"I'll go help!" Lan Ran Qingtian also stepped onto the green wind and rushed into the sky, while Li Yunyang shouted in a panic from the ground, "You guys left me all alone here!"
At this moment, Lian Cheng Xue was on the rooftop, having been blown several meters away by the earlier explosion. Looking down, he realized he was plummeting straight towards the ground thousands of meters below. He thought to himself that this was the end for him when suddenly a figure flew down from above and grabbed him. Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be the Ox Demon General.
"Thank you!" Lian Cheng Xue finally breathed a sigh of relief. However, he didn't expect that this Ox Demon seemed to have a good heart; not only did he drink with him earlier, but he also came to his rescue in a crisis.
The Ox Demon pulled Lian Cheng Xue upwards into the sky and set him down on the top floor of an ancient castle, where Li Yunyang was also present. The two finally met.
"Who are you? Let him go!" Li Yunyang saw the Ox Demon and immediately assumed he was a demon holding Lian Cheng Xue hostage. He raised his Azure Dragon Sword and was about to attack when Lian Cheng Xue quickly explained, "Brother Li, don't attack! He means no harm!"
Hearing this, Li Yunyang finally lowered his weapon. The Ox Demon looked up at the chaotic battle in the sky and, feeling frustrated, picked up a wine jug and started drinking. "I finally found the Underground City thinking I could live peacefully, but it seems I'll have to move again."
In the sky, two Holy Ten Exorcists were about to engage in a crucial battle against the Black Dragon Saint Lord. Meanwhile, trouble continued to arise elsewhere.
Location: Inn.
"Don't take another step forward; otherwise, we will go to war!" The two White Tigers angrily warned the returning Lizard Spirit, issuing their final ultimatum.
The Lizard Spirit attempted to cross the Azure Sky's Blood Curse Barrier, but as soon as his foot slightly touched the barrier, he was bounced back far away. "Damn it, what a troublesome barrier!"
"What do you want?" The White Tigers asked as they watched him repeatedly try and get injured by the barrier without stopping.
"I just want to protect her; I don't want to fight with you!" The Lizard Spirit sat on the ground, his feet already covered in blood. The White Tigers asked in confusion, "What is your relationship with Miss Xueer?"
The Lizard Spirit turned his head and corrected them sternly: "Her name is not Shirley; it's Jing Yue. She is my beloved!"
"What? Beloved?" The two White Tigers turned to look at each other in shock at this explosive news and suddenly became interested. "No way! Why does it keep getting more confusing? What exactly is going on?"
"Honey, isn't this Shirley related to our Qingtian? How does she have something going on with this guy?" One of them turned to look at the other with an expression like a gossip reporter eager for juicy news.
Male Tiger shook his head with a smile and said, "I've heard many versions. Anyway, their relationships are all quite complicated."
What are these two tigers talking about? Lizard Spirit looked at the mumbling figure in front of him with a puzzled expression, his green eyes fixed on Xiang Xueer. Suddenly, he clenched his hands, and the ground began to shake.
"I will take her away!" he said slowly. The two tigers sensed something unusual and looked down at the shaking ground, hearing the cracking sound coming from the wooden floor. The bloodstains from the barrier were torn open.
"Uh-oh, the barrier is broken!" The two white tigers were shocked, not expecting that this Lizard Spirit was so determined that he could forcibly break open the Azure Sky's Blood Curse Barrier with his internal energy.
Sweat beads appeared on Lizard Spirit's forehead as he forcefully used his internal energy to shake the barrier open. With a whoosh, he executed a sudden movement and crossed the barrier, arriving at Xiang Xueer's bedside.
The two white tigers were alarmed; they hadn't anticipated such a turn of events. They thought they only needed to guard against Serpent Empress, but unexpectedly, Lizard Spirit had emerged out of nowhere to abduct Xiang Xueer.
His green pupils were filled with deep affection, as if he were seeing a long-lost lover. He gently picked up Xiang Xueer and turned to leave. The two white tigers immediately issued a warning: "Put her down, or we won't be polite!"
