"I always find it strange that this woman suddenly seems to have come to terms with things. What exactly did you say to her?" Lian Cheng Xue looked at Li Yunyang in confusion. He quickly changed the subject, pulling out a map to check: "To get from Wuli Po to Shili Slope, we must pass through this swamp. The journey is quite long, so we need to be careful!"
Just thinking about how he had previously gotten stuck in the swamp and had to grab that snake to get out made him feel uneasy.
After buying enough food and water, the four of them headed towards Shili Slope. Before dawn, they arrived near the swamp.
Xiang Xueer led the way, using a bamboo pole to probe ahead, while the others followed closely in her footsteps to ensure safety. However, as darkness approached, they could only find a safe patch of ground and wait until morning to continue.
The forest and swamp in the night resembled traps set by demons, with gaping mouths waiting for prey to step into the mud. The campfire blazed brightly when suddenly a cold wind blew through, extinguishing the dancing flames in an instant.
Everyone was immediately startled awake and cautiously huddled together as thick white mist began to envelop the surrounding forest.
"Not good! There are demons!" Platypus shouted, his fur standing on end as he quickly hid behind Xiang Xueer.
Suddenly, a sound came from outside the thick white mist, and through the haze, they could vaguely see a woman's figure darting past. Li Yunyang drew his Azure Dragon Sword from his back and chased after the figure: "Serpent Empress, stop right there!"
"Wait, don't chase!" This idiot, Xiang Xueer cursed inwardly. There were traps everywhere; it was reckless for him to rush forward like that. Reluctantly, she said to the two behind her: "I'll go after him. You two stay here and don’t wander off; it would be troublesome if I can’t find you when I come back!"
"Okay! Be careful!" Qingtian quickly reminded her as Xiang Xueer dashed into the mist in pursuit of Li Yunyang. In a panic, Platypus followed suit: "Sister, sister, don’t leave me behind!"
"Damn it, where did this idiot run off to?" Xiang Xueer thought she was right behind him but had somehow lost track of Li Yunyang. Standing still and looking around at the mist, visibility was so low that she could barely see a few meters ahead.
Suddenly, she spotted a figure moving not far away. She slowed her pace and called out tentatively: "Li Yunyang? Li Yunyang? Where are you?"
"Dead Girl! I'm over here!" came Li Yunyang's voice from not far away. She hurriedly pushed through the bushes and saw that this guy had fallen into a hunter's trap, with one leg caught dangling from a tree branch, his face flushed as he shouted in panic.
This idiot! Xiang Xueer helplessly untied the rope from the tree. With a thud, he fell down from the tree, dazed and seeing stars: "Hey, that hurt! Can't you be a little gentler?"
"Want someone gentle? Then go find Filling!" Xiang Xueer crossed her arms and rolled her eyes in annoyance, turning to leave.
"Hey!" Li Yunyang scrambled up from the ground, stepped forward, and grabbed Xiang Xueer's arm. "Are you still mad? Ling Zhu has already left, right?"
"I'm not angry at all!" Xiang Xueer turned her head away nonchalantly. "Don't go around telling people I'm your fiancée. Whether you want to find Filling or dumpling filling has nothing to do with me."
Li Yunyang stared at her face with his sharp eyes for a long time before he chuckled. "You say you're not angry, but you reek of jealousy. It's suffocating!"
Suddenly, Xiang Xueer's face flushed, and she shook off his hand. "Don't be shameless! What kind of man do I want? I don't need to be jealous of you. Get out of my way!"
"I won't!" Li Yunyang stood firm, blocking her path. Frustrated, Xiang Xueer executed a quick move and pinned him to the ground, causing him to cry out in pain.
"Ah, it hurts! My hand is broken, it's broken!" Li Yunyang lay on the ground, unable to move from the pain. Xiang Xueer frowned at his expression. No way, I didn't use much force. She reached out and patted him. "Hey, get up quickly; stop pretending!"
Li Yunyang chuckled softly, then suddenly pulled her arm hard. With a 'thud,' Xiang Xueer fell forward into his embrace.
By the time she realized what had happened, she was already wrapped in his strong arms. "If you don't like other women clinging to me, then I won't allow you to talk to Qingtian or Lian Cheng Xue!"
"What?" Xiang Xueer frowned at him. How did this conversation shift to Qingtian and Lian Cheng Xue? She struggled to push him away. "It's dangerous here; stop messing around and let me go!"
Suddenly, Li Yunyang's expression darkened as he flipped over and pinned her beneath him. "No way! You're mine alone; you're not allowed to look at other men!"
Xiang Xueer was taken aback. What is this idiot thinking? He suddenly seemed like a different person. His lips were getting closer, and his warm breath brushed against her cheek, carrying a hint of flirtation.
Wow, is this really happening? In the middle of the night in the forest like this? It's too intense! Xiang Xueer swallowed hard. "Uh, um..."
"Mm!" She let out a muffled sound, only to be silenced by Li Yunyang with a kiss. A sweet flavor invaded her mouth through his lips, prying her mouth open and lightly entangling with her Lilac tongue.
This idiot, when did he learn to French kiss? He had only kissed once before. Could it be that she, as his master, taught him well? Xiang Xueer gently pushed against his solid body, but instead, he pulled her tighter into his embrace, one large hand caressing her cheek.
"Ugh!" She couldn't help but let out a sound, the soft sensation, the warm breath, and the passion surging through her veins—how long had it been since she had been close to a man? This feeling was not bad; forget it, she didn't mind after all.
After a while, Li Yunyang breathed heavily as he pulled away from her lips, his flushed cheeks scanning her face. Then he gently pressed his face against her neck, extending his warm tongue to lick her pale neck. He leaned close to her ear and softly murmured, "I want you."
"Ah!" Xiang Xueer gasped, a tingling sensation quickly spreading throughout her body. Unconsciously, she reached out to wrap her arms around Li Yunyang's neck; the feeling of comfort began to melt her resolve.
The air was thick with a rich sweet scent. Xiang Xueer couldn't help but frown; this smell was strange yet familiar, like the sap of the Camphor Tree.
"Not good, Li Yunyang, let go of me!" she shouted. However, her body was already unable to escape from this passion. Her mind was clear, yet her body could not help but press closer to his chest; the dry and thirsty feeling in her mouth only made her crave more affection.
Li Yunyang's hands returned to her waist and with a 'pop', he undid her belt. Xiang Xueer struggled to push him away. "Li Yunyang, wake up! We’ve been poisoned by the Camphor Tree's sap!"
Li Yunyang shook his head vigorously, his large hands undoing her outer garment. Xiang Xueer's fragrant shoulder was half-exposed as Li Yunyang stared at that fair skin and kissed it directly. His breathing grew heavier. "No way, my limbs won't obey me; what should we do?"
If Xiang Xueer couldn't control herself, how could the young and impulsive Li Yunyang? This was truly troublesome; were they really going to have an outdoor encounter in this remote area? She certainly did not have such perverse tastes.
At that moment, a voice called out from afar: "Platypus, big sister, big sister, where are you?"
