Li Yunyang did not have time to complete his movement. He quickly stepped back, using the sword's body to brace himself, and then leaped into the air, performing a backflip to deftly evade the attack from the Hellhound. 0

"Hmph, just as expected, a fellow of the same kind, with similar movements!" Xiang Xueer glared at Li Yunyang, pouting as she quickly raised another dagger in her hand. With a swift motion, she activated Azure Wind and charged towards the Two-Headed Hellhound. 0

She lowered her body to match the height of the Demon Wolf, moving decisively and swiftly. Each strike was precise, without any unnecessary movements, targeting the Demon Wolf's neck—the vital spot of the beast. 0

Although the Hellhound had two heads, it lost its initiative under her relentless assault and could only retreat repeatedly. Li Yunyang watched in astonishment, realizing that while Xiang Xueer's marksmanship was impressive—hitting targets from six hundred meters away—her close-range attacks were equally fierce, making her resemble a beast hunting its prey. 0

"What are you doing standing there like a pig? Do you want me to handle this alone?" Xiang Xueer shouted angrily while continuing her attack, frustrated that Li Yunyang was dawdling. 0

Only then did Li Yunyang react. His keen eyes fixed on the dodging Hellhound. Seizing the opportunity during their exchanges, he drew his Azure Dragon Sword and unleashed his trump card: "Azure Dragon Slash!" 0

Several white blades formed from his attack flew towards the wolf's head. However, just as they reached it, the cunning wolf dodged and leaped away. Taking advantage of its evasion, Xiang Xueer thrust her dagger forward with a swift motion, striking true. The sharp blade instantly carved a 15-centimeter-long wound across the Hellhound's neck, causing red blood to gush out like a waterfall. The wounded creature howled in pain, shaking the entire forest with its cries. 0

"Ah!" Xiang Xueer quickly covered her ears; the howl was nearly deafening. After a moment, the Hellhound seemed even angrier after being injured. It threw its head back and howled at the sky, causing Li Yunyang's face to turn pale. 0

"What’s wrong with you?" Xiang Xueer turned to look at him, noticing his expression was as if he had eaten something foul. 0

"It's bad! It's calling for reinforcements!" Li Yunyang turned his head to scan the surroundings, sniffing intently. A wave of worry washed over him as he realized he could faintly detect other beasts' scents beginning to permeate the forest. 0

Calling for reinforcements made Xiang Xueer feel increasingly uneasy. If it were just the two of them against one Two-Headed Hellhound, they might barely win; but if it called for allies, they would be in serious trouble. 0

Xiang Xueer quickly tugged at Li Yunyang's sleeve. "Stop lingering! We need to retreat now; a wise man doesn’t take unnecessary risks." 0

Li Yunyang squinted and looked around, shaking his head, "It's too late, they've already come!" 0

That was too fast. She turned her head to look around. Under the white mist, pairs of green eyes gradually revealed their true colors, slowly emerging from the thick fog. 0

"One, two, three, four, five, six!" Xiang Xueer counted with her fingers. Including the one before, there were exactly seven. She sneered, "Hmph! Seven wolves? What, planning to start a clothing brand?" 0

"You still have the mood to joke? We're in big trouble now!" Li Yunyang cursed and complained. Xiang Xueer took a deep breath; facing seven wolves at once was no joke. It seemed they could only defeat them separately! 0

She turned to Li Yunyang and signaled with her eyes. Then she counted 'one, two, three,' and the two of them sprinted off in opposite directions before standing back to back. The Wolf Demons also split apart; there were four on Li Yunyang's side and three on hers. 0

It seemed I should be able to finish mine first and then help him, Xiang Xueer thought. One hand raised her dagger while the other quietly reached for the Serpent Whip in her waist pouch. 0

This was a battle between humans and wolves. Xiang Xueer shifted her feet and quickly moved forward, swiftly dodging the Hellhound that lunged at her. She flipped over, pulled out the Serpent Whip from her bag, and shouted, "Bind!" 0

She decisively ensnared the Hellhound that had yet to dodge away. With a howl, the Wolf Demon was trapped and fell to the ground, struggling. Xiang Xueer made a firm decision to give these beasts a warning. 0

She leaped into the air, raising her dagger high above the struggling Hellhound on the ground and stabbed down fiercely. Blood gushed out with a splatter, staining the ground. A few drops of bright red blood splashed onto Xiang Xueer's cheek as she slowly lifted her head. Her sharp eyes, like those of a leopard, were particularly striking and cold against the backdrop of blood. 0

The air was filled with the scent of blood. Xiang Xueer let out a cold laugh as she stood up slowly, pulling out the dagger from inside the beast's body. She kicked the still-twitching corpse hard, sending it flying a meter away. The remaining six Hellhounds were finally subdued by her presence; seeing their companion's corpse made them hesitate to advance. 0

"Hmph!" Xiang Xueer flicked the blood off her dagger and looked at the remaining six Hellhounds with a cold Killing Intent on her lips: "Who wants to come next?" 0

"Hehe, nice gaze!" On top of the hill, Heart Demon blinked his Blue Eyes with interest and smiled cheerfully, "In that case, let me add some seasoning!" 0

He finished speaking slowly, stood up, and placed one hand near his mouth, letting out a loud whistle that echoed throughout the valley. Upon hearing the sound, the six Hellhounds seemed to receive their master's command and immediately began to hiss as they charged towards the two people. 0

"What’s going on?" Li Yunyang furrowed his brows and glanced up at the mountain peak across from him, slowly moving closer to Xiang Xueer. "It seems like there are people up there!" 0

"Hmph!" Xiang Xueer had just managed to subdue these beasts with her previous move, but someone had foolishly issued an attack command. It seemed that there was someone powerful behind this group of Hellhounds. 0

It appeared there was no other choice; today they would have to fight or be dragged into hell by these wolves. Xiang Xueer extended her hand and commanded, "Release!" The Serpent Whip returned to her grasp just as the group of Demons began their assault. 0

"Slash!" Li Yunyang felt a tearing pain in his leg and quickly dodged. The fabric of his pants had been ripped open, and blood flowed down his leg. He swiftly raised the Azure Dragon Sword in his hand and struck down at one of the Hellhounds, making a loud 'crack' as he severed its head, causing the injured Hellhound to collapse to the ground. 0

"Great! He took one down!" Xiang Xueer glanced sideways at Li Yunyang but suddenly realized that somehow they had been separated by several meters from each other amidst the chaos. 0

This was bad; she cursed inwardly and prepared to move towards Li Yunyang's direction when suddenly, with a whoosh, two Hellhounds lunged at her from both front and back. 0

"Ah!" A scream escaped her lips as one of the Hellhounds clamped down hard on her left arm. The Demon was incredibly strong, trying to knock her to the ground while biting her. In response, she rolled over and raised her dagger, fiercely stabbing at the wretched beast's neck—one stab, two stabs, three stabs—until blood sprayed out, yet this creature still refused to let go. 0