Lizard Spirit seemed not to take the two tigers seriously, his eyes focused on the person in his arms as he murmured, "Jing Yue, I’ll take you to ‘Cloud Summit’ to watch the sunrise, okay?"
"This bastard!" The white tigers' warnings went unheeded, and they finally launched an attack on Lizard Spirit. After pouncing forward, Lizard Spirit easily dodged their attack and turned to look at them: "She will be safer with me!"
After saying that, he vanished from the room with Xiang Xueer, startling the two white tigers. They rushed out of the inn to search around but found no trace of Lizard Spirit.
After searching nearby for quite some time, they couldn't even find a scent left behind, let alone any traces. They became anxious: "There's nowhere left to search; what should we do now?"
Qingtian had entrusted Xiang Xueer's safety to the two most trusted white tigers, yet they had lost her right under their noses. They had risked their lives hunting down Black Dragon Saint Lord, and if they returned without her, there would be no way to explain it. Just thinking about it made them feel utterly distressed.
At the same time, Underground City erupted into chaos. The sky exploded with sounds like fireworks as Qingtian shouted frantically and directly unleashed the Seven Character Formula: "Exorcism Essence: Tiger Bite Double Dragons Storm Break!"
As soon as the Seven Character Formula was cast, it was followed by Gu Liu Ma's series of kicks: "Exorcism Essence: Pegasus Meteor Fist!"
The Black Dragon was caught between their attacks; dealing with both of them simultaneously was somewhat challenging. However, for this battle-hardened Demon Dragon, maneuvering between them was still relatively easy.
One must first resolve one issue before moving on! It opened its mouth, and a black shockwave surged forth, causing the surrounding gas to slowly expand until it formed a massive sphere that rushed towards Qingtian.
The sudden onslaught of the enormous gas caught Qingtian off guard. Although he tried his best to dodge, he was still grazed by the powerful airflow.
With a loud rumble, the airflow from the black dragon brushed past Qing Tian's shoulder, heading straight for the top of the ancient castle. Li Yunyang looked up at the incoming attack, tears welling in his eyes; if it hit, everyone’s lives would be in jeopardy.
“Quick, get out of the way!” Lian Cheng Xue shouted loudly, swiftly pushing both Ox Demon and Li Yunyang aside. The ground erupted with a violent explosion, and with a thunderous roar, a large portion of the castle's roof was blown away.
As the thick smoke cleared, Li Yunyang covered his nose with his hand and looked up. The shape of the roof resembled a large piece of cake that had been bitten off; if it weren't for the sturdy construction, the castle would have likely collapsed completely by now.
“Oh my gosh, that was too dangerous!” Lian Cheng Xue exclaimed as she sat on the ground, sweating. The Ox Demon General scratched his head and said, “I think we should leave the castle; otherwise, who knows what will happen next? I don’t want to be buried with them!”
“That makes sense!” Li Yunyang nodded vigorously. This was indeed too perilous. The three of them then headed down from the castle and temporarily helped Heizhu and Cat Demon up to bring them along.
Just as they stepped outside, Gu Liu Ma unleashed a powerful attack against the black dragon with a Seven Character Formula: “Exorcism Essence: Heavenly Horse Northern Dipper Seven Star Fist!”
A flash of white light streaked across the sky. Everyone looked up to see that it formed the shape of the Big Dipper; seven stars aligned in a line, and suddenly it began to rain down like bullets, creating large craters on the ground.
Seeing this, Heizhu quickly raised both hands, surrounding himself with a sphere of black flames that formed a gigantic protective umbrella, safely shielding everyone beneath it.
Screams echoed from above as Myriad Demons were struck down by the rain-like assault of sharp energy akin to Sword One. Many were killed or injured as they scattered in all directions. In just a short time, hundreds of demons from the Demon Army had dwindled significantly. The destructive power was truly remarkable; one person could withstand thousands of troops. As Gu Liu Ma, ranked second among the Saint Ten, was indeed living up to his reputation.
