The shopkeeper laughed upon hearing this and gave a thumbs up, exclaiming, "This Black Dragon King is indeed a Holy Monarch! The Underground City has been established for a hundred years, and to this day, the weather is favorable and the country is peaceful!"
The two exchanged glances; if that was the case, the Black Dragon Saint Lord wasn't too bad. But wasn't it the case that it had once caused chaos alongside the Demon Lord? Could it have truly turned over a new leaf? It all sounded a bit unbelievable and somewhat strange.
"Lian Cheng Xue, do you think that the Black Dragon Saint Lord might have built this Underground City just to become king?" Xiang Xueer expressed her skepticism, finding it hard to believe that such a figure could live so quietly.
Xiang Xueer pouted and shook her head, sneering as she said, "Hmph, I feel like there must be some hidden truth here. It's definitely not as simple as we imagine. It seems the common people don't know that this guy is out there abducting beautiful women and living a carefree life. What a good ruler he is!"
"Big sister, look, it's them!" Platypus pointed at the street across from them where Lan Ran Qingtian, Li Yunyang, and that Filling had also entered the Underground City.
"Shh! Quickly hide!" As soon as Xiang Xueer said this, the three of them quickly crouched under the table. "Looks like they made it in too!"
"Let's gather some information first!" Lan Ran Qingtian said while removing his formal attire and searching for the markings left by Xiang Xueer. A glance at the corner revealed a plum blossom-shaped mark drawn on the wall, and he immediately understood it was left by her.
It seemed they were nearby, but since they hadn't figured out the identity of the woman yet, it was best not to meet for now. He turned to look at Li Yunyang, who was being clingy with Ling Zhu, pouting as she asked, "I wonder if my sister and the others have come!"
Upon hearing Xiang Xueer’s name, Li Yunyang felt extremely displeased but was also concerned. He pushed her hand away forcefully and said, "I told you not to cling to me all the time; it's so annoying!"
"Let's find a place to stay first!" Qingtian led the two towards the opposite side. As they watched the three walk away, they finally emerged from under the table.
"Then let's make a plan!" Lian Cheng Xue suggested. "Shirley, let's head to Moon City first; our mission is to rescue those abducted girls."

Platypus gulped nervously. "Big sister, maybe I shouldn't go; I'll just stay home and watch over things!"

"I... I'm not scared!" Platypus immediately denied it, glaring at Lian Cheng Xue and shouting, "Don't underestimate me! I'll go and show you how powerful Duck is!"
The three began packing their bags and set off towards Moon City. Before long, there was a rhythmic knock on their guest room door—three sharp knocks. A smile appeared on Xiang Xueer's face as she opened the door to find Qingtian standing there.
"What’s up? Any discoveries?" Xiang Xueer asked as Qingtian followed her inside. "Indeed, there are some interesting things. Last night I discovered Ling Zhu went to a forest in the suburbs where she met a very young monster. However, it was too far away for me to hear what they were saying."
A very young demon? Xiang Xueer immediately realized something and quickly asked, "The young demon you mentioned, is it Blue Eyes, with hair styled like a pickled cabbage?"
Lan Ran Qingtian nodded after hearing this, "Yes, do you know it?"
"I know it, have known it for a long time!" Xiang Xueer sneered, "Its name is Heart Demon, the most capable general under the Demon Lord. Back in the day, it was renowned alongside the Black Dragon Saint Lord."
"Such a powerful demon, why would it let Ling Zhu infiltrate our ranks?" Lian Cheng Xue found it very strange, "Could it be for the Black Dragon Saint Lord of Underground City?"
Xiang Xueer fell into deep thought. The Heart Demon, that scoundrel, was indeed not willing to let go of me; it actually wanted that Filling to enter our midst to gather information about me. Hmph! This guy is even more detestable than a fly.
Having already figured out her background, what exactly were they plotting? It was truly puzzling. Everything had become very strange; as she journeyed along, hunting countless demons, she felt that there was some strange force guiding all of this.
"Shirley! Shirley!" Lan Ran Qingtian waved his hand in front of her eyes, bringing her back to her senses. "Shirley, I’m heading back. Be careful on your way; we will arrive shortly!"
"Okay! You take care too!" After bidding farewell to Qingtian, Xiang Xueer packed her weapons and arrived at the border between Moon City and Sun City. Here, sunlight shone brightly overhead while moonlight enveloped the other side.
"What a magical place," Xiang Xueer sighed as she looked up at the cliff between the two places, resembling a giant chasm dividing the two cities of sun and moon.
The cold wind blowing from below the opposite cliff sent chills down her spine; she recalled what the pharmacy owner had said: Moon City was heavily guarded and patrolled daily.
"Oh! It's so high; if you fall down, you'll definitely die!" Platypus leaned over the edge of the cliff and looked down for a long time. Staring into the bottomless black hole made him gulp nervously.
Xiang Xueer frowned as she gazed at the seemingly endless Moon City and slightly furrowed her brow. "What heavy demonic energy! Just the wind carrying it here is thick with its scent."
Lian Cheng Xue wrinkled her nose and sniffed in the wind. Shaking her head at Xiang Xueer, she asked, "Why can't I smell anything?"
After hearing this, Platypus also stepped forward to sniff and sighed, "Sister is right; there are at least hundreds of them, if not more. Shouldn't we just avoid going there?"
Hmph! Xiang Xueer snorted coldly and quickly formed hand seals. Then she bit her finger and with a 'bang,' struck the ground. The earth rapidly cracked open as Taotie emerged from the mist.
"Long time no see!" Taotie turned to look at its surroundings. "What place is this? Why is there such heavy demonic energy over there?"
"This is Underground City!" Xiang Xueer pointed at the vast cliff across from them. "What do you think? Can you carry us over?"
Taotie assessed the distance: "It should be fine, but the Killing Intent ahead is heavy; it won't be easy to get through!"
"Don't worry, I have a plan!" Xiang Xueer and Lian Cheng Xue jumped onto Taotie's back and flew towards the cliff, heading for Moon City.
After flying for about ten minutes, the sky grew darker. The three looked around but could see nothing ahead or on either side; they had no idea how far apart the two cities were. All they felt was the chilling wind and the increasingly dense aura of monsters.
The cold wind made Xiang Xueer shiver. She patted Taotie's back and said, "Once we get close, don't go up right away. Let's check out the situation around first!"
"Okay!" Taotie replied and quickened its pace, faintly spotting the cliff's steep wall in the distance.
"It seems like we've arrived!" Lian Cheng Xue said as she turned her head. The Platypus, who had been sitting behind them just moments ago, had vanished again. She cursed, "That Stinky Duck always runs off when it's time to work!"
"Don't mind it; it wouldn't be useful anyway!" After Xiang Xueer finished speaking, Taotie circled around the cliff for a while. The mist swirled, and the moonlight couldn't penetrate through, making it impossible to see anything.
After discussing for a while, they decided to take the risk and check above the cliff. A crescent moon hung in the sky, shining through the leaves and creating shimmering reflections on the ground.
"I didn't expect there to be a forest above the cliff?" Once they landed, the three carefully surveyed their surroundings. It was quiet, and in front of them was a circular military base that resembled a fortress, brightly lit inside. From the looks of it, this should be the headquarters of Black Dragon Saint Lord.
Xiang Xueer looked up at the sky; it would still be a while before dawn. She patted Taotie: "No need to look for an entrance; let's go for a surprise attack!"
"A surprise attack?" Lian Cheng Xue craned her neck to look at her and asked, "Do you have a good plan?"
