Until the cool Mecha flew into space, the Staff only then realized: Hey, this powerful Mecha pilot must be the one who saved Captain and their experts, right? 0

Bai Tang was unaware that her identity as the savior had already been discovered by the Staff on the Spaceship. She maneuvered the Mecha in a circle among the stars. The feeling of freely soaring through space was incredible; although she could fly with a sword, this was her first time flying freely in the universe. Due to her strong spirit, Bai Tang's integration with the Mecha was nearly one hundred percent. The limbs of the Mecha felt just like her own, and whatever the Mecha could sense, she could sense as well. Overwhelmed with excitement, Bai Tang almost forgot that she was there to provide support, not just to wander through the galaxy. 0

Flapping her wings, Bai Tang flew toward the battlefield. The Spaceship followed closely behind her. Indeed, Captain ordered the passengers to evacuate in order to engage in battle with the Spaceship. Bai Tang opened the Control Panel, and half of her skills were lit up on the skill board; this was still due to the fly-5 weapon not being compatible. 0

"Hey, Pirates, even if my skills can only be used halfway, I can still make you roll back home in fear!" 0

The Pirates also noticed the suddenly appeared Mecha. The fly-5 model, although not very strong in attack, was fast and posed a greater threat than two battleships combined. Immediately, the Pirates dispatched three Mecha to block Bai Tang, launching a fierce barrage of attacks. Bai Tang skillfully dodged through the web of fire and unleashed a skill that immobilized the three Mecha and their pilots for three seconds. Taking advantage of those three seconds, Bai Tang fired a future-enhanced rocket launcher that dealt additional game skill damage. With a loud "boom," the three Mecha were obliterated in a fiery explosion, creating a massive firework display in space that burned the eyes of the Pirate leader. Damn! The value of those three Mecha exceeded one hundred million Alliance Coins, and now there wasn't even a scrap left. Even if they captured everyone on the Spaceship, it wouldn't make up for the loss of those three Mecha! What a huge loss! The Pirate leader clutched his chest in pain and decided he would ask his employer for an additional commission after this was over. 0

After taking down three Mecha, Bai Tang charged into the crowd of Pirates. One skill wiped out several of their battleships; with a kick, one of her own Mecha turned into a shooting star and disintegrated mid-flight... Was it really this satisfying to crush enemies? 0

Watching as over a dozen Mecha were taken down by this suddenly emerging force and half of their battleships were destroyed, the Pirate leader felt his heart bleed and began to consider retreating, issuing a withdrawal order. 0

"Did we win?" The damage rate of their two large battleships had exceeded eighty percent, and their energy was almost depleted. If the Pirates did not retreat, these two battleships might collapse or be shot down due to energy exhaustion. The surviving Soldiers cheered loudly, looking at the purple Mecha with respect and gratitude. 0

A black Mecha approached Bai Tang, sending a communication request. 0

Bai Tang accepted the call, and a deep male voice came through: "Are you that woman from the dining hall?" 0

Raising an eyebrow, recognizing it was the man who had spoken to her in the restaurant: "That's me!" 0

Hearing this, He Hangtan confirmed that the mysterious power that had enhanced him and his team on the Spaceship definitely came from this female powerhouse. 0

"Thank you!" said He Hangtan, sincerely grateful. "I am Colonel He Hangtan from the Alliance Third Army. I owe you a favor; feel free to ask me anytime." 0

"No need," replied Bai Tang. "Fighting against the Pirates together is fate." She continued, "My name is Bai Tang, owner of both Huaxia Restaurant and Huaxia Eatery. You're welcome to visit my restaurant; I'll give you a twenty percent discount." 0

He Hangtan had heard of the reputation of Huaxia Restaurant and Huaxia Eatery, but since he had been stationed in the military district, he had never eaten at either place. Although food from both restaurants could be purchased online, the supply was limited; with only two thousand portions available online, it was nowhere near enough to satisfy the residents of dozens of planets in the Alliance. Nevertheless, He Hangtan was still craving the food from both restaurants. The meals prepared in the military cafeteria according to the recipes published by Huaxia Restaurant were already a delicacy he had never tasted before. The food from those two restaurants would surely be even better than the cafeteria's versions. 0

"Thank you!" A hint of joy rippled through his cold voice, indicating that even a tough guy could be a foodie. 0

With a loud bang, Bai Tang and He Hangtan turned their attention toward the direction where the Pirates were fleeing. They saw the Pirate's Flagship suddenly explode from within, countless fragments shooting across the brilliant starry sky like meteors, plunging into the abyss of space. 0

"The Pirate's Flagship self-destructed? Was it due to insufficient energy? Or an operational error?" Bai Tang murmured, "Or did they have an internal conflict?" 0

"This Pirate attack on Spaceship is quite unusual!" He Hangtan's voice came through. "I have a feeling that a storm is brewing!" 0

