A leaf was blown by the wind, slowly falling between the three of them. With a 'bang', it shattered without warning, dissipating into the wind.
"Kill!" Chen Kai's sword struck at the same time. The dazzling Sword Light cut through the sky, reaching Ren Pingsheng in an instant, incredibly swift. Qian Xin knew of Ren Pingsheng's prowess and was only a half-step slower; he leaped forward, preparing to strike from the side.
Seeing their movements, Ren Pingsheng smiled lightly. His Longsword flashed, instantly thrusting out three strikes, hitting the weakest point, causing the Sword Light to collapse.
Then he lightly stepped forward, avoiding Qian Xin's sword strike. The sword in his hand moved continuously, executing a Golden Edge Kill as he slashed back at Qian Xin, who was preparing to continue his attack.
In a blur, he appeared beside Chen Kai, his sword like a startling rainbow aimed directly at Chen Kai's throat. In the blink of an eye, Ren Pingsheng easily neutralized the two-person siege and even gained the upper hand.
"Hmph!" Chen Kai snorted coldly, not slowing down. He flicked his Longsword to deflect Ren Pingsheng's sword and then swung it around to slash at Ren Pingsheng's throat.
Ren Pingsheng remained unfazed by the Longsword so close before him. He gently retracted his sword and seemed to teleport to the shadow beside Chen Kai. The Longsword in his hand thrust out with even greater speed.
"Bang... Not good!" Chen Kai's sword did not strike Ren Pingsheng as he had imagined; instead, it fell into empty space. In that moment, he realized something was wrong. Before he could react, almost in a split second, Ren Pingsheng's Longsword pointed at his Heart.
"Ah..." He let out a scream as blood sprayed far away, and he immediately flew backward.
Qian Xin, rushing in to attack, saw this situation. He turned his body and landed next to the injured Chen Kai with a wary expression.
"Brother Chen, are you okay?" He asked with a grim face as he looked at the person lying on the ground.
"I... how could I... I'm not willing to accept this!" Chen Kai said in disbelief, desperately raising his left hand as if trying to grasp something that was slipping away. But soon it fell weakly; his eyes widened in a look of unwillingness to close them.
The treasure was right before him, yet he watched it slip away like this; he hadn't even fully unleashed his power before dying inexplicably. No wonder he felt so unwilling!
"Brother Chen, Brother Chen." Qian Xin called out twice with a pale face. When he received no response, he accepted this cruel reality. It wasn't that he valued brotherhood so much; rather, in such a dangerous situation, losing a powerful ally made him even more vulnerable.
"I really want to know why the disciples of the Tiger Roar Sect are looking for me. We are somewhat familiar with each other, so I wonder what you have to say?" Ren Pingsheng merely glanced lightly and then looked at Qian Xin.
"You... Hmph, even if I tell you, you won't let me go, right? Since that's the case, why should I tell you?" His expression was stern as he drew his sword, ready to fight to the death.
"It doesn't matter whether you speak or not; with so many disciples in the Tiger Roar Sect, someone will be willing to talk. Are you planning to make a move? Unfortunately, you're not my opponent."
"Hmph, so what if that's the case? At worst, we'll both perish together." Qian Xin snorted coldly, swinging his long sword as all his momentum and power concentrated on this one strike.
"Slash, Fierce Tiger Descends!" He shouted loudly, and a beam of sword light transformed into a tiger shape, pouncing down like a fierce tiger with overwhelming pressure.
"Just a desperate struggle. Since you won't give up, let me show you," Ren Pingsheng sighed and swept his long sword, unleashing a streak of blue sword light. A gigantic wind dragon appeared out of thin air, roaring as it sucked everything around it in. The descending fierce tiger was tossed around in the wind a few times before disappearing from sight.
Then the wind dragon turned and swept towards the fleeing Qian Xin. Dust filled the air, creating an imposing spectacle.
"Damn it," Qian Xin halted his escape and instantly slashed out a dozen beams of sword light that collided with the wind dragon. However, they only stirred up a few ripples before completely dissipating.
"How is this possible... so strong!" His face turned pale as he realized just how vast the gap between them was. Yet he wouldn't just give up; he exerted all his strength to slash out another strike.
"Boom..." A thunderous sound echoed, causing nearby trees to topple over. The wind swept through, leaving only bare branches behind.
Looking at where he had just stood, a deep pit appeared. Injured and struggling, Qian Xin found it hard to swallow. If that wind dragon hadn't inexplicably paused at the last moment, giving him a chance to escape, he would have likely been killed by now.
"Out of consideration for our acquaintance, I didn't let you die too disgracefully. So tell me, are you interested in revealing the reason now?" Ren Pingsheng walked over slowly and asked with a smile.
"If I tell you, will you let me go?" he asked hopefully.

Almost every Warrior Strongman has it as an essential part of their daily cultivation for body refinement.
