"I'm worried about her safety on the way to school. I thought maybe you could escort her; would you be willing?" Old Qin explained, while Qin Huansha looked at Jiang Chen expectantly.
Now it made sense! No wonder they were treating me with such importance today. However, the Qin family had a rival in the Azure Feather Sect, and indeed Shasha's route to school wasn't entirely safe. The enmity between the Qin family and Azure Feather Sect must have originated between Old Qin or his son’s generation; it couldn't possibly involve Shasha’s generation.
By the way, where were Qin Huansha's parents? Why were only Old Qin and his grandson here? There must be a story behind this; could it be related to Azure Feather Sect?
Regardless of the enmity between the Qin family and Azure Feather Sect, it was crucial that Shasha remained unharmed because she was innocent. Moreover, it would be quite unfortunate if such a lovely girl were truly harmed.

It should be better once you're at school; security measures at university are decent enough to prevent assassins from entering campus. By the way, why don't you just stay at my house tonight? You wouldn’t have to go back," Old Qin suggested, hoping Jiang Chen would stay for the night to strengthen their relationship.
Jiang Chen shook his head. "No thanks; I think I'll head back. I'm just not used to staying at your place!" If he stayed here, others would misunderstand! With a beauty like Qin Huansha around, any boy would have thoughts about her, but Jiang Chen was unaffected.
Qin Huansha looked slightly puzzled and disappointed. This guy was truly strange; even this beautiful girl didn’t attract him!
"Then I won’t force you. You didn’t drive here, did you? Let Chungwai give you a ride!" Old Qin called over his bodyguard. "Chungwai, take Xiao Chen home!"
The next morning, Jiang Chen arrived at Brother Industrial and Trade Company. This visit wasn’t about company matters.
"Directors Li, sorry for intruding!" Li Huaihu had already been discharged from the hospital, so both brothers were present.
"Director Jiang! What brings you here? Please have a seat!" Li Huailong and Li Huaihu were pleased to see Jiang Chen; after all, heroes appreciate heroes!
Jiang Chen was not polite and sat down on the sofa. The Li Brothers quickly accompanied him to sit down.
"I came today to ask the two of you, Director Li, for help. Do you know Old Qin?"
The Li Brothers nodded. "We have heard of the President of the Southeast Province Chamber of Commerce."
"His granddaughter got into college, and she asked me to escort her while she attends school. I agreed yesterday, but then I thought it would be better if I didn't get involved. I don't want to be dragged into their grievances!" Jiang Chen explained to the brothers about Old Qin asking him to escort Qin Huansha to school last night.
"Director Jiang, why does Qin Huansha need an escort for school?" Li Huailong found it strange.
Jiang Chen recounted how he had witnessed Qin Huansha being attacked by members of the Azure Feather Sect at the school gate and had saved her.
"It seems there is a significant feud between the Qin family and the Azure Feather Sect. Director Jiang, since Qin Huansha is very beautiful and around your age, wouldn't it be nice for you to be her flower protector?" said Li Huaihu.
Jiang Chen smiled wryly, "Being a flower protector is too easy for me; it's just that I don't want to get involved in the feud between the Qin family and the Azure Feather Sect. So I can't personally protect Qin Huansha, and I don't want her to get hurt, which is why I'm asking for your help!"
"Director Jiang, you're just acting as a flower protector; how could you get involved in their feud? Are you asking us to escort her or do you have other ideas?" Li Huailong clearly did not understand.

Lin Yin is so beautiful; even Jiang Chen admitted it, yet he claimed she wasn't his girlfriend? Did Jiang Chen like Qin Huansha? It wouldn't be right for him to play both sides! However, given Jiang Chen's abilities, he probably didn't care much about that! Thinking this way, Li Huailong quickly agreed. "Alright, we'll follow Director Jiang's arrangements!"
After discussing everything, the Li Brothers invited Jiang Chen to stay for lunch before leaving.
In the afternoon with nothing else to do, Jiang Chen went straight back to Huafei Villa. After taking a nap, he received a call from Lin Yin.
"Jiang Chen, where are you?" Lin Yin asked.
"I'm at my villa. Do you need something?"
"Nothing major; I just wanted to chat with you. Is that okay?"
Jiang Chen was planning to refine some medicine and naturally preferred not to have anyone over. Moreover, since moving into Huafei Villa, he hadn't invited anyone over.
However, he didn't want to refuse Lin Yin since she had helped him several times and treated him well. So he replied, "Then come over!"
