‘Pop,’ the sound of bubbles bursting in the Lava suddenly pierced through the quiet environment, sharp and jarring.
“Hiss…” The Flame Serpent, with its head held high, suddenly swung its tail, sending a large wave of Lava towards the Flame Wolf and Brother Zhao. Then it turned its head and stretched its neck, unexpectedly aiming to bite at the nearby Fire Lotus. This caught everyone off guard.
However, neither the person nor the beast took their eyes off the Fire Lotus. Seeing the Flame Serpent's movement, they both roared in anger and charged at it. Especially the Flame Wolf, which moved faster, opening its mouth wide to bite at the Flame Serpent's neck with a desperate look.

"You beast, if it weren't for you, the Fire Lotus would have been mine long ago." Brother Zhao was filled with anger and had nowhere to vent it. Upon seeing Flame Serpent, he charged forward with his sword drawn.
Flame Serpent was equally furious; seeing the one who had previously fought to the death with it attacking again, it let out a shriek, and the two immediately engaged in battle, each determined to fight to the death.
In the end, neither could gain the upper hand, both left with numerous injuries.
