Su Jianyang tightly gripped the gun, his arm trembling slightly, his eyes firmly locked on Wu Cheng's figure. "Wu Cheng! Turn around!" Su Jianyang called out loudly, his voice echoing in the quiet night, filled with determination and expectation. "I know you're still in there, don't let any sinister evil force control you! I still believe in you!" A glimmer of hope shone in Su Jianyang's eyes, despite the uncertainty and fear filling his heart.
Wu Cheng slowly turned around, a mocking and playful smile on his face, seemingly unaffected by Su Jianyang's words. "Oh, Officer Su, you've finally arrived!" Wu Cheng's voice carried a hint of sarcasm, his eyes devoid of any warmth or reason, only deep contempt and madness.
"Do you want to see your good friend?" Wu Cheng said jokingly, then shifted his body to reveal a person behind him. Su Jianyang's eyes widened as he saw a person tied to a wooden post, his good friend Yang Jing. Yang Jing's head hung low, looking weak and haggard.
Su Jianyang's heart sank as he felt a cold wind blow through his spine, as if it had scattered his hope and courage. "Yang Jing!" His voice carried a hint of despair and anger, but also revealed deep helplessness and sadness.
Wu Cheng continued to laugh playfully, his smile appearing unusually eerie in the moonlight. "Take a look, Officer Su, this is your brave colleague. Oh, he's not so brave now." Wu Cheng's words were filled with sarcasm and cruelty.
Su Jianyang's eyes flickered with sparks of anger and pain as he stared intensely at Wu Cheng, as if seeking answers from this person who was once his companion. "Who are you?" Su Jianyang's voice was hoarse and filled with anger, "Why are you doing this? Is all this madness, all this chaos, caused by you?"
Wu Cheng's mouth lifted into a sinister smile, he opened his mouth wide, deliberately making a surprised expression, as if mocking Su Jianyang's helplessness. "Me? Did I do it?" Wu Cheng's voice was full of mockery and ridicule, "How could that be possible? All of this is the doing of you humans, what does it have to do with me?"
His words revealed a kind of indifference and contempt, as if looking at an insignificant game. Wu Cheng's figure appeared even more eerie and unsettling in the moonlight, his presence no longer that of an ordinary person, but rather some kind of evil force beyond reason.
Su Jianyang felt a chill creeping up his spine, realizing that the Wu Cheng in front of him was no longer the person he once knew, but a terrifying presence. His heart was filled with anger and despair, but he persisted, refusing to give up. He had to find a way to stop all of this.
A sardonic smile hung on Wu Cheng's face, his tone laced with mockery and disdain. "Officer Su, do you really care that much about Wu Cheng?" His voice carried a taunt, "Do you know how many bad things he has done? He's just a stranger you passed by. Do you really need to risk your life for him?"
Su Jianyang's face flashed with anger as he tightly gripped the gun and glared at Wu Cheng. "Everything Wu Cheng has done is all because of your manipulation!" Su Jianyang's voice was firm and powerful, "Even if he is truly guilty, it is not for a wicked being like you to judge!"
Wu Cheng's smile became more eerie, as if he was enjoying Su Jianyang's anger and helplessness. His figure twisted in the moonlight, like a phantom corroded by dark forces. "Oh, Officer Su, your sense of justice is truly laughable," Wu Cheng's tone became more frivolous, "But do you know? The evil in this world runs far deeper than you can imagine. And you, are just a tiny pawn."
Su Jianyang's heart is filled with anger and helplessness. He knows that the Wu Cheng in front of him has been completely controlled by that unknown evil force.
Wu Cheng's smile is full of malice. He slowly walks towards Yang Jing, his steps carrying a sense of threat and cruelty. He lightly lifts Yang Jing's chin and says to Su Jianyang, "Officer Su, you cannot stop me. My plan has been proceeding methodically long before you even existed."
Yang Jing's face gradually contorted as Wu Cheng increased the force on his hand, causing his expression to become more and more painful. Yang Jing struggled to break free from Wu Cheng's control, but his strength seemed no match for Wu Cheng. Wu Cheng's eyes were filled with fanaticism and distortion, as if he had been completely consumed by that evil power.
Wu Cheng's smile became more sinister, and he continued to speak to Su Jianyang: "See, Officer Su, your efforts will ultimately be in vain. The Darkness of this world is far deeper than you can imagine. And I will become the master of this Darkness!"
Su Jianyang tightly gripped the gun in his hand, a surge of anger rising in his heart. Taking a deep breath, he aimed at Wu Cheng's eyes and calmly said, "You are wrong, Wu Cheng. Darkness will never conquer light. Even in the most desperate moments, I will never give up hope."
Wu Cheng's expression momentarily froze, his gaze sharp as he stared at Su Jianyang. His fervor and madness seemed to be in a battle against Su Jianyang's determination and courage. He raised his arm forcefully, causing Yang Jing to let out a painful groan. Su Jianyang instantly felt Yang Jing's pain, and anger surged in his heart. "Let him go!" Su Jianyang shouted, gripping the gun tightly, ready to shoot at any moment. But he knew that if he fired, Yang Jing might also be harmed.
