"You can only buy raw stones and jade there through a middleman," Yue Hui continued. She wanted to get to know Jiang Chen better, so she naturally had to show her sincerity by sharing everything she knew.

"But sir, that middleman is not someone to be trifled with; he's a ruthless character. You'd better not offend him when you meet him next time," Yue Hui kindly reminded.
"I understand," Jiang Chen replied with a faint smile.
Seeing Jiang Chen's calm demeanor made Yue Hui a bit worried, but she decided not to say anything more. They exchanged contact information before she left.
"Xiao Chen, are you really going to Myanmar next month?" Old Qin asked, puzzled about why Jiang Chen was so interested in jade. Was it because of the potential profit? After all, he had helped Old Qin make billions tonight.

Behind Old Qin, He Chungwai was watching the two brothers with sharp eyes. Having heard that they also came from a special forces unit, He Chungwai felt a competitive urge.

"Little Dragon, Little Tiger, which one of you will escort Shasha?" Old Qin shifted the topic. He knew that people from special forces tended to be competitive and wouldn't back down without a contest unless he prevented them from having that opportunity—at least not in his home.
"I'll let my brother Little Tiger go! I have some business matters to attend to at home," Li Huailong replied, with Li Huaihu nodding beside him. It seemed they had already discussed this beforehand.
Old Qin looked at Li Huaihu. "Alright then! Little Tiger, since you'll be escorting her, let me explain the arrangements. We will depart on the morning of September 1st by plane; it's fast and safe! After Shasha is settled at school, you can leave. How does that sound?"
Li Huaihu agreed. "Old Qin, where do Shasha's parents work?" he asked a question Jiang Chen had been wanting to ask.
As soon as he asked this question, Old Qin, Qin Huansha, and He Chungwai's expressions turned somber. Jiang Chen's heart sank: could it be that Qin Huansha's parents had really passed away?
"Chungwai, why don't you tell them?" Unexpectedly, Old Qin asked He Chungwai to speak.
"Okay," He Chungwai replied.
It turned out that Qin Huansha's father, Qin Huarong, had once been the captain of the Azure Eagle Special Forces in the southeastern region where He Chungwai was stationed, while her mother, Bai Yuhe, was a member of the Women's Special Operations Team.
Ten years ago, He Chungwai had not yet joined the Azure Eagle Special Forces; he only learned about it later. One night, the Azure Eagle Special Forces and the Women's Special Operations Team participated in a joint drug enforcement operation to dismantle a Drug Trafficking Organization.
As a result, the core members of the drug trafficking gang were not captured; only a few Xiao Ma were apprehended. Strangely enough, after the operation concluded, Shasha's parents—Qin Huarong and Bai Yuhe—went missing at the same time.
