Outside the Inheritance Tower, the martial artists were speculating about who had obtained the Heritage, each one feeling envious and secretly plotting their own schemes.
"Well, where the hell is Leizhen?" The speaker was a King-Level Expert, the previously mentioned Thunder God Sect Young Master, whose face was now terrifyingly dark. In Leizhou, he was considered a standout among the younger generation; not only had he become a King-Level Expert first, but he was also highly valued by his sect.
He had come for the Thunder God Legacy, believing that his talent and insight made him the rightful heir to the Heritage. Who would have thought that it would end up in someone else's hands? The reason for his intense feelings stemmed from losing to Leizhen during their time in Zongji Jing. Although he later broke through to the King Level Realm with some external help, he could never get over that hurdle in his heart. So whenever there was an opportunity, he would find excuses to undermine Leizhen.
Not far away, Ren Pingsheng silently glanced at them before continuing to stare at the Inheritance Tower. He too wanted to know who had obtained the Heritage, even though it had nothing to do with him. However, out of human nature, he was always curious about the unknown.
Five days passed in an instant when suddenly the thirteenth level of the Inheritance Tower lit up and began to tremble slightly. A multicolored radiance appeared out of nowhere, with a figure standing atop it.
This change immediately captured the attention of all martial artists as they began to scrutinize the person standing on the multicolored radiance. They all knew this must be the one who had obtained the Heritage.
"Impossible! How could it be that damn Leizhen? It can't be him! If anyone should be chosen, it should be me!" The Thunder God Sect Young Master exclaimed in disbelief upon seeing who stood atop the multicolored radiance.
Then suddenly filled with inexplicable rage, he couldn't believe that this person who had been beneath his feet now held the Heritage. Did this not imply that he was inferior to Leizhen? How could he accept that? After breaking through to become a King Level Boundary expert, he had felt elevated above others; now he felt as if he had been slapped hard across the face.
"Good! Very good! Leizhen, did you obtain the Thunder God Legacy?" He shouted with a darkened face and red eyes.
"Yes, I have obtained the Thunder God Legacy. I wonder what advice you have for me, Thunder God Sect Young Master?" The multicolored radiance slowly descended and stopped about fifty meters above ground as Leizhen spoke calmly.
"Hmph! You think you deserve to obtain the Heritage? Have you forgotten how you were once beneath my feet? Hand over the Heritage quickly; otherwise, I might let you stay in Thunder God Sect," he retorted.
"Heh heh, so you are indeed Thunder God Sect's Young Master; your arrogance is truly annoying. You only have a good father; otherwise, you wouldn't even be my opponent. Do you think becoming a King-Level Expert with external help makes you stronger than me? You're just digging your own grave! It only makes me look down on you even more. Besides, now that I've obtained the Heritage, do you think Thunder God Sect still holds any significance for me?" Leizhen said disdainfully.
"Haha! Keep talking tough! Even if you've obtained the Heritage, so what? You are not my opponent at all. If you don't hand it over, then I'll take it by force!" The expression of Thunder God Sect Young Master changed before breaking into a laugh again. His aura surged even more as it charged towards Leizhen amidst the radiant light.
Unfortunately, his speed was fast, and the others were not slow either, especially those King-Level Experts, who couldn't help but take action one by one. Even some Zong-level Martial Artists were circling around, looking for opportunities.
The nearly two thousand martial artists were all closely watching Leizhen on the Multicolored Radiance, each harboring different intentions, ready to strike without hesitation if given the chance.
On the contrary, Ren Pingsheng slowly withdrew. He knew very well that since the Heritage could be inherited, it wouldn't be easily taken away. Since he couldn't inherit it himself, there was no need for him to take such risks.

"The Thunder God Legacy is indeed powerful; it can allow a Zong-level Martial Artist to become a King-Level Expert so quickly and with such strength." Ren Pingsheng watched from a distance with some admiration and envy.
