"Clang!" An Xiaotian unlocked his helmet, brought his legs together, and returned a proper military salute. "Captain An Xiaotian of the Celestial Warriors Alliance, on behalf of all the Celestial Warriors, salute you, Spirit Corps Family." 0

The other Celestial Warriors behind him raised their hands in salute to the Spirit Corps standing in two rows beside them. Aibo lowered the anchor and continued to mimic the actions. Miao Chengmin and An Xiaotian simultaneously lowered their hands. 0

"It's been a long time since I've felt this way," Miao Chengmin thought, as the warm seed began to take root in his heart, gently softening his increasingly cold demeanor. 0

"Stand up!" 0

"Hello, Instructor!" 0

Miao Chengmin recalled the last mission before his death when everyone had sat down with the instructor to play Truth or Dare; that warm and harmonious feeling was long overdue. The soldier before him resembled both his comrade and his instructor. Unfortunately, it was impossible to return to the past. 0

"I have a lot to say to you," Miao Chengmin said, "but first, let me explain how to recognize me." 0

"Do you believe I guessed?" Nars stepped forward. 0

"Hey, that's my line," Miao Chengmin retorted without hesitation, using Nars's previous words against him. 0

Nars laughed heartily and said, "I really did guess. I thought you would definitely be faster than that other Spirit Corps member. And if it weren't for you guys, those people wouldn't have been scared away by the song; Soulless would have been furious by now, right?" 0

"Definitely a guess," An Xiaotian remarked sarcastically. 0

Nars and An Xiaotian exchanged glances at the corners of their eyes. 0

Miao Chengmin looked at the two of them and asked, "Do you Celestial Warriors know someone called Stalker, a free agent?" 0

"Yes, an old friend," Nars replied firmly. "But she's not just any free agent. Stalker is a top spy and assassin for Moon Internal Human. She escaped during the last battle." 0

"Last time?" Miao Chengmin frowned. 0

"We've had quite a few encounters with Moon Internal Human," An Xiaotian added. 0

Miao Chengmin nodded and continued, "The explosion yesterday was caused by her; she also killed those people. Initially, I thought like you that Virgil would come here to expand his influence. I wanted to use Chaos Power to create a barrier in the cemetery to seal off the corpses here. But Virgil didn't show up; instead, he ran into someone claiming to be from the Celestial Warriors. It was clear she coveted the Chaos Crystals I was guarding." 0

"Did she pry information from you?" Nars asked. 0

"Definitely, but I only told her that the Chaos Crystals are with me; I didn't mention who I am or anything else," Miao Chengmin confirmed. 0

"That's good; otherwise, if it reaches Ban Sa's side, he would definitely cause trouble for Time-Space King," Nars said. 0

An Xiaotian thought for a moment and said, "Uh, wouldn't that help relieve some pressure from Earth?" 0

"If Divine Realm is not doing well, don't even think about Earth; the entire universe will suffer," Nars reminded An Xiaotian. 0

"Indeed," Miao Chengmin said. "Also, I want to remind you that Virgil should be almost ready. We all need to stay alert at all times." 0

Nars and An Xiaotian exchanged glances; An Xiaotian understood and spoke up: "Miao Chengmin, I want to discuss something with you." 0

"We can agree," Miao Chengmin blurted out. 0

An Xiaotian and Liu Xuan were momentarily taken aback by the wind—this question hadn't even been posed yet; how did he already have an answer? Wasn't this a bit disrespectful? 0

"Don't speak yet, I'll answer directly, that's what I mean," Miao Chengmin warned the two. 0

Lu Sha felt that the Spirit Corps members standing nearby seemed a bit off. She noticed they were restless; some were talking, their faces filled with anxiety; others were looking at the distant sky; some were stomping their feet while looking down. 0

"Have they been talking for too long?" Lu Sha nudged Sister Jiao An. 0

"This has just begun, it shouldn't be that," Jiao An thought. Since they were all Earthlings in life, she shouted to them in English, "What's going on?" 0

No Spirit Corps responded to her, so Jiao An asked again in Russian, Haitian Creole, and Latvian. Just as she was about to try French, finally one Spirit Corps looked at her and gestured in sign language. 0

