"Touch it, and your hand will be ruined! This flower is highly poisonous, tasteless, and kills without a trace!" Tian Feiyao glanced at her, truly good intentions mistaken for foolishness.
"Indeed, the more beautiful something is, the less you should touch it!" Upon hearing this, she immediately distanced herself from the flowers.

A gust of wind blew by, carrying a sigh that was lost in the breeze.
The two finally stopped in front of a slab of bluestone. Tian Feiyao reached out and gently tapped three times on the stone. The slab opened, revealing a winding staircase beneath it. Gu Yuniang did not hesitate and stepped down the stairs one by one.
Being underground, a dark and damp odor permeated the air. The walls were lit by murky oil lamps, casting indistinct shadows as if in a dream.
"Ah... ah..." A series of piercing screams echoed in her ears, causing her to shudder.
"Where is my father? Where is the Empress Dowager?" She stopped in front of a large cage. These cages were filled with people, but each one was a pitiful sight, their bodies marred and emitting a nauseating stench. Moreover, they could not speak; there was not a sound to be heard, as quiet as the depths of hell.
Gu Yuniang could hardly believe her eyes; this place was terrifying!
Someone had already approached Tian Feiyao to pay their respects. She saw him whisper a couple of commands, and then several figures dressed in black approached one of the cages and opened it.
A bloodied person rolled out from inside. Having gone too long without treatment, the blood on his body had turned black. His face was obscured in darkness, making it nearly impossible to discern his features. The most horrifying part was that his body was crawling with rats and some unknown insects.
Gu Yuniang tightly covered her mouth, staring in disbelief at the "monster" before her.
Who is this?
Why is he looking at me with such a familiar gaze?
No, it can't be. Absolutely not him!
"The Crown Prince of the Great Zhou is indeed deeply in love with the Consort Crown Prince, but unfortunately, it seems that the Consort Crown Prince doesn't recognize you!" Tian Feiyao said with a wicked smile, appearing extremely regretful.

Gu Yuniang was shocked and anxiously looked at Yun Shuyan, wanting to explain, but what Tian Feiyao said was not wrong.
Yun Shuyan was clearly also taken aback. He looked at Gu Yuniang with an extremely cold gaze and asked each word carefully, "Yun'er... tell me this isn't true!"

Yun Shuyan, who was usually good-natured and gentle, felt a surge of anger at those words, wanting to get up and fiercely hit the man. However, every movement sent waves of pain through his injured body.
After struggling for a while, he felt despair wash over him as he gazed at the two towering above him. His eyes finally fixed on Gu Yuniang. Why won't you look at me? Why does your embrace with him hurt my eyes so much?
It felt as if a steel knife had sliced through his heart, leaving it bleeding profusely. His throat felt like it was rusting from the inside, and finally unable to hold back, he spat out a mouthful of blood.

Seeing Yun Shuyan in such a state, Gu Yuniang was horrified and pushed Tian Feiyao away forcefully. She rushed forward, disregarding the insects crawling all over Yun Shuyan's body, and anxiously asked, "What’s wrong with you?"
"Yun'er... I'm fine! I don't blame you; really, I don’t! I know you've suffered a lot!" Yun Shuyan looked at the scars on her face, feeling immense pain. A big man like him couldn't help but shed tears in such an emotional moment.
A man crying for a woman showed that he truly loved her.

The last few words were spoken through gritted teeth. Gu Yuniang felt a chill in her heart as she gazed at Yun Shuyan through tear-filled eyes. A smile broke on her lips as she quickly leaned down and whispered a few words in his ear, ignoring his shocked expression.
Standing up calmly, she said, "Your Majesty, I should return now; Consort Li must be looking for me everywhere!"
Tian Feiyao looked at her expressionlessly, still pondering what she had just said to Yun Shuyan. After a long while, he nodded slightly and said, "You may leave! Remember, do not disclose this place to anyone; otherwise, there will be no mercy!"
"Kill, kill, kill! All you know is killing, yet I haven't seen you actually kill anyone!" Gu Yuniang scoffed at his words, letting out a cold huff before striding away along the same path.
Yun Shuyan was still contemplating what she had just told him, feeling both sorrowful and joyful. The joy came from knowing that she cared for him, while the sorrow stemmed from being alone in this treacherous Harem, and having to endure for the man before her.
A weak woman was suffering for him; he could no longer remain indifferent.
With that thought, he raised his gaze to Tian Feiyao, who was still standing there in a daze, and coldly said, "Respected Your Majesty, the Great Yue, I wish to discuss a deal with you!"
Tian Feiyao raised an eyebrow, signaling him to continue.
Gu Yuniang was escorted out of the secret chamber and found herself once again amidst a sea of flowers. Looking at the inconspicuous stone slab beneath her feet, she let out a long sigh of relief.
She felt as if her entire body was filled with strength again, unlike before when her heart felt unsettled.
She had told Yun Shuyan that she would find a way to rescue him.
With that thought in mind, her mood lightened considerably. She wandered around the vast Imperial Palace but found herself unable to locate Li Ying Palace.
Oh no, I'm lost.
Rubbing her sore legs, she casually found a step to sit on. After a moment of thought, she turned back to look at the entrance of the courtyard where she was sitting; above it were the large characters "Listening to Snow Pavilion."