"But what is that Multicolored Radiance? It has such power that so many King-Level Experts cannot break through it. It seems that this Thunder God Legacy has indeed granted him quite a few good things."
"Hmph! We will attack together; I don't believe this turtle shell is that impressive! Listen up below; anyone who wants to obtain the Thunder God Legacy should follow my orders and strike together!" The Thunder God Sect Young Master saw that they still couldn't do anything about him and immediately spoke to other Zong-level Martial Artists.
These nearly two thousand martial artists were basically eyeing the Thunder God Legacy; now that such an opportunity had arisen, they all wanted to take a shot at it. Very few could hold back from attacking. When nearly two thousand martial artists struck together, the momentum was earth-shattering.

With a loud roar from him, the Inheritance Tower suddenly shook violently; this commotion was quite exaggerated, even causing the ground to tremble. Suddenly, a golden light flew down from the top of the Inheritance Tower and landed in front of Leizhen.
It was a hammer radiating with Thunder energy, about ten feet long, covered in mysterious patterns with a fierce hammerhead embedded at its tip. As soon as it appeared, it became the center of this world, exuding an overwhelming aura of supremacy.
"Shatter!" Leizhen gently grasped the hammer and swung it lightly; the entire world seemed to break apart. Those martial artists surrounding him—whether Zong-level Martial Artists or King-Level Experts—felt their bodies tighten as moving became an unattainable luxury. Then everything went dark before they knew anything else.
However, in Ren Pingsheng's eyes, these warriors were all consumed by the Void Rift. As that hammer fell, the space within two hundred zhang collapsed entirely, turning into a black hole. The warriors in between didn't even have time to react and were swallowed up in an instant.
"Ah..." Among those affected nearby, some powerful warriors managed to break free. However, they looked quite miserable, missing arms and legs, and among them were two King-Level Experts who screamed as they escaped.
With this one strike, all hopes for the Thunder God Legacy were dashed. At least two hundred warriors had died from that blow, including five King-Level Experts. Adding the two severely injured ones, seven had perished in total. No one else dared to make a move.
"Thunder God's Hammer, could it be a divine... artifact?" one King-Level Expert said with a tremble, his face pale and looking as if he had seen a ghost.
"Divine... artifact!" Upon hearing this, the other warriors stared fervently at the Thunder God's Hammer in the sky. Their hearts raced with excitement yet fear. They had just witnessed its power; with one strike, five King-Level Experts had died along with over two hundred Zong-level Martial Artists. Perhaps only a divine artifact could possess such might!
"Heh heh, weren't you all wanting the Thunder God Legacy? I'm right here; why aren't you making a move?" Leizhen said with a mocking smile.
However, when he saw Ren Pingsheng, he was taken aback because he sensed that Ren Pingsheng seemed uninterested in the Heritage. While everyone else wore expressions of greed, Ren Pingsheng's face was calm, which piqued his curiosity. Even after witnessing the power of the Thunder God's Hammer, it seemed to have no effect on him.
"Thunder God's Hammer, is this really a divine artifact? But with his strength, he probably can't use it multiple times," Ren Pingsheng said as his eyes narrowed, deeply shocked by the weapon's power. Leizhen did not notice this because Ren Pingsheng concealed it well. Although he felt shaken inside, his face remained composed.
"It seems this time the Thunder God Temple is completely finished; the Heritage has found its owner, and a divine artifact has emerged. It's time to leave!" he murmured softly to himself before turning around and departing. He planned to go back to Thunder Sea for further cultivation; as for how much time it would take, he didn't care anymore.
"Haha... since you won't come to seize it, then I'll take my leave. Young Master of Thunder God Sect, you truly are lucky to have survived," Leizhen glanced at the departing Ren Pingsheng and then smiled. With a shake of Multicolored Radiance, he ascended and re-entered the Inheritance Tower.
Only the severely injured Young Master of Thunder God Sect and a group of warriors remained behind, staring blankly in anger yet unable to voice it. The power of Thunder God's Hammer was too terrifying; no one dared to attempt anything again.