Jiao An understood and gave a "good" sign back to that Spirit Corps. 0

"What did he say?" everyone looked at Jiao An. 0

"There are enemies approaching, surrounding us," Jiao An said, and with a click, she pulled the safety catch of the Fate Conqueror. 0

Miao Chengmin extended his hand, a sensing orb swirling in his palm— 0

"Buzz," "buzz," "buzz"... 0

The orb continuously emitted sensing waves. After a while, a similar frequency echoed from the distant rubber tree forest in the northeast, seemingly intentional, a provocation. 0

"There are enemies," An Xiaotian immediately donned his head armor. 0

"And those enemies are responding to Miao Chengmin, a blatant provocation," Nars said. 0

Miao Chengmin remained silent, glaring at the dark forest ahead. 0

The rain continued to fall; there was no sound of conversation in the area. Everyone and the corpses held their breath, watching Miao Chengmin walk across the wet muddy ground. 0

"Miao Chengmin," Nars called out to him. 0

"Don't mind me, you all leave," Miao Chengmin put away the sensing orb. "This is a personal grudge." 0

He suddenly looked towards George, who had already stepped forward, gesturing: "Take the family and go." 0

"Boss..." George trembled but resolutely shook his head. "This time we won't leave you behind no matter what." 0

In the darkness, a figure began to emerge with a completely different sheen from Miao Chengmin. An Xiaotian and Nars both saw it—a flowing gray-white neural network surrounded by an eerie white aura that was in stark contrast to Miao Chengmin's darkness. 0

The darkness accentuated her presence, resembling a female ghost more than anything else—a grim reaper come to collect souls. 0

"Did you miss me, Brother Miao?" 0

Virgil finally floated into view. Rain fell on her and instantly evaporated into white mist that wrapped around her. Her pale eyes and long hair obscured her bones; her facial bones broke through her skin and protruded outward with a sinister grin. 0

She was entirely different from the other Spirit Corps—gray-white skin identical to Chaos Crystals: bony spikes protruded from her exposed legs like natural armor clinging to her body. 0

Miao Chengmin focused closely; there were fresh bloodstains on her lips. 0

"Traitor!" 0

"Go be remade in the Demon Realm! Trash!" 0

"You dare call yourself Brother Miao?!" 0

All the Spirit Corps shouted angrily, expressing their dissatisfaction with Virgil's appearance. 0

"Hmph." Virgil was a pragmatist; she didn't engage in verbal sparring— 0

"Kill for me." 0
"Roar—" 0
The brutal Soulless behind finally received the command, and the tide of corpses surged forward, roaring and pushing, fearing they would be too slow to get a meal, targeting the Spirit Corps behind The Celestial Warriors. 0
"Come on—it's all zombies, who’s afraid of whom—" George roared, leading over four hundred Spirit Corps members as they spread their claws and prepared to confront the incoming Soulless. 0
"Protect them!" Sister Jiao An immediately ordered and opened fire, shooting down several zombies at the front. Aibo charged ahead, rushing into the Zombie Horde with an iron anchor raised high, smashing it down onto the zombies on the ground, instantly turning several into mush. The subsequent shockwave surged through the Zombie Horde, knocking dozens of zombies away. 0
However, this seemed like a drop in the bucket; there were too many Soulless, far exceeding Miao Chengmin's expectations. 0
"How is this possible?" the Zombie King questioned the Zombie Queen before him. 0
"While you were still collecting human garbage, I had already started looking for fresh bodies," the Zombie Queen said, deliberately wiping the blood from her mouth. 0
"Ah!" Fierce Eagle and Blue Face Hero simultaneously thought of Tongcun. 0
"You... you are not a righteous soul at all!" the Zombie King shouted angrily. 0
"I certainly am," the Zombie Queen shamelessly retorted, "It is precisely because of righteousness that I chose the right path." 0
"Will being bitten by this thing infect you like in the movies?" Divine Fist asked as he smashed a Soulless's head to pieces, looking at Xiao Kuang who was stringing up several Soulless to kill them. 0
"No! If it did, I would have turned by now!" Xiao Kuang replied. 0
Xu Yicheng was so scared that he shrank back into the nearby woods and dared not move. 0
"Look at them, how ridiculous," the Zombie Queen said while watching the few Celestial Warriors blocking in front of the Spirit Corps. "Always desperately protecting things that will eventually be lost only makes it harder for themselves when they do lose them. Right, Miao Chengmin?" 0
The Zombie King could no longer hold back; he suddenly exerted force in his legs and shot up into the air, transforming into a black light aimed at the Zombie Queen. 0
"Boring." 0
In the face of near-light speed, the Zombie Queen surprisingly raised her hand! 0
A comet shot towards her, followed by a gray-white beam shooting out from where the Zombie Queen was standing. 0
That beam was thicker than the diameter of Miao Chengmin's comet! 0
With a massive explosion accompanying a shockwave, this energy rivaled that of a stellar explosion; the entire mountain trembled! 0
"Mom, look over there!" Xiao Mu pointed at a small white Sun in that direction, so dazzling that everyone had to shield their eyes from its brightness. 0
In that moment when everyone closed their eyes, it seemed they all saw a light piercing through this Sun and sending it far away... 0
"Xuan'er..." Madam Wei opened her eyes tightly gripping her hands together, "You must be okay." 0
On the battlefield, everyone and every corpse stopped fighting; after the light faded, Fierce Eagle and Blue Face Hero looked up at the sky. 0
"Don't look," the Zombie Queen cackled, "He has already been torn apart into reflection particles by me, heh heh heh..." 0
All Spirit Corps members were stunned. The Celestial Warriors engaged in battle quickly pushed away any nearby monsters and huddled together for support. 0
"It’s impossible!" Fierce Eagle exclaimed, "Miao Chengmin can't die so easily!" 0
"What’s impossible about it?" The Zombie Queen coldly stared at him, "This is my power, armored one. So what? Do you still want to resist?" 0

