Unknowingly, I fell asleep in a daze. When I opened my eyes again, it was already six in the afternoon. I came out of my room and asked the aunt, "Has Xiao Qi eaten?" The aunt shook her head, "He hasn't come down all day. I went up to knock on his door at noon, but he didn't eat." "I'll go take a look." I went upstairs and knocked on Zhou Qi's door. "Xiao Qi, it's Xu Jing." There was no response from inside. I waited for a moment and pushed the door open. The room was dim, with heavy curtains blocking the sunset outside. Zhou Qi stood motionless in front of the curtains. "Xiao Qi, what do you want to eat? I'll bring it to you." Zhou Qi remained silent. I walked over to him and gently patted his shoulder. "Xiao Qi, please eat something." "Get away!" Zhou Qi shrugged off my hand. I wasn't angry; I said calmly, "This is your home. No one is more heartbroken than you right now, so whatever you do is justified." "Justified?" Zhou Qi sneered, "Xu Jing, who are you to say what's justified or not?" "Zhou Qi..." "Get out!" I stared at him, quietly observing him for a long time. I couldn't understand why such a beautiful boy had such a malicious heart. Zhou Qi also looked at me silently, his gaze icy. If looks could kill, I would have been dead a thousand times over by now. "Zhou Qi, are you not eating because you want your mom to come back and see you?" Zhou Qi's expression changed instantly. "Shut up!" "Your mom loves you the most. If she sees you starving and losing weight, she would be very upset." "Shut up!" Zhou Qi yelled at me, "Xu Jing, if you mention my mom again, I'll kill you!" 0

"Then go ahead and kill me." I closed my eyes. "If you kill me, you'll feel better." 0

Zhou Qi didn't say anything. 0

I opened my eyes and saw his hand trembling. 0

"Zhou Qi, you can't do it." I smiled. "You're not a bad person at all." 0

"I'm not a bad person?" Zhou Qi suddenly laughed, tears streaming down his face. "I'm not a bad person? Do you know that right now, all I want to do is kill someone?" 0

"Then just kill me." 0

"Xu Jing, do you think I wouldn't dare?" 0

"I know you would dare." I looked at him. "But you won't kill me." 0

"Why not?" 0

"Because..." 0

Because I don't want you to kill Zhou Qiang. 0

"Because I can't bear to lose you." 0

"You..." Zhou Qi stared at me, his expression one of shock. 0

I turned around and walked out. 0

Just as I closed the door, I heard Zhou Qi calling me from behind. 0

"Xu Jing, come back." 0

I stopped but didn't turn around. 0

"Come here," Zhou Qi commanded. 0

I turned back and walked in front of him. 0

"Auntie is very worried about you. You should come downstairs to eat." 0

Zhou Qi lowered his gaze and said nothing. 0

"Come on," I said. "Don't you want to eat sweet and sour ribs?" 0

Zhou Qi finally reacted. 0

He looked at me in surprise before striding out. 0

Zhou Qi went downstairs. 0

During dinner, Zhou Qi sat across from me in silence. 0

There were several dishes on the table, all of which Li Xue had told me he liked to eat when she was alive. 0

Zhou Qi picked at other dishes but didn't touch the sweet and sour ribs or the fish-flavored baked egg. 0

After dinner, Zhou Qi drove away. 0

I followed him in my car. 0

Zhou Qi's car sped up, overtaking others on the highway. 0

After getting off the highway, he parked the car by the roadside and walked alone towards the sea. I silently followed behind him. The moonlight spilled over the beach, and Zhou Qi walked ahead, his back appearing lonely. I couldn't help but recall my childhood when I came to the beach with my parents. Back then, the moon was bright, and the city was quiet. Unlike now, where there is only noise. 0

I tightened my coat and quietly followed Zhou Qi. Suddenly, Zhou Qi stopped in his tracks. "Xu Jing," he asked softly without turning around, "are you worried about me or worried about Zhou Qiang?" 0

"I'm worried about Zhou Qiang," I replied honestly. Zhou Qi smiled, "Then I'll make sure he wears that green hat, making the old man so angry he comes back to life, okay?" 0

"Zhou Qi," I stepped in front of him and looked directly into his eyes, "do you really think that way?" 0

"What else?" 0

"Do you really want to ruin Zhou Qiang's reputation?" 0

"Yes." 0

"Then go expose it," I said. "Expose the scandal of Zhou Wenguang and Zhou Qiang so everyone can see how disgusting they are." 0

"Xu Jing!" Zhou Qi was angry. "What the hell do you mean?" 0

"Xiao Qi, I'm doing this for your own good." 0

"Bullshit!" Zhou Qi shouted at me. "Xu Jing, do you dare say you're not doing it for Zhou Qiang?" 0

"I am doing it for Zhou Qiang," I didn't shy away. "But I'm also doing it for you." 0

"You..." 0

"Xiao Qi, if you want to take revenge on Zhou Qiang, I have a better way." 0

"You tell me." 0
