That night, after sending off the guests who had been celebrating in the new house, Wen Xin and Shaoliang, exhausted, began to remove their makeup and prepare for bed. Suddenly— 0

"Ah—" Wen Xin let out a piercing scream. 0

"What happened, what happened?" Shaoliang rushed out from the bathroom. Did his wife see a cockroach again? 0

"My hair..." Wen Xin held a wig in one hand, while the other hand supported it, with many strands of hair scattered on top and some even falling to the floor. On her head, there was barely an inch of stubble left, just slightly longer than a buzz cut. 0

Shaoliang's eyes widened. Even though Wen Xin was good-looking, without a nice hairstyle, her pretty face lost quite a bit of charm. 0

"Why did you cut your hair?" Shaoliang asked unhappily, especially since it looked so bad. 0

"I didn't cut it!" Wen Xin shouted. Any woman in her situation would be furious. "I just took off the decorative wig, and then my hair came off with it." 0

"Could it be the hairstylist's fault?" Shaoliang speculated. 0

"Impossible! The hairstylist is my friend; she has always done my hair." Wen Xin suddenly recalled that cold glint of malice she had encountered earlier. Her heart skipped a beat as she screamed, "It was Bai Tang! It was Bai Tang who cut my hair!" 0

"No way?" Shaoliang was skeptical. 0

"Who else could have a grudge against me?" Wen Xin exclaimed (there were plenty of people who had grudges against you; it's just that none had the capability like Bai Tang). "Didn't I tell you she tried to stab me? It must have been when she cut my hair! You didn't believe me then!" 0

"Really?" Shaoliang began to take his wife's words seriously. Since no one else had touched her hair during their time together, it could only be Bai Tang. Wen Xin wanted to confront Bai Tang; it was normal for Bai Tang to teach her a lesson after being pushed onto the stage by the host. However, for Bai Tang to quietly cut off Wen Xin's hair without anyone noticing... Shaoliang gasped, extinguishing any previous romantic thoughts he had. How could he dare provoke such a formidable woman? 0

"That's it!" Wen Xin slammed her hand on the vanity and stood up. "I'm going to find her and settle this!" 0

"Come back!" Shaoliang grabbed his wife's arm. "Can you beat her?" 0

Wen Xin paused, thinking, when did that woman become so powerful? 0

"We should call the police and have them arrest her," Wen Xin said fiercely. 0

Shaoliang sighed, "The police need evidence to arrest someone. How can we prove that Bai Tang cut your hair? It's been a while since it happened. Besides, even if we caught her in the act of cutting your hair, the police wouldn't take the case; she hasn't physically harmed you." 0

"Cutting my hair isn't considered harm?" Wen Xin retorted angrily. 0

"If cutting hair is considered harm, then there would be no such profession as a hairstylist," Shaoliang quickly reassured Wen Xin, his gaze landing on her messy hair. He quickly looked away; it was too painful to see. 0

Wen Xin puffed up like an angry frog, her cheeks bulging as she fumed. Finally, she deflated and sat down on the bed. "I can't accept this; I have to get revenge." 0

"We can approach it from another angle," Shaoliang casually suggested. 0

This statement sparked an idea in Wen Xin's mind. "Isn't Bai Tang running an Online Store? Let's target that and ruin her Online Store, make her suffer. Hmph, let's see how a poor person can compete with me!" 0

Shaoliang had no objections; after all, they had money! Just one Online Store? They could handle that. 0

"Do you remember the address of Bai Tang's Online Store?" Wen Xin quickly opened her computer and connected to the internet. 0

"How could I possibly remember that?" Shaoliang rolled his eyes. 0

"I'll call Qian Qian." Wen Xin dialed Qian Qian's mobile phone, but unfortunately, Qian Qian was upset because she wanted Wen Xin to help her find a new job, and Wen Xin was too busy to deal with her. Angered, Qian Qian simply ignored her calls. Wen Xin then tried calling Cao Xue, but no one answered. After searching around and asking several high school classmates who had come to the wedding banquet, she finally learned the address of Bai Tang's Online Store from one of them—this showed how little regard these old classmates had for Bai Tang's Online Store and how they looked down on her. 0

With the address in hand, Wen Xin quickly found Bai Tang's Online Store. Then— 0

"How is this possible!?" Wen Xin let out another ear-piercing scream, causing Shaoliang to furrow his brows. 0

"What now?" Shaoliang leaned closer to Wen Xin's ear. Looking at the computer screen, he took a deep breath. His face was filled with shock, "You didn't enter the wrong address, did you?" 0

This Online Store was unusual; just one of the folding screens on the shelf was worth all his assets combined. There wasn't just one screen on the shelf; there were three, along with some expensive decorations and other items, totaling over ten million. 0

"Did you really enter the wrong address?" 0

"No, I've entered it three times, and it's still this page," Wen Xin said, her face equally incredulous. "How could she possibly be this wealthy?" 0

