"Hey! Kid! Who are you?" The general pointed his spear at me and shouted sternly.
"I... I'm just a kid..." I said, my voice trembling.
"A kid?" The general sneered and said, "Then how did you end up here? This is our military stronghold; you can't just wander in!"
"I... I came here by accident..." I replied.
"Came here by accident?" The general scoffed, "Do you think I'll believe that? I see you're a spy!"
"I'm not a spy! I really just came here by accident!" I exclaimed loudly.
"Whether you're a spy or not will be determined when we return to the royal city and see the king!" the general said.
After saying this, he waved his hand, and the soldiers rushed forward. Two of them pulled out a black bag and placed it over my head, then they took me and Da Huang away.
Da Huang and I were led away from the lakeside by the soldiers, walking along a rugged mountain path.
The soldiers moved quickly, their pace so fast that I estimated they could cover twenty to thirty miles in an hour.
They took Da Huang and me over mountains and rivers, enduring hardships along the way, and after three days, we finally reached our destination—Stone Oven Kingdom.
Stone Oven Kingdom is a small country located deep in the Himalayas, surrounded by mountains on all sides with extremely rugged terrain. Except for the lower peaks in the west, the other three sides are towering snow-capped mountains.
The capital of Stone Oven Kingdom is called Stone Castle, situated on a plain, and it is a fortress built from massive stones.
After bringing Da Huang and me to Stone Castle, the army locked us in a room before leaving.
The room was very dark, with hardly any light. I fumbled around in the darkness for a long time before finally finding Da Huang.
"Da Huang, are you okay?" I asked with concern.
"Ugh..." Da Huang let out a low whimper in response.
I hugged Da Huang's neck, feeling very heavy-hearted.
We were now trapped in this dreadful place, unsure of how those people would treat us.
If we were really treated as spies, it would be disastrous for us...
The more I thought about it, the more scared I became, and I couldn't help but cry.
Thus, I spent a long night filled with fear and anxiety.
The next morning, the door suddenly opened, and several soldiers walked in to take Da Huang and me outside.
The sunlight outside was blinding, and it took me a long time to adjust. I looked around and realized I was in a square, where many soldiers were training, and a crowd of people stood watching. Among those people, there was a man dressed in a black robe and wearing a leather hat; he must be the king of the Stone Oven Kingdom.
I and Da Huang were brought before the king by the soldiers. The king glanced at me and asked in a commanding voice, "Who are you? Why have you come here?"
I replied, "I am just a child; I accidentally ended up here..."
"Accidentally ended up here?" The king laughed heartily and said, "Who do you think you're fooling? This place is hundreds of kilometers away from your country. How could a child like you possibly come here?"
I insisted, "What I'm saying is true!"
"Alright then," the king said, "you claim you arrived here by accident. Tell me how you accidentally got here."
