My name is Li Xinyao, and I work as a sales associate in a high-end fashion clothing store. Every morning, before the mall opens, I carefully iron and organize the clothes in the store to prepare for a brand new workday. As a sales associate, my keen sense of fashion and aesthetic judgment allow me to transform the store into a trendsetting hotspot in just a few minutes.
"Yao Yao, you look different today." The person who came in was Li Wen, a model from the first floor of our mall. She stands at 1.75 meters tall, with striking features and an alluring figure that makes her the center of attention wherever she goes. I instinctively touched my newly cut short hair, feeling a bit shy. "Really?"
Li Wen tossed her long hair and looked at me with envy. "Yeah, you look more energetic. Short hair really suits you." I felt a bit embarrassed; I used to have long hair but recently followed the trend and got a haircut like Li Wen's. I found out it didn't suit me at all and had to painfully cut my beloved long hair into a short style.
"No, I still think you look better with long hair." Li Wen smiled and didn't say anything more. She went with our store manager to meet with the floor manager. Unlike other malls, our floor manager is a young and sunny guy named Qin Jin. He is the most handsome guy in our mall and also my first crush.
About ten minutes later, Li Wen and the store manager returned, and Li Wen even made a point to greet me before heading back to her own store. I watched her figure disappear into the distance, lost in thought until the store manager urged me that there was still work to be done.
After a busy day, I finally finished work. As soon as I stepped out of the mall, I received a call from my best friend Du Mei. "Hey, Xiaoyao, I'm in love!"
I immediately felt elated. "That's great, Mei Mei! You finally don't have to be forced by your mom to go on blind dates anymore." Mei Mei has been my good friend since childhood. Although she has a carefree personality, she is sincere and helpful, always surrounded by admirers but reluctant to date.
Recently, she had been pressured by her mother to go on blind dates, which had really upset her. "Xiaoyao, my boyfriend has a buddy who's really handsome. How about we set up a blind date for you two?"
"Sure, sure."
I nodded excitedly, then realized that Du Mei couldn't see me, so I shyly responded.
To be honest, I was quite looking forward to it.
"Then it's settled. Let's meet at Jinzhou Mall tomorrow at six."

I was taken aback.
Jinzhou Mall isn't far from our current Baili Mall, but it's not close either; it takes at least twenty minutes by car.
The key issue is that we have plenty of quality young men at Baili Mall. Why go far when we have good options nearby?
It seemed Du Mei guessed what I was thinking and continued, "Don't even think about finding a partner at Baili Mall. It's the popular mall, and ordinary young men won't catch your eye."

The first person that came to my mind was Qin Jin.
Could it be that Du Mei's boyfriend's friend is Qin Jin?
The more I thought about it, the more excited I became, to the point where I couldn't sleep all night.
At six o'clock the next evening, I arrived punctually at the entrance of Jinzhou Mall.
Du Mei and her boyfriend were already waiting there.
Her boyfriend is named Zhang Qiang; he looks average but has a nice personality and treats Du Mei very well, so I'm quite satisfied with him.
I quietly pulled Du Mei aside and asked, "Where's the popular mall guy you mentioned?"
Du Mei gave me a mysterious smile and waved toward a figure not far away: "He's right here!"
In the next moment, a tall figure appeared in front of me.
