This map is not just an ordinary map. It resembles a super complex codebook. Only by finding the right decryption method can we truly uncover the secrets of the City of Forgotten. I tightly clutched the paper in my hand, feeling as if I were holding a shield. This shield could protect us from any threats and help us discover the truth. 0

Old Li was completely focused on his work. I quietly walked to the door and locked the library entrance. I needed to ensure that our research would not be disturbed. Then I returned to Old Li's side. He took off his glasses, rubbed his nose, and his eyes were red from reading too many books. 0

"Any progress?" I asked him. 0

Old Li shook his head and replied slowly, "It's just too complicated. Cracking this code will likely take a lot of time." 0

I nodded. I wasn't afraid of waiting; I was just worried that some people might not be able to wait. 0

I whispered, "Old Li, do you think the person who left the diary genuinely wanted us to find the City of Forgotten?" 0

Old Li pondered for a moment before answering, "Maybe he didn't want that." 0

"But he definitely doesn't want certain people to find the City of Forgotten." 0

Which people? A figure suddenly popped into my mind—the man in the black hat who always stood at the edge of the city, coldly observing everything. Who exactly is he? I couldn't help but shiver. 0

"Old Li..." 0

I hadn't finished speaking when the library door was suddenly pushed open with a bang. A gust of cold wind rushed in, carrying a strange scent. Both Old Li and I looked up at the same time. There stood Molly at the entrance, wearing a triumphant smile and a piercing gaze that was frightening. 0

Molly walked over slowly in her ultra-thin high heels. Her eyes resembled those of a highly venomous snake. She spoke with certainty, " 顧墨, you are searching for that city that everyone has forgotten, aren't you?" This wasn't a question; it was a statement. She actually knew about City of Forgotten's existence! 0

I remained silent, simply staring at her intently. She slightly lifted her chin, a hint of a mocking smile on her lips: "Don't look at me like that; I can see through your little tricks." 0

" 顧墨, our goals are the same." 0

"To put it simply, you're quite curious about the secrets hidden in this city too, aren't you?" 0

"Now there's a good opportunity for you; you can choose to cooperate with me or stand in my way." 0

Her words came quickly and directly. I paused for a moment and then quietly asked her, "What exactly do you want to find City of Forgotten for?" 0

Molly couldn't help but laugh, as if she found me foolish. "Of course, it's to gain its power." 0

" 顧墨, the secrets of this city are far more than you can imagine." 0

I was taken aback by her words. After saying this, she turned around and waved her hand, saying, "Think it over and let me know your decision; I'll be waiting for you." 0

Molly left just like that, disappearing without a trace as suddenly as she had arrived. 0

Old Li looked at me, his face filled with worry: " 顧墨..." 0
I shook my head, indicating that I was fine. 0
I clenched my fist tightly. 0
This battle had already begun. 0
I had no way out. 0
The diary and the map pointed me in one direction—an ancient and dangerous place. 0
A cursed tomb. 0
It is said that there lies a door leading to City of Forgotten. 0
