lin Xi had personally called to let them take a leave. She wasn't feeling well, and since Lin Xi's father was a doctor, Xia Xiaoyu and the others didn't think much of it and didn't worry.
On Wednesday afternoon, Tang Jiaying was still reading on her phone, while Liu Feifei, Chen Mumu, Tian Xiaojing, and Zhang Li were all busy with their own phones and computers.
Surin was not in the dormitory, and everyone didn't pay much attention to this mysterious figure.
Feeling bored, Xia Xiaoyu thought of Lin Xi. She had only heard that Lin Xi had a bit of a cold and dizziness, but after not showing up at the university for two consecutive days, as her roommate and a good friend, she should check in on her.

Even Liu Feifei was left speechless. Although she and Lin Xi didn't have a good relationship, they were roommates and friends from high school. After hearing the news, she too found it hard to accept.

Their minds couldn't process it; each of them wore an expression of shock and disbelief.
After more than ten minutes, Xia Xiaoyu was the first to react. She immediately grabbed her bag and phone and went straight to Lin Xi's house.
Following closely behind were Chen Mumu, Tian Xiaojing, Zhang Li, and Tang Jiaying. Liu Feifei hesitated for a moment but ultimately decided to go as well.
Even though they had argued, facing sudden death was still unimaginable. She felt it was necessary to check on Lin Xi, whether as a roommate or a friend.
