"Ah!" Ling Zhu quickly withdrew her hand in fright. She frowned at the small creature that looked like a demon, realizing with a shock that it was a Man-Eating Mushroom. This plant, known as the Man-Eating Mushroom, was excellent at camouflage; just moments ago, they had disguised themselves as Lingzhi, waiting for someone to fall for their trick before capturing their prey. 0

Tch, how could one let their guard down? I almost had my finger bitten off by this thing, Ling Zhu cursed silently. Just as she was about to leave, suddenly, the group of Man-Eating Mushrooms around her opened their mouths and made hissing sounds. The moment she moved even slightly, those little demons would swarm her. 0

Ling Zhu quickly froze in place, standing still. Suddenly, her foot slipped, and her body began to fall rapidly toward the cliff below. The Man-Eating Mushrooms growing on the cliff rushed toward her like mad. 0

"Ah!" Ling Zhu hurriedly raised her hands to shield her face. As a result, her body lost balance entirely, and she fell off the cliff. After a few heavy scrapes, she lost consciousness. 0

The situation was not going smoothly for the others in the Underground City, who were all caught in fierce battles. Meanwhile, Ling Zhu's fate after falling from the cliff remained uncertain. Inside the inn, Xiang Xueer was still unconscious but engaged in a psychological battle with the Witch within her. 0

It was either you crush me or I drive you insane; after all, two tigers cannot coexist on the same mountain. Not to mention two strong-willed women in such a confined space would either fight until blood flowed or compete for dominance. 0

"Ah, you are truly useless! You actually let two tigers protect you; how embarrassing!" The Witch continued to try to breach her mental defenses. However, Xiang Xueer sat on the ground meditating, trying to calm her mind. 0

"Witch, you don't need to keep calling out; I won't fall for your tricks!" Xiang Xueer slowly closed her eyes and took a deep breath, deciding to shut her mouth first and then block out her ears. 0

The Witch crossed her arms and placed a hand on Xiang Xueer's shoulder, slowly turning around: "The human heart is so fragile; with just a little prodding from the side, it can't help but break!" 0

Xiang Xueer ignored her and continued meditating with her eyes closed. The Witch squinted at Xiang Xueer's tightly shut eyes and suddenly sneered: "Ah, avoiding me, huh? It doesn't matter; once my father breaks out of the Demon Prison Tower, your body will be mine. I wonder how I should torment you?" 0

"Ah!" She clapped her hands excitedly: "First, I'll kill your most important person next to you and then slowly torture you. Hmm, who should I start with? Lian Cheng Xue? Lan Ran Qingtian? Or Li Yun?" 0

Xiang Xueer's brows furrowed sharply as she finally opened her eyes. Her black pupils glared angrily at the Witch before her. Upon seeing her expression, the Witch burst into laughter: "Hahaha! Weren't you very calm just now? Can't hold it in anymore?" 0

This bastard is deliberately trying to make me angry. Xiang Xueer sneered, "I said, Witch, are you really that lonely? You have to drag me into a conversation? But you really are pitiful; the feeling of being unloved must be terrible, right?" 0

"What did you say?" Witch glared at Xiang Xueer with furious eyes, the veins on her forehead bulging. It seemed that Xiang Xueer's words had hit a nerve, and she felt quite pleased: "No wonder, with a personality like yours, it's no surprise you don't have any men around; you're probably going to have hormonal imbalances sooner or later!" 0

"Slap!" Witch reached out and gave Xiang Xueer a hard slap. Xiang Xueer touched her stinging cheek and raised her head with a victorious expression: "Are you angry? Looks like I was right; you’re just an old woman who can't get married!" 0

Witch's face turned completely dark. It turned out every woman has their own hidden insecurities that they don't want others to know. Xiang Xueer was in high spirits, humming a little song with a mocking tone: "Loneliness of one person, fault of two; why choose me if you love him? A promise made with no outcome, leaving me deeply trapped in the whirlpool of emotions..." 0

In the end, Witch finally lost interest in her and turned to leave. She intended to torment Xiang Xueer but ended up being the one who disappeared without a trace. 0

Guarding in the inn room were two white tigers. One was lying on the ground dozing off when it suddenly perked up its ears and opened its eyes to look at the other: "Honey, did you hear that? It sounds like someone is singing." 0

"Singing?" The other tiger turned around in shock to look behind. It turned out to be Xiang Xueer lying on the bed, mumbling something that sounded like singing. 0

"How leisurely!" The two tigers sighed. Suddenly, a loud bang came from the window as the wind blew it open, startling both tigers into alertness. 0

The air gradually began to fill with thick mist. On this night, what worried them most was the possibility of demons launching a surprise attack. Immediately, both tigers stood up and fixed their gaze on the open window, preparing for defense. 0

A green figure flashed by the window. Before the two tigers could react, the figure had already entered the room. One of them quickly turned around, bending down and taking an offensive stance: "Who are you?" 0

The man appeared to be in his twenties, with eyes as green as emeralds and wearing a deep green long robe. His black hair was slightly raised at the back of his head. Beneath his high nose bridge were tightly closed thin lips. His eyes were fixed on the unconscious Xiang Xueer as he prepared to step forward when suddenly he triggered a blood curse barrier beneath his feet, causing his legs to bounce back. 0

The mysterious man who suddenly appeared was none other than the Lizard Spirit from the last battle at Ruined Temple. The white tiger quickly dodged aside and issued a final warning: "Don't take another step forward; otherwise, I won't be polite!" 0

The Lizard Spirit seemed to have no malicious intent as it turned and sat on a nearby chair, its pair of green eyes gazing intently at Xiang Xueer. "Don't worry, I mean no harm; I just want to protect her!" 0

Protect her? The two White Tigers exchanged glances. What exactly was this creature, or rather, what kind of Demon was it? Even if it claimed to have no ill intentions, they dared not relax their guard and kept a close watch on this unexpected guest. 0

Li Yunyang had been intruding into the Underground City for an entire day. By dawn, everything here had returned to calm, and the Lizard Spirit had quietly left the inn at some unknown time. 0

Meanwhile, on Bai Ling Mountain, the Platypus, trapped halfway up the mountain, woke up with bubbles coming from its nose. It opened its eyes to find that the sun had already risen. It bounced out from a pile of dry leaves and looked up at the towering peaks that pierced the clouds, feeling a bit worried about Ling Zhu. Was she okay? Had she managed to obtain the Thousand-Year Ganoderma? 0

At that moment, on Bai Ling Mountain's cliff, a cold breeze hit Ling Zhu's cheek as she slowly opened her eyes, her body aching as she shifted slightly. "Ah, it hurts so much!" 0

Falling from such a high cliff was no joke; surviving was already a miracle. She looked up at the vast mountain peaks and suddenly began to worry. "It's so high; how am I supposed to get back up?" 0

She fumbled around until she found a small path leading up the mountain. After taking a few steps, she discovered a cave. The wind blowing from inside seemed to indicate that it led somewhere outside. Ling Zhu figured that this might be her way out and walked into the cave. 0

The walls were not very high but appeared to be carved with various incomprehensible patterns and symbols. Ling Zhu lit a torch and walked while observing. It seemed like the walls depicted various demons being subdued, illustrated as murals. Most importantly, in every painting, there was a gourd-shaped object. She focused on the gourd and noticed three characters written on it: Luring Demon Pot. 0
