Sheriff William bid farewell to Agamemnon and Mayor Eldrick at the doorstep of the mayor's house. His face bore a hint of weariness mixed with a satisfied smile, as if silently affirming the cooperation and the results achieved in his heart. 0

The mayor then invited Agamemnon into the house. For a Half Blood, such an invitation was quite rare on the continent. In a world full of discrimination and prejudice, kindness and respect were not common. Agamemnon felt the mayor's sincerity, but he still felt somewhat embarrassed and uneasy inside. 0

When the mayor noticed the giant sword on Agamemnon's back, he hesitated for a moment, intending to ask him to leave the weapon at the door. However, considering Agamemnon's identity and what they had just been through, the mayor ultimately decided not to make this request. 0

The mayor led Agamemnon to the dining table. Agamemnon awkwardly sat in the chair, seeming unfamiliar with such treatment and environment. The mayor busied himself in the kitchen, brewing two cups of rich coffee and placing them on the table. 0

Two people sat at the table, the air filled with the aroma of coffee, but silence dominated the moment. They were each immersed in their own thoughts, occasionally sipping their coffee. Agamemnon's thoughts seemed to drift to a distant place, while the mayor occasionally gazed at this Half Blood, filled with curiosity and respect. 0

The mayor then broke the silence and said, "Don't be so nervous! I can't be scarier than Blood Demon, can I?" The mayor then chuckled. Agamemnon's smile relaxed slightly in response to the mayor's humorous words. He took a deep breath and said with a hint of ease in his tone, "Indeed, compared to fighting Blood Demon, sitting here and chatting with you might be easier for me." His words carried a touch of self-deprecation, but also showed his gratitude for the mayor's friendly attitude. 0

The mayor smiled gently, indicating understanding. He then asked, "Is the Watcher's Gate still producing Half Blood?" 0

Agamemnon set down his coffee cup, with a thoughtful expression on his face, then shrugged lightly, indicating his lack of knowledge on the matter. He said, "I haven't been back for a long time. Since leaving there, I've been a freelance mercenary. So, I don't really know about their current situation." 0

The mayor, slightly surprised, asked after hearing Agamemnon's words, "I see. I originally thought that Half Blood was forever bound by the cult. It's truly unusual that you were able to leave." 0

Agamemnon paused slightly, with a hint of contemplation in his eyes. He slowly said, "There, I learned a lot, but also lost a lot. In the end, I realized that I didn't want to be a mere tool for carrying out orders. I wanted freedom, to determine my own destiny." 0

The mayor listened to Agamemnon's words, his expression becoming more serious, with a hint of respect: "You have chosen a difficult path. But it also proves your courage and determination." 0

Agamemnon nodded, seeming unwilling to say much more on the topic. His eyes revealed a distant memory, as if recalling the day he left the Shadow Watcher. The mayor looked at him with respect and understanding, knowing that every Half Blood had their own story and struggles. 0

The mayor looked at Agamemnon and suddenly asked, "So, where do you plan to go next? You seem to be a person accustomed to wandering." 0

Agamemnon thought for a moment and then replied, "Perhaps I will go to the capital of the Solarius Empire, Orlando. Something happened last night that seemed to hint at some of my past... I want to go there to seek some answers." 0

After listening to Agamemnon's plan, the mayor nodded and said, "Orlando... the center of academia and art? That's a good place! I believe you will find the answers you are looking for there." 0

After finishing their coffee, Agamemnon followed the mayor into a simply decorated room. Although the room was not heavily adorned, it gave off a warm and comfortable feeling. Several landscape paintings hung on the walls, the bed was neatly made, and the sunlight streaming in through the window softly illuminated the floor, making the room appear even brighter. 0

The mayor turned to Agamemnon and said, "Although it's simple here, everything you need is available. If you don't mind, please rest here for a while. You are welcome to use anything in the house." With that, he smiled to indicate that he had other matters to attend to and then left the room. 0

Agamemnon stood in the empty room provided by the mayor, feeling the quiet and comfort of the space. The simple and warm furnishings around him lacked excessive decoration, but each item appeared clean and tidy. He expressed his gratitude for the mayor's kindness, nodded, and indicated that he would rest well. 0

After the mayor left with a smile, Agamemnon was left alone in the room. He set down his heavy greatsword, which seemed to carry all his battles and memories. Then, he gently removed the tight-fitting armor and boots, revealing the prominent scales on his arms. These scales shimmered subtly in the soft light of the room, as if telling the secret of his half-dragon lineage. 0

Agamemnon sat on the edge of the bed, took a deep breath, and felt a long-lost peace. He closed his eyes, allowing his mind and body to slowly relax in this tranquil environment. The experiences of tonight played back in his mind like a tight script. 0

He contemplated Eilleana's words, as well as the secrets and unresolved mysteries of his past. Agamemnon knew that his journey was far from over, and ahead of him lay more challenges and explorations. But at least in this moment, he could enjoy this brief tranquility and rest. 0

Outside the window of the room, the morning sunlight shone through the curtains, bringing a hint of warmth. Agamemnon's mood seemed to brighten and become more peaceful in this moment, much like the sunlight. In this quiet space, he could finally temporarily set aside the burdens in his heart and peacefully fall asleep. 0
