Until the next day, Wei Jianhua came to find her and discussed the project in detail. Xu Jing then learned that Zhou Qi was reclaiming an entire commercial building with a floor area of nearly twenty thousand square meters. Moreover, the renovation of the exterior walls had already begun. Xu Jing thought to herself, "..." She had been too naive to think that Zhou Qi was just playing around. It seemed that Zhou Qi was genuinely planning to settle down in Yun City for the long term.
Wei Jianhua smiled at Xu Jing and said, "Xiao Xu, this time the company will fully support you on the project. You can freely allocate all resources; designers, assistants, and construction teams will all be under your responsibility."

Xu Jing quickly divided the work into three parts and invited two designers to join her team. One of the designers was nearly fifty years old, considered older in the design field, and had been in the industry for many years but had not kept up with current trends, resulting in no significant breakthroughs over the years. The other designer had just graduated last year with a degree in design but lacked experience with major projects, so he had not been given much responsibility.
When Xu Jing invited them to join her team, both were pleasantly surprised. The older designer was named Liu Ming, while the younger one was named Zhang Shuya. Xu Jing and Liu Ming were both experienced designers and worked well together. Although Zhang Shuya had less experience, she was young and energetic, often running around doing various tasks.
For more than ten hours straight, the three of them immersed themselves on-site, organizing data. It wasn't until after midnight that they finally left the construction site. Liu Ming, being older, couldn't stay up late and went home first. Zhang Shuya, being young and able to handle late nights, continued to follow Xu Jing to organize data.
After working until past one o'clock, Zhang Shuya suddenly stood up and said, "Sister Jing, you must be hungry; I'll go buy you something to eat."
Xu Jing waved her hand and replied, "No need; I'm not hungry."
Zhang Shuya smiled and said, "I'll go out to buy some water. What do you want to drink?"
Xu Jing felt it was inappropriate to let her go alone, so she replied, "I'll go with you."
"No need," Zhang Shuya quickly pressed her shoulder. "Sister Jing, you keep working. I'll be back soon."
Without waiting for Xu Jing to respond, she turned and ran out.
Xu Jing shook her head and continued to focus on her work.
More than half an hour later, Zhang Shuya returned with a serving of Crossing Bridge Rice Noodles.
She placed the noodles in front of Xu Jing and said, "Sister Jing, eat up."
Xu Jing raised her eyebrows in surprise and asked, "Why did you buy this?"
Zhang Shuya smiled, "It's delicious."
Xu Jing didn't say anything and started eating.
Zhang Shuya sat across from her, resting her chin on her hands, smiling as she watched her. "Sister Jing, you eat so well."
Xu Jing smiled slightly and said, "Thank you for the noodles. It's getting late; you should head back."
"Okay," Zhang Shuya nodded. "Then I'll leave first. Sister Jing, don't stay too late either."
"Mm."

The office was left with only Xu Jing.
She looked up and surveyed the surroundings; the office was empty except for the computer screen emitting a faint blue light.
Xu Jing glanced down at the Crossing Bridge Rice Noodles in front of her and suddenly thought of Zhou Qi.

In a hotel room, Zhou Qi sat on the sofa, staring at the wall clock.
Time passed second by second, but he still hadn't waited for Xu Jing.
He frowned and took out his phone.
Just as she was about to make a call, someone suddenly knocked on the door.
Zhou Qi immediately put away her phone, stood up, and walked over to open the door.
Xu Jing stood outside, her expression calm: "Did you need something?"
Zhou Qi smiled slightly: "Of course."
Xu Jing stepped inside: "Go ahead, what is it?"
Zhou Qi walked behind her, closed the door, then turned around to look at her back: "What do you think?"
Xu Jing remained silent, turned around, and stared at him expressionlessly: "Zhou Qi, if you just want to have a quick fling, hurry up; I don't have time to waste with you."
Zhou Qi chuckled softly: "Do you think I came to see you just for a quick fling?"
