At first, Xing Xiaokang was unhappy about the arrival of Ai Wanxi, believing that Ai Wanxi was there to take away his grandparents. Bai Tang did not go out with the four of them; instead, she carried a travel bag filled with gifts from ancient times to Dongshan early in the morning. Many tourists visited Dongshan Park on weekends for fresh air. After walking along a mountain path with the crowd for a while, Bai Tang avoided the throngs and headed deeper into the mountains.
Easily passing through the formation of the Dongshan Sect—those who cheat at life are truly impressive; the ancestors of the Dongshan Sect would weep—Bai Tang heard a child's cries.
"Is this child a new disciple of the Dongshan Sect?" Following the sound of crying, Bai Tang approached and saw Yuan Mingyi comforting a child. The child's age was similar to Ai Wanxi's but appeared much weaker; his face and hair were yellowish, clearly malnourished.

Yuan Mingyi's gaze also landed on the bruise with indignation: "Not just one bruise; this child's body has hardly any good flesh left."
"What happened?" Bai Tang asked curiously. She held the child securely in her arms while Yuan Mingyi used a spoon to feed medicine into the child's mouth. The child cried loudly, spitting out half of the medicine. Yuan Mingyi remained undeterred and continued to feed him.
"Spit it out if you must! I've brewed enough medicine for a lifetime; it’s definitely enough to heal you." A hint of pride appeared on the young man's face but quickly faded as he said to Bai Tang: "I rescued this child from a nearby valley. At that time, he was in a state of apparent death, barely clinging to life. If it weren't for my master's exceptional medical skills, this child would have been lost. I don't know who could be so heartless as to abuse such a child and abandon him in these desolate mountains."

"Good medicine!" Yuan Mingyi exclaimed, nearly drooling.
Bai Tang glanced at him and poured a Revitalization Pill from the bottle, handing it to Yuan Mingyi—these pills were sold in bottles in the game store, with three pills in each bottle. "I only have three! This one is for you, make sure to keep it safe; it's for emergencies."
"Thank you, thank you!" Yuan Mingyi said gratefully. In his heart, Bai Tang had risen to be the best person besides his Master.

The familiar catchy tune suddenly played as Bai Tang looked at Yuan Mingyi.
Yuan Mingyi awkwardly scratched the back of his head. "Hehe, sorry, I need to take a call."
Yuan Mingyi took out his phone and rushed out of the room. Bai Tang vaguely heard him say, "Master Chu."
It was a call from Chu Wenchong! Had they found the child's parents? Or had they found the culprit who harmed the child? Bai Tang's heart stirred as he activated his Divine Sense to invade Yuan Mingyi's phone.
