"Oh..." Ren Pingsheng responded lightly, showing little reaction.

"Look beside the cave; that's the Golden Crow Grass, and lying next to it is the Explosive Ape," Long-Faced Man whispered while hiding behind a large rock.
"Indeed, it is Golden Crow Grass." Ren Pingsheng saw a light golden plant not far away with five leaves and a golden fruit in the center emitting an enticing fragrance. Next to it was an Explosive Ape with golden fur and bulging muscles sound asleep.
"I'll make my move first to lure it out; you two should wait for an opportunity to strike. As a disciple of Azure Wind Sword Sect, you should have mastered Intermediate Sword Technique," Long-Faced Man asked with glimmering eyes.
"Oh, you seem to know quite a bit about our Outer Sect Disciples," Ren Pingsheng said with a slight smile at the corner of his mouth.
"Haha, a few years ago I had a friend who was an Outer Sect Disciple of your sect. Unfortunately, he fell later on. I wonder how your Intermediate Sword Technique is?"
"It is usable; I can perform some aspects of the Intermediate Sword Technique, but its power is only slightly stronger than that of low-level Sword Techniques," Ren Pingsheng replied half-truthfully.
"Then we have a better chance now. Even if the Intermediate Sword Technique is only partially unleashed, its power should not be underestimated. This time, the great sword flashed in the air and avoided the Explosive Ape's fist, striking its chest instead and leaving a wound of moderate length.
This enraged the Explosive Ape even more. It stood on its legs, grabbed a large rock, and threw it at Long-Faced Man, forcing him to retreat and dodge continuously. The Explosive Ape would not let up and charged after him.
"Quickly attack!" Long-Faced Man shouted loudly. The Dwarf nearby executed a low-level sword technique that struck the Explosive Ape, which had been distracted.
Immediately, the two men closed in and surrounded the Explosive Ape, launching continuous attacks in coordination. Sword energy crisscrossed as numerous wounds appeared on the Explosive Ape's body, blood flowing profusely.
"Roar..." The wounds made the Explosive Ape lose some of its rationality. It roared angrily and raised its palm again, suddenly glowing with gold.
"Not good! Don't take it head-on; quickly dodge!" Long-Faced Man shouted as his expression changed.
But the Dwarf reacted a moment too late and had no choice but to raise his steel sword to block the palm. The result was akin to crashing into a mountain; a piercing grinding sound erupted as the steel sword shattered. The Dwarf was sent flying over ten yards, spitting blood uncontrollably!
"Quickly act! This Explosive Ape just used its beast technique; its breath will weaken for half an hour. Now is the best time!"
Ren Pingsheng's figure swayed and he appeared beside the Explosive Ape, slashing with his sword. The extreme sharpness seemed to pierce the sky, flashing through the void. This strike was incredibly fast.
The Explosive Ape's face was filled with terror, its golden fur standing on end as it desperately tried to dodge. Unfortunately, at such a close distance, combined with the fact that it had just used a beast technique, its breath was weak and its reactions were sluggish.
In the suddenly widened eyes of the Long-Faced Man, the Explosive Ape's abdomen was cut open, a horrific wound gushing blood, with its internal organs clearly visible.
The Explosive Ape let out a painful roar, its tall body staggering backward. It crashed into two or three large trees before finally collapsing in convulsions. Within a few minutes, it breathed its last. The pungent blood flowed everywhere, staining a large area of land red.
