"Ah..." A mournful sound erupted from the sky, shaking the nearby roads as a black whirlwind swept through the air.
Fire Rat was originally preparing to leave Wuyue Mountain, but the sudden scream made him stop in his tracks. He looked down at the ground and immediately spotted his target.
Aren't those the foolish friends of that little girl? Fire Rat squinted at Li Yunyang and Duck, who were tearing at each other on the ground. What was going on? Weren't they supposed to be together? Why were they fighting? Was it infighting?
"Hmph! It seems unrelated to me!" Fire Rat turned to leave, but suddenly caught sight of something out of the corner of his eye. His eyes widened in shock as he saw a four-cornered bronze vessel on the ground nearby. How did it look like the Shennong Ding that Demon Lord was searching for?
He stared at the Shennong Ding in disbelief, and a cold smile gradually crept onto his lips: "Haha, I didn't expect that a loss could turn into a gain. I didn't get the Kongtong Seal and was worried about how to explain it to Demon Lord!"
Li Yunyang was still struggling with the shameless Duck, pulling out his belt to tightly bind its mouth, then thoroughly dealing with it from head to toe, completely forgetting about the Shennong Ding he had tossed aside.
"Hehe, Stinky Duck, let's see if you dare to talk nonsense again!" Li Yunyang sealed its mouth, leaving it unable to make any sound no matter how much it tried to cry out.
"Woo woo woo!" The unfortunate Duck wanted to cry but had no tears. It kept cursing in its heart: Li Yunyang, just wait until I see my sister; I will definitely tell her everything you did!
Suddenly, a powerful black demonic aura shot down from above, making Li Yunyang sense something unusual. He quickly released Duck and turned around to look behind him, but by the time he noticed, it was already too late.
"You are all too careless; you actually left something so important lying around!" Fire Rat was leisurely sitting atop the Shennong Ding, swinging one leg and watching Li Yunyang and Duck on the ground with interest.
Seeing Li Yunyang's shocked expression, a cold smile appeared on Fire Rat's lips: Ah, I see now. You knew I was looking for Shennong Ding, so you prepared it for me in advance, right? Oh dear, you two are really considerate!"
Li Yunyang's heart sank; he had been too careless. If it weren't for this idiot Duck driving him crazy earlier, he wouldn't have let his guard down and allowed Fire Rat to seize the opportunity. Moreover, now this beast was sitting right on top of Shennong Ding; taking it back would be as easy as pie.
"Fire Rat, give me back Shennong Ding!" Without hesitation, Li Yunyang drew his Azure Dragon Sword. It was no joke; if he lost Shennong Ding, how would he explain it to Xiang Xueer? She would surely skin him alive.
"Woo woo woo!" Duck struggled to get up from the ground, only to realize that its mouth was still tied with Li Yunyang's belt. It yanked off the belt and kicked him hard in the back: "Li Yunyang, you idiot, hurry up and get Shennong Ding back!"
"Nonsense, do I need you to tell me?" Li Yunyang unleashed his power, swinging the Azure Dragon Sword directly at the target. A powerful stream of energy gathered on the blade: "Exorcism Essence: Azure Dragon Slash!"
Li Yunyang executed the Azure Dragon Slash technique, and a loud boom echoed through the forest. Within three miles in front of him, everything was flattened by his attack, debris flying everywhere. He quickly searched for any signs of the Fire Rat and Shennong Ding.
"Hahaha!" The derisive voice of the Fire Rat echoed from above. The two looked up to see the Fire Rat looking at Shennong Ding on its shoulder, surrounded by a swirling black vortex, laughing maniacally as it turned and headed down the mountain.
"Damn it!" Li Yunyang ran frantically after the direction of the Fire Rat. It was ridiculous that his attack had no effect on it at all; it was like just scratching an itch.
"Hey, wait for me!" Seeing Li Yunyang persistently chasing after it, Duck hurriedly followed behind. Although chasing this Fire Rat was no easy task, it was still a hundred times better than facing their sister's wrath for losing Shennong Ding!
"You filthy rat, if you have guts, don't run! Stealing from others is no skill at all; let's have a fair fight!" Li Yunyang shouted angrily as he chased after it.
The Fire Rat glanced sideways at the ground and burst into laughter: "You ignorant child, I didn't steal it; I took it! If you want to challenge me, you're not even close to being worthy!"
What? Li Yunyang looked up at the sky. This guy was running too fast; in just a short while, they were already unable to keep up with its speed and slowly lost sight of the Fire Rat.
"Damn it!" Li Yunyang frowned and sniffed around in the air for a long time. There was no trace of that rascal left; it had vanished completely. In frustration, he raised his Azure Dragon Sword and began wildly slashing at the trees in the forest.
Duck sat down on the ground with a mournful face, exhausted and started crying: "We're doomed! Sister is definitely going to kill us both. Li Yunyang, you really got me into trouble!"
What to do? Li Yunyang looked up at the sky, unsure how Xiang Xueer and Kongtong Seal were faring. But having lost Shennong Ding here, he felt he wouldn't even have the face to see anyone again.
He put away the Azure Dragon Sword and resolutely decided to pursue the whereabouts of the Fire Rat alone. "Duck, hurry up and go tell Shirley that I'm going after the Fire Rat. If she gets the Kongtong Seal, she should come find me right away!"
"Wait, what did you say? You, you're going by yourself?" Duck hadn't finished speaking when Li Yunyang took a swift step towards the mountain's base. Duck hurried after him, but at that moment, he couldn't hear anything anymore.
There was no other choice. Li Yunyang felt responsible for the loss of the Shennong Ding and disregarded Duck as he chased after the Fire Rat. Duck sighed in frustration and had no choice but to turn around and rush up the mountain to seek help from Xiang Xueer.
It was truly a troublesome time; just as one wave settled, another rose. Lian Cheng Xue and Gunaara were inexplicably left far behind by Li Yunyang and Duck, becoming increasingly disoriented and unable to find their way.
"Lian Cheng Xue, are you sure this is the right path?" Gunaara stood at a dead end, looking up at the towering peak, confused as she turned to Lian Cheng Xue.
Oh no, they were lost. Lian Cheng Xue scratched his head in frustration; the path up the mountain was very rugged, and Gunaara was practically directionally challenged yet insisted on leading. He regretted listening to her.
What were those annoying Li Yunyang and Duck doing? They had left them behind without a trace, causing them to get lost. He was really worried about how Shirley and the others were faring in their search for the Kongtong Seal.
Seeing Lian Cheng Xue's extremely displeased expression, Gunaara quickly apologized, "I'm sorry! If it weren't for my poor directions, we wouldn't be lost!"
"Well, forget it!" Lian Cheng Xue waved his hand generously and looked up at the still distant mountain peak. "How about we go back the way we came? It's getting dark soon, and if we don't hurry up the mountain, it won't be safe at night!"
"Okay!" Gunaara thought he would be angry but was surprised by his generosity. Noticing that Lian Cheng Xue's right hand was injured, she wondered if something had happened before.
She suddenly felt curious about these matters but had only just met him. If she asked about it, it might touch on painful memories. So Gunaara held back her questions. However, just as she took a step forward, her foot got caught on something, causing her to stumble.
