Circle Puff drooled over the dishes presented by Bai Tang, longing to eat them! She had been playing the game for so long, having only eaten a steamed bun, a baked cake, and a bowl of plain noodles, without tasting any meat—mainly because she had no money. Now, seeing the shiny red braised pork, Circle Puff felt her eyes glued to it.
"Boss, how much are these dishes?" Circle Puff asked as she swallowed.
"The braised Wolf Meat, white-cut chicken, braised beef, scallion lamb stir-fry, and Kung Pao chicken are eighty copper coins per plate; Spicy Peanuts are thirty copper coins per plate; and the frosted meat strips are one tael of silver per plate." Bai Tang, noticing the polite and pleasant voice of the girl, opened her eyes to look at her and felt quite favorable, softening her tone a bit.
"That's so expensive!" Circle Puff counted her money with her fingers; she had only one hundred ten coins in total, enough to buy one plate of braised pork and one plate of peanuts. But all the other dishes looked delicious too. "Can't you make it cheaper?"
"If you buy one of each, I can give you a twenty percent discount," Bai Tang offered a discount to someone she found pleasing.
"Twenty percent off!" Circle Puff calculated on her fingers: the braised Wolf Meat, white-cut chicken, braised beef, scallion lamb stir-fry, and Kung Pao chicken cost eighty copper coins each, totaling four hundred copper coins. Adding the Spicy Peanuts and frosted meat strips brought it to five hundred thirty copper coins. With a twenty percent discount, that would be four hundred twenty-four copper coins. She was still short on cash! But she wanted to eat all those dishes! After thinking for a moment, Circle Puff decided to contact her brother. Her brother was really good at the game and surely had more money than she did.
Just after reaching level ten, Youming Gongzi entered the village with three guild members he brought from the keyboard game Six Realms. He received a message from his sister asking to borrow four taels of silver for food. Youming Gongzi knew his sister's gluttonous nature but thought that borrowing four taels of silver for food was excessive! A steamed bun only cost three copper coins, a baked cake five copper coins, and a bowl of plain noodles was just ten coins. What on earth was his sister planning to buy? Was she being scammed?

"Is that your brother?" Bai Tang reminded Circle Puff. If you don’t turn around soon, your brother might slip away.
Circle Puff quickly turned around and saw her older brother. She immediately called out loudly: "Brother, I'm over here!"
Youming Gongzi wiped his face and walked over to the stall: "Fu, weren't you supposed to be collecting herbs? Why are you back in the village? Did you finish your task?"
"No!" Circle Puff felt dejected upon hearing her brother's question. "This task is just too difficult; I can't recognize any herbs! I even specifically logged out to search online but only managed to collect nine types of herbs. I can't find the last one no matter what."
"You logged out and still couldn't collect it?" Youming Gongzi was skeptical. The online encyclopedia was supposed to be helpful.
"Many herbal villages are not nearby the ferry, and I can't defeat the monsters outside the village," Circle Puff said.
Young Master Youming replied, "I'll take you to a remote place to search."
"Don't you need to go to Main City first?"
"Not for now; my sister is more important!"
Circle Puff was delighted and opened her right hand, saying, "Big brother, money!"
"What food costs four taels of silver?" Young Master Youming frowned.
"Look, this is Braised Wolf Meat, this is White Cut Chicken... and these are Hanging Frost Meat Strips," Circle Puff excitedly pointed out to Young Master Youming. "These look so delicious!"

They were relieved that there weren't many players around; Circle Puff and Youming Gongzi's conversation was vague enough that no other players noticed the content of their discussion.
The three of them stared at the food on the stall as if it were treasure.
Wasn't it treasure? Food that added attributes was a must-have for defeating bosses; it could play a decisive role at critical moments.
"I'll buy all this food," Youming Gongzi declared as he emptied his wallet, placing all the food into his backpack. He then eagerly asked Bai Tang, "Do you have any more food for sale?"
"There’s plenty of food left, but it's all ordinary. I don't have any more with attributes," Bai Tang replied casually. "Do you want some? It's half the price of the attribute-enhancing ones."

Dark Destroyer and Ten Thousand Cups Never Get Drunk couldn't withstand Circle Puff's look and her wavering tone, so one of them took out a couple of silver coins and handed them to Circle Puff.

After tidying up her stall on the ground, she waved her hand and left gracefully.
