She lowered her Eyes, the cold wind stirring her hair, creating a beautiful arc in the air. A group of people, some smiling, some tense, some rejecting, and some dissatisfied, moved through the Barracks. 0

"Hey! That team, stop!" A person resembling an Officer stood in front of them, his dark skin and murky black-and-white eyes scanning the girls in the group. Liniang, being an old hand at this, greeted him with a hint of a smile on her well-painted face. 0

"Sir, we are from the Theater." 0

The Officer looked her up and down, his gaze wandering through the group until it landed on Cheng Mosu. He paused for a moment, an indescribable smile appearing at the corners of his mouth. With a slight gesture of his gloved hand, he said, "The rest can leave; this one comes with me." 0

Cheng Mosu and Liniang exchanged a quick glance, anxiety filling their hearts. Liniang hurriedly stepped in front of Cheng Mosu. "I don't know what she did wrong to warrant your personal reprimand?" 0

The Officer looked at her as if she were being ungrateful, pushed Liniang aside, and grabbed Cheng Mosu's slender shoulder. His previously indistinct face turned cold. "Be smart and get out of my way; otherwise, I'll destroy your Theater and leave you all without food!" 0

"This..." Liniang glanced at Cheng Mosu awkwardly. Cheng Mosu understood her meaning and felt beads of sweat forming on her forehead. Her delicate fingers intertwined nervously as she whispered, "Liniang, don’t make it difficult for yourself; I will go with him." She held Liniang's hand tightly and quietly said, "If you see Shaoyi or the General beside Shaoyi, please let him know to come quickly; I will... wait for him..." 0

Liniang nodded solemnly, watching helplessly as Cheng Mosu was taken away by the Officer. 0

"What is your name?" Their footsteps halted as the Officer fixed his gaze on Cheng Mosu's Water-colored eyes. This girl was different from any he had seen before; she showed no panic or confusion but seemed resigned to her fate, calm and composed. 0

A gentle breeze blew past, lifting the hem of Cheng Mosu's Costume slightly. The scene froze with her ink-like features remaining serene; she did not raise her head or show any emotion as she replied softly and slowly, "Cheng Mosu." 0

The Officer was momentarily stunned before nearly bursting into laughter. "You are Cheng Mosu? Don’t joke! How could a young lady from a prestigious family become an actress?" 0

"If you don’t believe me, you can tell your Young Commander to come and judge for himself. If I am an imposter, someone will execute me; if I am genuine, aren’t you afraid that touching me now will make your future difficult?" Her cold voice seemed to come from the heavens but indeed came from her lips. The Officer glared at her fiercely and fell silent for a moment before erupting into a sinister laugh. 0

"I don’t care whether you are really Cheng Mosu or not; if I kill you afterward, no one will know. After all, people die every day in this war; killing you or wiping out that entire Theater won’t raise any eyebrows." The Officer’s gaze swept over Cheng Mosu’s chest with a lewd smile. 0

Such audacity. Cheng Mosu was shocked but forced herself to remain calm as she turned to run back. But she was no match for the Officer; after just a few steps, he had her trapped in his embrace like a nightmare. The Officer held her tightly against him, his expression mocking and triumphant. "What I hate most is being threatened by others. I've already risked my life to join the army; I won’t care about what happens next—enjoying the present is what brings true happiness!" 0

As soon as the words fell, a strange aura tightly surrounded her. He reached out and picked up a strand of her hair, his eyes filled with endless greed. She was held tightly by him, unable to move, and with all her strength, she managed to utter two words: "Help me." 0

"This place is extremely remote; no one will come to save you!" The Officer pressed her down to the ground and began to unfasten her clothing. 0

"Let me go!" She struggled weakly; she had no demands, only wanting to see Shaoyi... 0

He leaned close to her ear, his voice like a ghost from the underworld, "Hmph, just accept your fate!" 0

Accept fate... how could that be possible... how could she belong to such a person... She belonged to Shaoyi. That night she had secretly vowed that she would only belong to Shaoyi in this lifetime. Without thinking, she drew the military knife hidden in her calf and thrust it straight at the Officer. The Officer reacted quickly, grabbing her arm and knocking the knife away. 0

"You shameless **! Dare to ambush me!" Resistance brought about the most violent retaliation; his hand struck hard against her abdomen, causing her vision to blur with pain as she nearly fainted. The Officer's breathing grew increasingly rapid and forceful, his rough hand probing into her collar, violating her delicate skin. 0

"Help me..." Her weak murmurs were unlikely to attract anyone's attention, especially since there was no one around. 0

Her slender hands wrapped around his waist, and the Officer paused, thinking she had accepted her fate. He couldn't help but smile, "See? This is much better than struggling." He leaned down again, his ** tongue teasing her earlobe, making her feel sick. 0

Suddenly... he sensed something was wrong. The gun he wore at his waist had somehow been taken off by her; the cold muzzle was aimed directly at his Sun point. The seemingly fragile woman before him had clear and bright water-colored eyes that shimmered under the sunlight. 0

"What are you going to do?" 0

"Kill you." There was not a hint of hesitation. 0

"Do you dare?!" He panicked. 0

Cheng Mosu smiled faintly, noncommittal, yet the gun's muzzle did not waver. She kicked him, "Get up!" 0

"Okay." When life and death are in someone else's hands, one can only obediently surrender. He hurriedly moved away from Cheng Mosu. Cheng Mosu adjusted her clothing and disheveled hair with one hand while keeping the gun aimed at his head with the other, saying calmly, "Take me to see him!" 0

"Who... who are you seeing?" 0

"Shaoyi!" 0

"I... I have never seen the Young Marshal! I..." 0

Cheng Mo Su Che's Eyes scrutinized him, the fine strands of hair on his forehead framing his fair skin, which was tinged with a hint of red. "Then do you recognize Shen Deputy Officer? Take me to him!" 0

"Please spare me, I don't know any of those high-ranking officers! I..." 0

Before he could finish, a familiar voice came from a distance, "Hey! Who's up ahead! Put down your gun! Surrender!" 0

Cheng Mo Su's eyes shifted, and Lip Corners curled into a light smile. Just as they say, "Speak of the devil," Shen Deputy Officer was currently holding his sidearm, ready to deliver a fatal blow. Upon seeing her figure, he was momentarily taken aback, frozen in place. 0

"Shen Deputy Officer, long time no see. How come you don't recognize me?" she teased with a smile, though her heart surged with emotions at their reunion after several years. 0

"How could that be..." Shen Mingliang hurriedly lowered his weapon. "How could I forget Miss Cheng? Even if my memory is poor, with the Young Marshal mentioning you every day in my heart, I would remember you." 0

Cheng Mo Su paused for a moment, lowering her Eyes, the corners of her Rose-Colored Lips slightly lifting. 0
