"Quickly leave, that Fire Lizard is likely to come back," Ren Pingsheng reminded Xin Yue'er after receiving a warning from the Demon Emperor.
"So soon? We need to hurry. If we get blocked by that big guy, it will be dire," Xin Yue'er said, her expression changing as she prepared to run back the way they came.
"Go this way; it's safer. The other path is too dangerous and will get us discovered," he said with a firm tone, leading the way as the two of them quickly distanced themselves from the area.
Just a few minutes after they left, the Fire Lizard returned. It had fought fiercely with the two Warrior Realm experts, resulting in one death and one escape. Although it was injured, it returned victorious. As for the Ghost-faced Spider, it had taken advantage of the battle to escape.

The woman was none other than Chu Yanran, who had undertaken the Demon Soul Valley mission with him.
