Li Rui was walking in the cave, not knowing how long he had been walking. The surroundings were very similar, with only a few rugged paths that he managed to navigate easily.
Based on his assumptions, considering the distance he had just covered, it was possible that he had crossed one-third of the forbidden area.
However, he had no idea what might happen ahead! As he walked, his heart was pounding, feeling extremely awkward.

With that thought, Li Rui decided to walk down the path labeled 'death', using the fire in his hand to explore everything around him. However, he felt a peculiar sensation; everything around him seemed real yet...

Suddenly! Li Rui noticed a person standing right in front of him, seemingly with nothing in front of this person.

"Senior!" Li Rui called out abruptly, but the person did not respond!

Then Li Rui couldn't help but take a step forward. With a "crunch," it seemed he stepped on something.
He glanced down and saw a stone slab with some writing on it. It looked somewhat like tadpole script, but unfortunately, he didn’t understand it at all. What could it possibly mean?
Suddenly, he did not continue forward but calmly looked at the tadpole characters on the floor, intending to study them. To his surprise, these densely packed tadpole characters suddenly flew into Li Rui's mind, which was extremely bizarre.
Li Rui was startled; who knew what had happened? He had merely stepped on them! Would something eerie enter his body? At least that was what he thought, hoping everything wouldn't be that bad.
Unexpectedly, a figure appeared in his mind, seemingly wanting to convey something to Li Rui. The awkward part was that their languages were completely incomprehensible!
Amidst a flurry of sounds, Li Rui couldn't understand what this person was saying.
It seemed that the person realized this and suddenly slapped Li Rui! The latter was left dazed.
"Now you understand!"
Li Rui nodded slightly but still didn't grasp what was going on. He had just been slapped, and judging by the person's strength, they must be quite powerful; otherwise, how could they easily enter his mind and communicate?
There was a significant distance between the mind and the consciousness sea. At least for now, Li Rui had not reached that level; expanding a consciousness sea required considerable time and resources.
The only thing the mind could do was facilitate dialogue and project the other party's image.
"Are you curious about the current situation? You chose the 'death' path; that's a bit beyond my imagination! Hahaha."
Li Rui began to feel he had made a wrong choice. He hadn't expected the designer to take it seriously; the current situation indeed felt surreal, and from the other party's tone, it seemed he was about to face death.
"I guess you've figured something out. No more words; let's expand your consciousness sea! Success means life, failure means death!"
Li Rui started to feel confused. Expanding the consciousness sea should at least require reaching the Realms of the True Person! Given the current circumstances, it seemed a bit too fast! Moreover, could one really skip two levels?
"Here it comes!" Before Li Rui could react, a voice echoed in his mind.
Immediately, a massive force surged into Li Rui's brain like a flood, nearly sweeping away his consciousness. He gritted his teeth and told himself he had to hold on.
Suddenly, it felt as if his entire brain was no longer his own; this force washed over him, and he couldn't even think clearly about what was happening.
Li Rui began to realize that his consciousness was being engulfed. Everything felt hazy; he couldn't even comprehend the pain, and some areas within his body seemed affected by this energy.
The skin was torn and the flesh was exposed, which was truly terrifying.
At this moment, Li Rui had no idea what to do; he had lost even his own consciousness, let alone control over his body.
All Li Rui could do was watch as this force collided, attempting to seize control of his consciousness. Each time it surged forward and took a moment of dominance, it was immediately scattered by another force! Moreover, once it occupied him, the pain in his body swept through every brain cell like an explosion.
It was truly heartbreaking!
"Is there really no way out? Death? That doesn't exist for me. I still have so many things to do; how could I give up halfway just because of a little difficulty? It's just two major realms, right? I'm going all out!" Li Rui gritted his teeth and persisted, unwilling to give up even the slightest chance.
As time passed, Li Rui faintly felt that his pain seemed to have lessened a bit, making things much easier. It looked like he was on the verge of success!
"Don't celebrate too early; this is just the first step. There are still two more steps to go. Hang in there, young man."
Li Rui was taken aback upon hearing this; there was actually such a situation. His Primordial Spirit had consumed ninety percent during the last collision, and it would take a Lunar Month to recover. Yet he was given such a warning.
