The atmosphere in the dorm became more relaxed and pleasant during the conversation among the four people. Although Jingxuan does not often lead the conversation, she is very willing to listen on the side and occasionally interject with relevant remarks. Xiao Ri and Cai Ying also joined the discussion, with Xiao Ri interjecting jokes from time to time, while Cai Ying responded more with her characteristic humor and composure. Several others heard this and expressed their agreement, saying that their own stomachs were starting to rumble. Among them, Cai Ying teasingly said to Xiao Ri, "You better eat less, or you'll end up getting fat and then no one will want you!" Her tone was playful, and there was a hint of a smile in her eyes.
Upon hearing this, Xiao Ri immediately pretended to be angry, raised her fist as if to hit Cai Ying, and retorted, "Oh, just you wait, Cai Ying! Ruoxi, Jingxuan, you two go ahead to the cafeteria. I have someone to deal with here." Her tone was filled with humor and provocation.
Ruoxi looked at the two of them playing around, hooked Jingxuan's shoulder and said with a smile, "Let's not bother with these two fools! The two of us beautiful ladies will go to the cafeteria first!" Her voice was filled with joy and anticipation.
Jingxuan nodded gently, smiling in agreement. She picked up her wallet and walked out of the dormitory with Ruoxi, heading towards the direction of the student cafeteria. Inside the dormitory, Xiao Ri and Cai Ying were still playing around, their laughter and lively voices echoing in the hallway.
Jingxuan and Ruoxi walked on the campus path, surrounded by a quiet and comfortable environment. The campus at night was slightly cool, with leaves swaying gently in the breeze and lights shining on the path, guiding their steps. They chatted and laughed as they walked towards the student cafeteria, looking forward to a delicious dinner.
Ruoxi and Jingxuan walked along the campus path, chatting and laughing. The night breeze was slightly cool, and their figures stretched under the streetlights. Suddenly, Ruoxi put on a mysterious expression and curiously asked, "Hey! Jingxuan, how come you didn't get a boyfriend during the summer vacation?"
Jingxuan couldn't help but smile and shake his head in response to the question, "No, not really. I mainly rested at home this summer and didn't go out much."
Ruoxi put on a dramatic disappointed expression and half-jokingly said, "Oh my goodness! What a waste of your great figure and beautiful face. If only I were a man..." She deliberately let out an exaggerated and slightly vulgar laugh, causing Jingxuan to burst into laughter as well.
After laughing, Jingxuan said softly, "These things depend on fate. At this stage, I don't particularly want to have a boyfriend, and I haven't met anyone I particularly like."
Ruoxi responded with a playful and relaxed tone, "Oh~ Our Jingxuan princess hasn't set her eyes on anyone yet? Your standards are so high!"
As they walked along the road, the two of them continued to chat, occasionally bursting into laughter and playful banter. When they arrived at the brightly lit student cafeteria where people were gathered, the atmosphere became even more relaxed and cheerful. Inside the cafeteria, students were bustling about, some sitting, some standing, chatting and enjoying the evening and the food.
Jingxuan and Ruoxi weaved through the crowd in the student cafeteria, looking for a place to sit. The atmosphere inside the cafeteria was lively, with students either sitting together chatting loudly or focusing on their food alone. As they walked, they examined the various food stalls, feeling excited by the wide array of choices.
Ruoxi walked and called out the names of the stalls: "Fried rice, dumplings, spaghetti, sandwiches, oden, omelette rice... Jingxuan, what do you want to eat?" Her voice revealed anticipation and curiosity.
Jingxuan listened and shrugged slightly, indicating that she hadn't decided yet. Her eyes wandered between the stalls, considering various possible choices.
At that moment, they noticed that the people at a table were preparing to leave. They immediately quickened their pace and arrived at the table just before other students looking for seats. After finding their seats, they also saved a few spots for Cai Ying and Xiao Ri.
Once seated, the two of them put down their backpacks and began carefully studying the various delicacies offered by the restaurant. The student cafeteria offered a wide variety of choices, from traditional Chinese cuisine to Western fast food, leaving nothing to be desired and making one's mouth water.
"I feel like having something light, maybe a sandwich?" Jingxuan suggested, her eyes lingering on the sandwich stall.
"Sure, then I'll have some fried rice, it smells so good!" Ruoxi exclaimed, her gaze fixed on the fried rice stall.
Two people got up and went to their chosen stalls to order, then returned to the table with delicious dinner. On this lively evening, they enjoyed the food and relaxed conversation, looking forward to the arrival of Cai Ying and Xiao Ri.
