Mo Li walked into the Study without turning on the lights and made her way to the back row of bookshelves, where she sat down.
Since moving into Xiao Residence, whenever she wanted some quiet time alone, she often chose this corner to hide.
This was because the last two rows of bookshelves held ancient books that had never been touched.

"Why are you here too?"

Xiao Jingxuan snapped the book shut and tossed it onto the table.
"Can't you see how much Xiao Ran likes Mo Li?"

Lin Caijing pondered for a moment before suddenly changing the subject.
With a cold smile, she said, "I know why you're so eager to get Mo Li married to Xiao Ran; it's because of He Xiaofan."
Mo Li sat quietly in the darkness.
