She looked around in shock, momentarily losing her composure.
As the child cried and fussed, the reporters quickly understood what was happening. "Fortress," troubled by this unexpected turn of events, lost his earlier bravado once the reporters left.
"Gu Shisheng" calmly observed everything. His sharp voice carried a dull pain as he said, "I entrusted my daughter to you, and this is how you treat her?"
"Fortress's" face turned from pale to flushed. "No, no, it's not like that." He stammered in an attempt to explain but couldn't find the words.
"Old Master Wei" stepped in to smooth things over. "Mr. Gu, Fortress is indeed being unreasonable. Now that things have come to this point, let's reconcile properly; we can still have opportunities for cooperation in business!"
Gu Shisheng let out a cold scoff, "Cooperation? No need for that. From now on, we won't be giving any orders to the Wei Family!"
The members of the Wei Family were caught off guard by the turn of events and anxiously sought to salvage the situation. Elder Brother agreed with Gu Shisheng's stance, saying, "From now on, our family won't be cooperating with you either!"
After both parties signed the equity transfer agreement, the divorce agreement in front of Fortress became the focal point of everyone's attention.
Gu Shisheng stated, "I'll give you one last chance!" Fortress knew he was serious. The Wei Family was eager to cling to Elder Brother and Gu Shisheng, their two strong allies. They absolutely could not let this excellent business opportunity be ruined by Fortress, that troublesome brat.

Gu Shisheng's indifferent gaze flickered for a moment; his cool red lips were obscured by swirling smoke as he replied vaguely, "Show your skills!"
Fortress seemed to have made up his mind as he steadied himself and reluctantly asked, "Gu Shisheng, tell me honestly—have you slept with her already?"
Gu Shisheng calmly took a drag from his cigarette, looking at Fortress as if he were a clown grappling with such a question. He replied nonchalantly, "Yes."
Fortress seemed to have found an emotional outlet, tears streaming down as he signed, as if he had lost his most precious possession.
After signing, he broke down in tears.
The Wei Family looked on awkwardly at Fortress's uncontrollable emotions, and finally, Huazi took the child and quietly left through a side door of the conference room.
To be safe, the assistant double-checked Fortress's signature and delivered the divorce agreement to Gu Shisheng.
Gu Shisheng took a puff of his cigarette and extinguished it in the ashtray.
He opened the inner pages of the divorce agreement and finally signed it.
After the divorce, I left Sea City with Gu Shisheng. I cherished the moments we spent together. Five years later, we returned to Sea City, and by then, Gu Shisheng and I had a lovely son.
As I drove past the entrance of Wen San Road, I caught sight of Fortress's car waiting at the traffic light. He rolled down his window but remained silent.
