"Don't worry, they are quite gentle and usually won't attack humans!" Gu Liu Ma said, and with a gust of Azure Wind beneath his feet, he sat atop the Zhongming Bird. Seeing this, Qingtian and the others also climbed onto its back.
The Zhongming Bird flapped its wings and began soaring through the sky. Soon, they reached the Moon City across from them, where a black ancient castle loomed high into the clouds. Qingtian looked down at the pairs of demons patrolling below in the West and frowned slightly: "It seems that after your last commotion, the Black Dragon has indeed strengthened its defenses."
Gu Liu Ma squinted as he scanned the military base of the Black Dragon, revealing an excited smile: "No wonder we couldn't find this beast for over a hundred years; it turns out it found such a good place to hide!"
While they were still surveying the area, a pair of cold eyes at the very top of the ancient castle had already detected their intrusion. Suddenly, a massive axe swung toward them in mid-air, an unanticipated danger closing in on them.
"Hmm?" Gu Liu Ma's brow furrowed slightly as he was the first to sense the crisis. The Zhongming Bird, his mount, flapped its wings lightly and effortlessly dodged the attack from the giant axe.
"This is bad; we've been spotted right after arriving. What terrible luck!" Li Yunyang cursed under his breath. The group turned to look at the top of the ancient castle, parting the swirling mist to see an Ox Demon standing on the rooftop with a wine gourd in one hand. With Red Eyes glazed over from drunkenness, it gazed at them with apparent disinterest in fighting.
The giant axe that had just flown by seemed to have a mind of its own; after circling around, it returned to the Ox Demon's hand. Without even looking, it casually grasped the axe.
"What are you people?" it slowly lifted its eyelids and stared at the four atop Zhongming Bird before taking another swig from its wine gourd and grumbling: "What a hassle! I just want to drink in peace but can't find a place!"
Lian Cheng Xue squinted at the Ox Demon, noting that it stood at least two meters tall with a strong build. It had an iron ring hanging from its nose and wore a Black Cloak. Just by looking at its attire and weaponry, it was clear that this fellow was one of the four generals under the Black Dragon.
"Hmph! This is good; let's resolve this quickly and save Xiang Xueer!" Li Yunyang was about to get off Zhongming Bird. "I'll handle this; you all go find Black Dragon Saint Lord!"
Upon hearing this, Lian Cheng Xue reached out to stop Li Yunyang: "Let me take care of this first; you all go ahead!"
Qingtian watched him volunteer with concern and asked, "Lian Xiong, are you really okay alone? How about I stay behind with you?"
"Lian Cheng Xue" said as he stood up, and "Zhongming Bird" carried him towards the ancient castle across from them. He leaped and landed steadily on the castle's roof. "No need, I can handle this alone. Don't worry, I'll catch up with you soon!"

Lian Cheng Xue slowly sheathed his sword, calming his somewhat chaotic breathing, and a victorious smile crept onto his lips: "Hmph! Looks like I've dealt with him!"
He walked to the edge of the ancient castle and glanced down, but there was no sign of the Ox Demon. Had he been knocked out of sight? Lian Cheng Xue secretly rejoiced and turned to leave: "I should go find Qingtian and the others; luckily I made it in time!"
"Who are you saying you've dealt with?" A deep voice suddenly called out as Lian Cheng Xue quickly turned around. The Ox Demon, who had just been sent flying by his attack, appeared behind him completely unscathed.