"Are you saying there will be another battle?" Bai Tang asked. 0

"I can't make a judgment right now!" He Hangtan replied solemnly. "But you don't need to worry; war won't break out in the short term." 0

What do I have to worry about? Even if a war breaks out, I can just return to the Twenty-First Century; blowing up a planet here won't affect me. 0

The group returned to the Spaceship with the honor of victory, warmly and sincerely welcomed by Captain and all the staff and passengers. After repelling the Pirates, Captain immediately retrieved the passengers from the Escape Pod. Having faced death and knowing they were safe, the passengers wept tears of joy, expressing their immense gratitude to the heroes who saved them as they gathered in the restaurant to welcome their return. 0

"Madam, thank you for saving my life and that of all the staff; please accept our highest respect!" Captain bowed deeply to Bai Tang along with all the staff. 0

Ah! I've been recognized! Bai Tang thought to herself, slightly turning aside and only receiving half a bow from everyone. 0

"No need for such formalities; I'm on this Spaceship too, saving you is like helping myself," Bai Tang said as she glanced at Captain's right leg, marveling at high technology's convenience. Captain's leg had been shot through and was bleeding profusely, which was quite alarming. Yet in just this short time, Captain was already lively again, showing no signs of injury. 0

"Captain, the rescue team has arrived!" The pilot's report came through Captain's communicator. 0

"I'll go greet them right away!" The captain instructed staff members A and B, asking one to prepare delicious food in the kitchen and the other to organize the personnel to set up the restaurant for a celebratory banquet. 0

"Was there an insider among the pirates causing trouble before?" He Hangtan asked Bai Tang as they sat together in a corner of the restaurant, watching the crowd express their joy and madness: the staff played intense music, and the crowd swayed to the rhythm, dancing wildly and splashing drinks on everyone around them... 0

"Yes, the pirates took control of the central operations room and pressured the captain for the control codes. I happened to encounter them and dealt with those few rats," Bai Tang said, raising his glass for a sip, frowning at the sour taste. Was this wine or vinegar? 0

"Thanks to you, if the spaceship had fallen into the hands of the pirates, it would have been over." 0

"I have a question. Why did the pirates choose this civilian spaceship? Although there are many wealthy people on board, there aren't any real tycoons or influential figures. The pirates wouldn't want to make a losing business deal, right? Also, you and your companions, are you really on vacation? Or are you pretending to be passengers on this ship just to protect something on board?" Bai Tang squinted slightly, a glint of sharpness flashing in his eyes. 0

He Hangtan's eyes narrowed as well, his expression extremely serious: "Military secret, no comment." 0

Bai Tang scoffed: "Well then, I don't need to know." 0

Suddenly, He Hangtan stood up. Bai Tang followed suit in confusion and looked in the direction of his gaze. The captain was walking into the restaurant with a group of soldiers in military uniforms. Three of them looked very familiar; it was Colonel Sean and his subordinates. The captain scanned the restaurant and, upon seeing Bai Tang and He Hangtan, walked over with Colonel Sean. 0

He Hangtan stood at attention and saluted Colonel Sean: "Colonel!" 0

Colonel Sean returned the salute: "He Zhongxiao, you made great contributions in repelling the pirates this time. I will report truthfully and ensure that the military rewards you according to your merits!" 0

"Thank you, Colonel!" 0

Colonel Sean nodded and turned to Bai Tang with a smile: "Bai Tang, long time no see!" 0

"Long time no see! Congratulations on your promotion. The youngest general—your future is limitless!" Bai Tang smiled as they exchanged pleasantries. He never expected that just a few years later, Colonel Sean had already become a major general—impressive! 0

"Thank you very much; in fact, you gave me the opportunity." If it weren't for Bai Tang saving him, how would he have discovered Ancient Earth? How would he have found out about the significant impact and role that Earth's crops had on the Alliance? 0

"If you don't put in the effort yourself, even if I help you, it won't be of any use." The fact that General Kate personally came to rescue him meant that there was definitely something unusual about the spaceship. 0

"I haven't eaten your cooking in a long time. I wonder if I'll get to taste your dishes on this trip?" Kate really missed Bai Tang's culinary skills. 0

Feijie and Simon followed behind Kate, nearly drooling at their general's request. They also missed Bai Tang's cooking. Although they would go back to Capital Star during their breaks to satisfy their cravings at Huaxia Restaurant and Huaxia Eatery, and both places had delicious food, it was only after tasting Bai Tang's dishes that they truly understood what real deliciousness was. 0

"You're quite bold!" Bai Tang rolled her eyes. 0

Kate chuckled mischievously, lacking any semblance of a general's demeanor: "What can I say? We're good friends!" 0

Is it too thick-skinned to ask a friend? Forget it! 0

Bai Tang turned to Captain and smiled, "Captain, may I borrow the kitchen?" 0

"Of course!" Captain nodded repeatedly; how could he refuse his savior? 0

"Then I'll go prepare dinner! Captain, He Zhongxiao, if you don't mind, let's eat together!" 0
