Xiang Xueer initially wanted to explode; how dare this bastard treat her like this? She held back her anger and finally walked in, then circled around to face him, asking, "Hey, are you going to listen to my explanation or not?"
Li Yunyang raised his eyes and stared directly at Xiang Xueer, asking, "What is there to explain? The rice has already been cooked."
"The rice has already been cooked?" Xiang Xueer was instantly confused. What have I done that it has become cooked rice? She grabbed his chin and scolded, "Hey, I told you before, I have nothing to do with Lian Cheng Xue. Why are you still throwing a tantrum?"
"Nothing to do with? I saw it with my own eyes! You two were sleeping together and still want to argue!" Li Yunyang glared at Xiang Xueer with an angry expression: "People from our side said that if a man and a woman sleep together, they are considered married!"
Li Yunyang meant that as long as they slept together, it was like a wedding night. After being stunned for a while, Xiang Xueer couldn't help but burst into laughter: "Wow, haha, this is killing me!"
It was the first time Xiang Xueer had heard such a funny thing, and it came out of Li Yunyang's mouth. He should have some common sense; how could he think that sleeping together meant marriage? He might as well say they would have children right away.
Xiang Xueer laughed uncontrollably while Li Yunyang frowned at her nearly laughing herself into tears. He darkened his face and shouted, "Have you laughed enough? Am I wrong? Look at others; they only sleep together after getting married and then have children."
"Pfft, ahahaha!" Xiang Xueer laughed even harder now, sitting down on the ground and pounding the floor with her fists, nearly crying from laughter. After a while, when she finally calmed down, she sighed heavily: "Oh my gosh, this is hilarious! It seems I need to educate you properly about this topic!"
"Come on!" Xiang Xueer pulled him outside. Li Yunyang shouted anxiously, "Hey, Dead Girl, where are you taking me?"
"Stop whining and just follow me!" Xiang Xueer dragged him through the bustling entrance. If this were modern times, it would be easy; she would just need to buy a DVD at the night market. But in ancient times, how should she explain this to him?
She glanced sideways and spotted a street vendor selling books. Xiang Xueer walked over and picked up a book to flip through; it was all about the Four Books and Five Classics. "Hey? There’s no book I want!"
"What kind of book do you want?" A lewd-looking old man suddenly poked his head out from under the book stall. He had been sitting on the ground engrossed in reading with stubble on his face and a vacant look in his eyes as he scrutinized Xiang Xueer: "Hmph! My collection is the most complete. If you can't find what you want here, don't even think about finding it anywhere else!"
"Oh!" Xiang Xueer smiled as she leaned closer to the man's ear and whispered, "Do you have any knowledge about that kind of thing in your album?"
"That kind of thing? What do you mean?" The man listened with confusion to Xiang Xueer's exaggerated expressions, completely unable to understand what she was trying to say.
Standing nearby, Li Yunyang scratched his head and asked, "Hey, what exactly did you bring me out here for?"
"Shut up!" Xiang Xueer snapped, turning to glare at him. Why was it so hard to communicate with these people? She stepped forward and stared at the man, saying, "That kind of thing refers to: discussing marital relationships, nightlife, and so on—like pictures of beautiful women bathing or palace techniques...?"
Xiang Xueer counted off on her fingers, listing a whole bunch of things that instantly made Li Yunyang's face turn beet red. The man, after hearing her, looked at the two with a lewd grin and nodded, saying, "Ah, I understand, young couples, haha!"
After saying that, he rummaged through the bottom of the stall and pulled out a book with a nearly torn cover, handing it to Xiang Xueer while raising his eyebrows and laughing, "This will definitely satisfy you!"
Xiang Xueer took the book from the man's hands and flipped through it briefly. Her eyes lit up; wow, it had all kinds of positions. Without hesitation, she pulled out some silver coins and tossed them to the man, saying, "Not bad, not bad; I'll buy this book!"
At this point, Li Yunyang's face was as red as an apple. He grabbed Xiang Xueer and turned to run back toward the inn as if everyone on the street was staring at them with strange looks, knowing they were holding an adult book.
"Hey, don't run!" Xiang Xueer broke free from Li Yunyang's grip, which hurt her hand. "Why are you running? There's no tiger chasing you from behind!"
"You really have no shame; a girl like you actually went to buy this kind of album!" Li Yunyang scolded angrily, which immediately irritated Xiang Xueer. She threw the album at him and said, "What's so shameful about it? Normal people have physiological needs. It's you who doesn't understand anything at your age; that's what's truly shameful! Do you know that?"
Li Yunyang looked down at the album still lying on him and quickly threw it on the ground as if it were covered in germs. "I... I don't want to look at such embarrassing things!"
"Like it or not!" Xiang Xueer said angrily, her face turning pale. Who was she doing this for? She even personally went to buy such things, yet this idiot still didn't appreciate it.
"Big sister, you’re back!" Duck appeared at the door at some point, looking at the two people who were arguing with flushed faces. He rushed over and pointed at Li Yunyang: "Hey, you’re Blackie, aren’t you just angry at my big sister?"
After saying that, Duck looked down and saw the Album on the ground, so he picked it up while asking, "What is this? Whose book is it?"
"Li Yunyang dropped it!" Xiang Xueer pointed at Li Yunyang's nose, then turned and walked towards the door. Just as Duck was about to open the book to see what was inside, Li Yunyang quickly snatched it away in fright.
This Dead Girl actually said it was mine. If this Duck saw what was inside, he would definitely shout it out for the whole world to know, and I would never be able to hold my head up high again.
"Don’t look!" Li Yunyang blushed and quickly stuffed the book into his sleeve. Duck glared at him and shouted, "Alright, you must be hiding a Martial Arts Manual. Let me see it!"
"It’s not a Martial Arts Manual!" Li Yunyang yelled anxiously as Duck fiercely grabbed his sleeve, trying desperately to pull out that so-called 'Martial Arts Manual.'
"Hey? What are these two doing here?" Qingtian happened to come out of the inn with Lian Cheng Xue, and as soon as they stepped out, they saw Duck and Li Yunyang tangled up together.
"Give it to me, give me the manual!" Duck clung tightly to Li Yunyang's thigh and bit down hard, causing him to scream in pain. This was no joke; this was about his reputation—he couldn’t let this Stinky Duck see it.
"Stinky Duck, stop stealing! If you keep it up, I’ll use Azure Dragon Slash!" Li Yunyang prepared to retaliate fiercely, but was tackled to the ground by Duck. As he raised his sleeve, the Album flew out with a whoosh and landed right in front of Qingtian and Lian Cheng Xue with a thud.
"Hey? What good thing is this? These two are fighting like this!" Lan Ran Qingtian looked at the tattered cover of the Album, which had clearly seen better days. Could it really be the 'Martial Arts Manual' that Duck mentioned?
Lian Cheng Xue had sharp eyes and noticed that the bottom of the cover still had two remaining characters: "Manual." "Haha, sure enough, Brother Li has secretly hidden something good. Come on, let’s all take a look together!"
