I recounted the entire process of discovering the marriage certificate.

My words were resolute and powerful, and tears instantly welled up in Shalolo's eyes.
"I don't want to break up. You know I love you. Why do you want to separate from me? Have you fallen for someone else?!"
It was ridiculous; my fiancée had married someone else and still had the audacity to question whether I had fallen for someone else.

After saying that, I stood up to leave, but Shalolo tightly grasped my hand and cried out loudly, "You were the one who said you wanted to be in a lifelong relationship with me, that it didn't matter if we didn't get a marriage certificate or hold a wedding.