"Brother Miao..." George trembled, his virtual pupils shaking as he covered his face and shook his head vigorously, unable to believe this was real—had their god from the Spirit Corps really been taken down in a single blow? 0

"Retreat," Blue Face Hero said with just two words. 0

"What?" Fierce Eagle looked at him, thinking he must have misheard. 0

"Retreat." 0

"Retreat? What are you talking about? We have to take her down!" 0

"You’re letting your emotions get the better of you, Captain!" Blue Face Hero grabbed Fierce Eagle's arm. "We are not her match!" 0

An Xiaotian unlocked his helmet, his serious face burning with fury. 0

"You’re too scared; I’ll take her on," An Xiaotian said fiercely. 0

"We need to conserve our strength!" Nars quickly pulled An Xiaotian back and shouted towards Aibo, "Time portal, get the Spirit Corps out of here!" 0

Virgil heard this and immediately objected: "I’m not letting them go. You can leave, but they must stay!" 0

Aibo quickly summoned two Time portals, and the Spirit Corps began to push towards them. 0

"Not so fast!" 0

Virgil shot a gray-white wave of energy towards them. Aibo stood in front of the Spirit Corps, taking the hit with his body. 0

Everyone looked up as Aibo's massive form crashed to the ground, a charred mark on his left chest, blue blood splattering from his veins. Aibo clutched his wound in pain but quickly stood up again, continuing to shield the Spirit Corps. 0

"Next shot won’t just hit your body!" Virgil shouted furiously, aiming for Aibo's head. 0

A low hum filled the air— 0

A laser shot came in and struck Virgil's face. Virgil bared his teeth and roared at An Xiaotian, who was holding a battle sword. 0

"Hit me in the face, and you're done." 0

Virgil charged forward—she didn’t use teleportation because she felt that killing a human didn’t require much effort. 0

Just as An Xiaotian was about to engage, Nars pulled him back sharply, and they both tumbled into a nearby Time portal that Nars had summoned. 0

Before leaving, Nars also summoned a Time portal towards Jiao An and the others. They quickly understood his intention and dove inside. 0

Xu Yicheng burst out from the bushes, running frantically toward the Time portal. Lu Sha realized there wasn’t enough time; instead of shooting out a Chain spear, he unlocked it and swung it out to hook Xu Yicheng’s backpack, pulling him in just before the Time portal closed. 0

Seeing that all the Spirit Corps had made it through and his comrades were retreating, Aibo immediately rolled into the portal himself and closed it just as Virgil teleported over. 0

Aibo turned around, looking at their cramped little space, shrugged, and said: "Let’s make do for now, friends." 0
