That night, when Jiang Xiaoyu came to find me, I was writing lesson plans. 0

"Are you busy?" he leaned over the edge of the desk, looking at me pitifully. 0

Jiang Xiaoyu shook his head, "Not busy, what's up?" 0

He hesitated, "Can you go out with me tonight?" 0

I was surprised, "Where to?" 0

"Don't worry about that for now," he said mysteriously, "I'll tell you when the time comes." 0

I had no choice but to nod, "Alright then." 0

Jiang Xiaoyu left in high spirits. 0

I watched his back and shook my head with a smile, continuing to write my lesson plans. 0

I wrote quickly and finished in less than two hours. 0

Just as I saved the document, I saw Jiang Xiaoyu waving at me from the other end of the corridor. 0

I got up and walked over, "Are we leaving now?" 0

Jiang Xiaoyu nodded, "Yes." 0

I looked outside at the sky, "Should we let Principal Chen and the others know?" 0

"I've already told them," Jiang Xiaoyu whispered, "You should change your clothes; we’ll leave right away." 0

I looked down at my outfit and asked, "Is there something wrong with what I'm wearing?" 0

Jiang Xiaoyu shook his head. "It's better to wear long sleeves and long pants, preferably black." 0

Although I didn't quite understand, I nodded. "Okay, give me two minutes." 0

I returned to my dorm and quickly changed into a black windbreaker and a pair of cargo pants. 0

When I came downstairs, Jiang Xiaoyu's eyes clearly brightened. 0

"Let's go," I said as I walked over to him. 0

Jiang Xiaoyu nodded and naturally took my hand. 0

His palm was very warm, and I couldn't help but glance at him again. 0

Jiang Xiaoyu smiled slightly at me and squeezed my hand gently. 0

His hands were dry yet warm, making me feel cherished. 0

We exited the school gate and walked down the mountain path. 0

Since it had just rained, the road was a bit slippery. Jiang Xiaoyu held my hand the entire way, afraid that I might fall. 0

I let him hold my hand without asking questions or saying anything, silently following him. 0

I trusted him. 0

No matter where he took me, I was willing to follow him. 0

After walking for a while, Jiang Xiaoyu suddenly stopped. 0

He took out a black cloth strip from his pocket and handed it to me. 0

"What is this?" I asked, puzzled. 0

"An eye mask," Jiang Xiaoyu said. "Put it on first, and I'll tell you why later." 0

I took the eye mask and looked at him suspiciously. "You're not going to sell me, are you?" 0

Jiang Xiaoyu chuckled. "How could I bear to do that?" 0

He reached out and helped me put on the eye mask. "Alright, just endure it for a moment; we'll be there soon." 0

Everything went dark in front of me, and I couldn't see anything. 0

I felt a bit scared and instinctively grabbed Jiang Xiaoyu's arm. 0

Jiang Xiaoyu seemed to notice my tension and reached out to wrap his arm around my shoulders. 0

"Don't be afraid," he said. "I'm here." 0

My heart slowly calmed down. 0

I trusted Jiang Xiaoyu as much as I trusted myself. 0

I knew that no matter what happened, Jiang Xiaoyu would be by my side, protecting me and caring for me. 0

I relaxed and leaned against Jiang Xiaoyu's shoulder. 0

Jiang Xiaoyu supported me as we walked slowly forward. 0

We walked for about twenty minutes before Jiang Xiaoyu finally stopped. 0

"We're here," Jiang Xiaoyu said softly. "Now, you can take off the blindfold." 0

I removed the blindfold and slowly opened my eyes. 0

In the next moment, I was completely stunned. 0

What lay before me was a "starry sky" made up of fireflies. 0

I had never seen so many fireflies, densely packed like countless stars, twinkling in the night sky. 0

I widened my eyes and was speechless for a long time. 0

Seeing my shocked expression, Jiang Xiaoyu couldn't help but smile. 0

"Song Jia," he called me softly. 0

"Mm?" I turned to look at him. 0

Jiang Xiaoyu gazed into my eyes and slowly spoke, "Do you know why I brought you here?" 0

I shook my head. 0

Jiang Xiaoyu smiled slightly, "Because I want to tell you that I like you." 0

I was taken aback. 0

Jiang Xiaoyu continued, "I know this might be too late to say, and maybe my way of saying it is wrong, but I really can't control myself." 0

"I like you, Song Jia," Jiang Xiaoyu's voice grew softer. "I like you to the point where I can't help myself." 0

I stared at him in a daze, unable to say a word. 0

Jiang Xiaoyu took two steps forward, getting closer to me. 0

He reached out and gently caressed my cheek, softly saying, "Do you know? I dream of being with you." 0

My heart began to race. 0

My face flushed red, and for a moment, I didn't know what to say. 0

Jiang Xiaoyu lowered his head and gently kissed my lips. 0

I closed my eyes, feeling his kiss. 0

His lips were soft and warm, with a hint of sweetness. 0

I couldn't help but extend my tongue, intertwining with his. 0

We kissed for a long time, only parting reluctantly when we could no longer breathe. 0

I leaned against Jiang Xiaoyu's embrace, breathing in fresh air, my heart still racing. 0

Jiang Xiaoyu held me close and whispered, "Song Jia, I'm serious." 0

I lifted my head to look at him. "I know." 0

Jiang Xiaoyu bit his lip and asked, "So... do you want to be with me?" 0

I smiled and replied, "I do." 0

A glimmer of surprise flashed in Jiang Xiaoyu's eyes. "Really?" 0

I nodded seriously. "Really." 0

Jiang Xiaoyu suddenly hugged me tightly. 0

I reached out and wrapped my arms around his waist, burying my face in his chest. 0

I could hear Jiang Xiaoyu's heartbeat, fast and strong. 0

My heart was racing too, pounding so hard it felt like it might burst from my chest. 0

I knew I had fallen for Jiang Xiaoyu. 0

Not because he was handsome, nor because he was wealthy. 0

But simply because he was Jiang Xiaoyu. 0