Shaoliang's expression turned serious: "Don't offend her again!" 0

Shaoliang thought more than Wen Xin did. With Bai Tang's impressive skills and such a valuable Online Store, she couldn't be just an ordinary worker's child. Although they might have unknowingly offended her before, her low-key behavior suggested she wouldn't hold a grudge. However, if they offended Wen Xin again now, that would truly be foolish. 0

"Why should I?" Wen Xin retorted angrily. 0

"She’s richer than us and skilled. Do you really think someone with those two traits is just an ordinary person?" Shaoliang said sternly. "I appreciate that you usually know when to back down; I hope you don’t cause me any trouble this time!" 0

Wen Xin felt a lump in her chest; nothing was more difficult for her than bowing down to someone she always considered inferior. But as Shaoliang pointed out, she usually knew when to be sensible. At this moment, she could only curse Bai Tang under her breath but dared not take any action against Bai Tang or her Online Store. 0

"It's too late; let's go to bed!" Tonight was supposed to be their wedding night, but looking at Wen Xin's messy hairdo, Shaoliang felt no excitement at all. 0

Compared to the troubled night of Wen Xin and Shaoliang, Bai Tang also had no rest that night due to receiving a distress call from Cao Xue. 0

"Ha ha, I've been with him for six years, and I never realized he was such a disgusting piece of work." Cao Xue cursed while drinking, "I curse this pair of scumbags to be haunted by ghosts in their dreams tonight. I curse that jerk to never be able to get it up again..." 0

Bai Tang sat quietly beside her, letting Cao Xue vent. She ordered a double juice; she didn't drink alcohol because her tolerance was indeed poor, and also because it would be too dangerous for two single women to get drunk. 0

Cao Xue's situation was quite simple: she had encountered a scumbag who cheated on her and was caught in bed. This afternoon, Cao Xue excitedly returned to the Provincial Capital with the bouquet she had snatched from the bride, intending to surprise her boyfriend and let him share in the joy of the bouquet. But what happened? No surprise, just a huge shock. When Cao Xue opened the door to the apartment she shared with her boyfriend, she found something filthy on the big bed she had paid for—her boyfriend was tangled up with a woman in a compromising position. The woman was someone she knew, a colleague they both shared, and they had a decent relationship. She never expected that this person’s intention was to steal her boyfriend. 0

"That woman isn't as pretty as me, and her figure isn't as good as mine. How could he even be attracted to her?" Cao Xue said angrily. "Looking at their bodies writhing together like maggots makes me feel so disgusted. I even thought that going over there to teach them a lesson would dirty my hands." 0

"So you just let them go like that and ran back?" Bai Tang thought it was too easy on the scumbag and the mistress. 0

"Oh, I took pictures of those two in action; I'm going to post them in our company's internal group chat later." Cao Xue huffed, "I'm not a saint; there's no way I could let them off easily." 0

"Well done!" Bai Tang gave her a thumbs up. How could those two still have the face to stay in the company? 0

"But it will affect you too, right?" 0

"I've decided to resign," Cao Xue said. "Everyone in the company must know about their affair, yet no one warned me. I don't want colleagues like that." 0

"What are your plans after you resign?" Bai Tang asked. 0

Cao Xue took a sip of her drink: "I don't know. I'll take some time off first; I've been busy with work for the past few years, so it's just right to take a break and spend some time with my parents." 0

"That's good; if you need any help, just let me know." 0

"Don't worry; if there's anything I need help with, I will definitely reach out to you." After finishing her drink in one gulp, Cao Xue laughed lightly. 0

"Made, I can't accept this! I wasted six years of my youth on such a scumbag. I must have been blind to have fallen for him." Cao Xue downed another glass of alcohol and slammed her hand on the table, cursing loudly. Fortunately, the bar was quite noisy, and the two of them were sitting in a corner, so they didn't disturb anyone else. 0

"Then open your eyes wide and find a good man, then bring him in front of that jerk to make him jealous," Bai Tang casually suggested, which made Cao Xue nod repeatedly. 0

"I'm not bad looking, and my education and family background are also decent. If I want a man, there are plenty to choose from!" She sighed again, "But there are too few good men." 0

"How about I introduce someone to you?" Bai Tang asked, thinking Sheng Qingxi would be a good match for Cao Xue. 0

Cao Xue waved her hand dismissively: "Forget it, if there really is a good man, keep him for yourself! I’ll find my own man!" 0

"Alright, alright, you find your own." Bai Tang watched as Cao Xue had already drunk too much and went along with her. 0

"I haven't been to church in a long time. Before you broke up, things were going pretty well for me, so I've decided to listen to the Pastor's advice. He said: You shouldn't harbor resentment towards those who hurt you. Sometimes we blame others, but we shouldn't; let God handle it, and just pray for them. I pray that your brakes fail and you roll down a hill. I pray that a vase falls from the windowsill and hits your head just like I hope it would. I pray that no one calls to wish you happy birthday. I pray that the plane you're on loses engine power at high altitude. I pray that all your dreams will shatter..." 0

Cao Xue began to sing loudly. (To be continued) 0
