"Woo woo woo!" She lay tilted at the head of the bed, crying loudly. The Black Dragon Saint Lord stared at her tear-streaked face and immediately lost interest, shouting angrily, "No more crying! If you cry again, I'll eat you right now!"
The girl, frightened, covered her mouth with her hand. His eyes kept wandering over her beautiful body as he leaned down, a clawed finger gently pinching her terrified little face. "Don't be afraid. I will take good care of you right now and guarantee you'll feel so good you'll wish to die!"
Suddenly, there was a loud knock on the door that interrupted the Black Dragon Saint Lord's good mood. His expression darkened as he turned and grabbed a sheet to wrap around himself. "Come in!"
At the door, a cat-headed demon pushed open the door and looked at the woman lying on the bed with a sideways glance, apologizing, "Holy Monarch, I'm sorry to interrupt your meal!"
"It's the Cat Demon! Why are you here in person?" The Black Dragon rested his chin on one hand, looking at him with confusion. The Cat Demon was his second-in-command; he would never come to see him unless it was something important.
The Cat Demon sighed with a pout. "Holy Monarch, you're really in high spirits. There's such a commotion outside, and you're still calmly having a midnight snack. It's unbelievable!"
"Hmm?" The Black Dragon frowned and got up to approach the closed window. He opened it and looked outside, only to see smoke and fireworks filling the air. He couldn't help but frown again. "What’s going on?"
The Cat Demon slowly walked over and stood behind him. "Just now, there were suddenly fireworks everywhere. Our troops were scattered in panic, shouting that divine punishment had come down upon them. I think there must be intruders. Of course, the other three generals have already started searching in the fort."
"Intruders? Interesting!" The Black Dragon crossed his arms over his chest. "It's been over a hundred years since anyone dared to enter my Moon City territory. Go find out who is causing trouble!"
"Yes!" The Cat Demon turned and left the room. Inside, the Black Dragon leaned against the window, calmly admiring the scene outside. Suddenly, an excited and strange smile appeared on his lips as he licked the bloodstains left at the corner of his mouth. "Ah, this is getting me a bit excited; it's been a long time since I've encountered something this interesting!"
After saying that, he waved his hand, and his clothes were instantly put on neatly as he turned to walk towards the door. Suddenly, he stopped in his tracks and turned to look at the trembling woman on the bed, sneering, "Darling, just wait here for me obediently. I'll come back to take care of you later."
The woman sobbed and bit her lip hard upon seeing his red pupils contract in fear as she responded softly, "Yes, Holy Monarch!"
"Found it!" Taotie quickly located the girls imprisoned in the Celestial Prison thanks to its keen sense of smell. There was no one at the entrance, allowing them to enter the Celestial Prison smoothly.
Endless iron cages stretched before them, containing hundreds of young girls. Xiang Xueer couldn't help but widen her eyes in shock. "Oh my god, this group of damned Demons has kidnapped so many girls."
"Hey, can you hear me?" Lian Cheng Xue approached and looked closely, waving her hand in front of them. The girls inside the cage all wore blank expressions, sitting there emotionlessly with vacant stares as if their souls had been taken away, leaving only empty shells behind.
"They've all been subjected to the Soul Binding Spell. You don't need to say anything; they can't hear you at all!" Taotie estimated the number and shook its head. "This is not good; there are too many of them. We can't take everyone!"
"What should we do? We can't just leave them here; it's too dangerous!" Xiang Xueer said anxiously as she looked at them. They had finally managed to sneak in, and the commotion outside was escalating. They had to take them away.
"Taotie is right. Since we've found these girls, let's go back and think of a plan!" Lian Cheng Xue said, pulling her along. "Shirley, I know you're worried about them, but we should leave first. We won't be able to leave once it gets light. Let's go back and discuss with Qingtian, Brother Li, and the others!"
Xiang Xueer sighed quietly; for now, she could only follow Lian Cheng Xue's suggestion. So, the three of them prepared to exit the Celestial Prison. Just as they reached the door, Taotie suddenly stopped and whispered cautiously, "Not good; there's someone at the entrance!"
"Someone?" Lian Cheng Xue stood in surprise as Taotie furrowed its brow and sniffed the air carefully. "This is troublesome. There are five people in this castle—no, five demons—heading our way!"
"What do we do?" Xiang Xueer frowned as she listened to the footsteps getting closer at the entrance, cursing inwardly, "Taotie, give me the positions of the other four!"
"Yes!" Taotie replied. "There's one at the top of the tower about three miles away from us. There are three more below in the east, west, and south directions, but they're all quite far—about five miles away!"
Xiang Xueer looked around at their surroundings; there were messy weeds and wooden stakes everywhere, seemingly suitable for an ambush. She pulled out a dagger from her body. "There's no other choice; we have to deal with this one at the entrance first and then get out quickly!"
After saying that, she pointed at the ceiling and leaped onto a beam above. Lian Cheng Xue nodded, drew her Black Iron Sword, and together with Taotie, they hid behind the wooden stakes and haystacks.
The footsteps finally stopped at the door. Xiang Xueer held her breath. With a creak, the door was pushed open, and a figure slowly walked in, its red pupils scanning the environment inside the Celestial Prison.
Hmm? A cat? Or is it a Garfield? Xiang Xueer frowned as she looked at the swaying head, along with a few striped cat hairs, dressed in a long black robe and holding a curved blade that was as long as an arm.
"Hmph!" The Cat Demon’s lips gradually curled into a crescent-shaped smile. It stood still, its eyes beginning to search the area like a hawk: "A bunch of cockroaches, if you have the guts, don't hide!"
Dare to call me a cockroach? Before Xiang Xueer could make a move, Lian Cheng Xue, who was hiding behind a pillar, could no longer contain himself. He raised his Black Iron Sword and dashed out, thrusting the sword towards the Cat Demon.
With a 'whoosh', the Cat Demon remained motionless as the Black Iron Sword pierced into its body. Lian Cheng Xue didn't expect this creature to be so slippery; it easily dealt with him. He sneered, "What? Turns out to be just a little brat."
"Who are you calling a little brat?" Lian Cheng Xue was startled; he didn't know when a voice had appeared behind him. Turning around in fear, he found that the Cat Demon had reappeared.
Xiang Xueer widened her eyes in surprise. Lian Cheng Xue had clearly struck it, yet that creature appeared behind him. She glanced over and saw a leaf slowly drifting down to the ground. No way! This guy is using illusion techniques, just like a Japanese ninja.
With a 'smack!', the Cat Demon wore a sinister smile and grabbed Lian Cheng Xue by the neck, effortlessly lifting him into the air: "I thought you were some kind of powerful character who turned my Moon City into a mess; I didn't expect you to be just a cripple. What a waste of my feelings!"
"Cough cough cough!" Lian Cheng Xue couldn't retaliate. The Cat Demon was very tall, even towering over the already tall Lian Cheng Xue by an entire head. His vision began to blur, and the Black Iron Sword slipped from his hands, leaving him without any strength to fight back.
"Hehehe!" The Cat Demon laughed coldly, opening its mouth filled with sharp fangs. With a thud, it pressed him against a wooden stake and extended one claw that was as sharp as a curved blade, preparing to gut him.
